Simply the best takeaway the northside of Sheffield/Barnsley. Tried the kebabs, pizzas and curries too. All the food was fantastic, great portions and the price is good too. Their lamb pasanda is amazing, their pizzas cooked to perfection and the kebabs are fantastic. Great staff too who are always polite, helpful and friendly. This is how all takeaways should be. You can pay a lot more elsewhere for less food that isnt as good quality. Highly recommended! If i could give 6 stars i would!

My first ever order from here. Got Lamb tika bhunaa as part of the £13.50 meal for 1 So much Lamb in the dish and really tasty and soft. For £13.50 you get a main of your choice, rice, onion bahji (cannot spell today) A freshly made naan bread and poppadom. And a can of pop too! My first order from this place and it will not be my last! My first ever bhuna too... Absolutely delighted! I'd order from this place again for sure!

Proper fancied a curry tonight seen as though weather a little cooler. Don't know what's happened here though. 6 months ago, was best curry in hoyland. Tonight was absolute garbage!! Won't be ordering again

Absolutely gorgeous food! Foods we had were Chicken tikka korma special. Lamb balti. Pilau rice, chips, Garlic Nan & poppadoms. Everything was so tasty! You will not be disappointed! I had to phone the restaurant to give compliments to the chef as it was just so good! Will definitely return.

Ordered a Calozone, put in note box (please no Mushrooms) absolutely detest them, what happens turns up full of bloody Mushrooms, why have a note box if your not going to read it, took away my enjoyment of the Calozone as had to pick all the Mushrooms out before I could eat it 😡😡

Terrible food inedible use red hot chillies in everything curry just tasted of salt rung up to complain and staff rude unhelpful and condescending steer clear

We've ordered before from here, but I'd forgotten and now wish we hadn't as the calzone was bland , no cheese, raw onion . Cold chips , poppadoms that had been done earlier that day as we're rubbery and the sagg also had that much grease it was soaked into the lid plus had to be double trayed to stop it overflowing . It was also made with tinned new potatoes and far too much spice.

Very disappointed in the takeaway we ordered tonight, King prawn curry, never seen a King prawn. A few shrimps/prawns. Chicken Tikka curry. A few lumps of chicken. Plate full of slop that ended up in the bin. Yuck. £27 wasted .

Order tonight over 2 hours wating for food when it arrived it was cold rang and explained the problem and had the phone put down on me what a waste of£31 never again 🤔🤦‍♂️

Wated best part of 2 hour for our order tonight for food that was cold and un edible when I rang and told them about the problem I was told the food was warm when it left the shop god nose how long ago and that I was the only one to complain then put the phone down food went straight into the bin what a waste of £30 disgrace

Following on from a previous review I gave referring to the food being less tasty than water. I had a curry that I bought from Iceland which was 100% taster than this place.

Well what can i say first time we've ordered from here since last year. Tikka massala was so sweet you could taste the sugar. Onion bhajis 2 were ok 2 were not very nice. Chips were warmed up and wrong burger delivered however they did bring another one.

Whenever we fancy a treat we order from Faisal. Whether it’s curry, pizzas or whatever we fancy, it is always really good. We much prefer to order takeaway from our local place rather than one of the big chains; they just don’t compare. Tonight, for the first time since we started ordering from Faisal, I had to call back after our delivery as “they” had delivered the wrong pizza. Without question, they can straight back with another pizza. Brilliant. It was at that point I realised it was MY mistake. I thought Pollo meant cheese. When they turned up with another chicken pizza I realised what I’d done. The point is, they put the customer first. I have since phoned them up and admitted my mistake, and offered to pay for the extra pizza that we ended up with. Again, they were brilliant and we just laughed about it. I don’t write reviews unless they are really deserved. Faisal in Hoyland deserve credit!

Respect to all at faisal just popped in for my usual Saturday night takeaway happened to have my nhs sweatshirt on and they didn't charge me a penny for my food top lads even asked me how things were going at hospital I worked at absolute total respect for these lads thanks Wayne

just had meal for 2 .includes 2 curries of choice ,2 popadums,2 onion bs,small tikka side 1 nann,and 2 cans pop ..cost £16 because we ordered on line ,,(lamb tandori,and lamb dupiaza,both curries didnt taste of anything,bland and tasteless and not very hot temperature wise .. and tandori ,just hot spice wise ...dont mind paying for nice food ,but this was a waste of money .wont be ordering again from here .

First time ordering from here, chicken bhuna and chicken madras.....we've found our new favourite takeaway! Never had so much meat in both currys! Really tasty food, good portions, quick delivery, reasonable price, will definitely be using again 😁

Good if you are not vegetarian....frozen ‘mixed veg’ in a sauce is pretty lame....rest of food good.

Would give 0🌟 if possible. Would NEVER EVER recommend to anyone. My husband and daughter had eaten take away last night (28/03/19) and as a result have been up since around 3/4am after both waking, with feelings illness of sickness to running to bathroom and physically and repeatedly vomiting on several occasions throughout the early hours of this morning (29/03/2019) and sharp/cramping/aching pain in stomach. Pale, white faces, and feeling ill in a matter of hours after eating a ruby red coloured chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and onion bhajis.

Still using polystyrene packaging so can't give a higher rating 😭

Really unimpressed with our food we received, the garlic bread didn’t taste anything like garlic bread it was bland, the donner meat was cold, the chips weren’t cooked fully however, the food portions are good but won’t he ordering from here again.

Basically right, I’ve been ordering pizzas from here for a long time and recently they sent me the wrong pizza, so I phoned up and they said they would send me a free pizza next time I ordered, so I phoned them up and I was gonna order a couple of things and the free pizza, and I explained to the man on the phone that they owed me a pizza and he was really nasty to me and then put the phone down on me. I’m really not impressed.

Very unimpressed with the services. Called last night, for Pizza Deal 2, one chicken tikka, one ham and mushroom, gave the adress and postcode. Waited in, ALL downstairs lights ON and after 1 hour and a half of waiting called to check the whereabouts of the delivery to be accused of lying and giving a false postcode and to be told the driver had left, so, i repeated the postcode and it couldnt have been that fake because 2 hours later the food eventually arrived, the driver tutted and shook his head at us, and to top it off it was the wrong order and cold, at this point i was beyond annoyed and just took it because we were that hungry. I just think, a bit of courtesy towards the customers wouldn't go a miss, and maybe listening to the order too, not to mention how unproffessional and rude it was to be called a liar. Won't be ordering again!!

Used to go here and food was lovely (few years back) has gone down hill from their, chicken tastes off and the Korma is tasteless, chips was rock solid as though they have been warmed up and the onion bhajis have gotten way smaller! Will not be returning as regular customers again.

Reported to Food Standards Agency. DO NOT EAT HERE. The naan was raw, the rice was raw and to top it off there was a complimentary piece of metal/plastic wiring in the chicken that I almost choked on. The curry seemed to have separated between sediment at the bottom, and essentially just water at the top. Obviously after eating raw food we didn't dare touch the rest. When looking back on the order we also noticed we were charged delivery when we should not have been. After ringing back straight away they promised they would completely refund us. 4 hours later despite calling them again they hadn't turned up. Called them next day on opening and they are now refusing to refund and not accepting responsibility and manager hung up phone. Absolute joke. Terrible food, terrible service and we've reported them to the Food Standards Agency.
