Fairhurst’s Fish & Chips in Conwy

Fantastic chippy. We visited on both nights of a weekend trip and will certainly come back. Delicious, fresh food and not long to wait either!

New season, extortionate prices we ordered large chips , curry £5.25 .. good chips but won’t be rushing back

Best chips and gravy we have ever had. Wish we could pick this takeaway up and move it to our home town. Will definitely go back

had chips from here as soon as we arrived, they were so good we came back another three times in the week even though we were staying in presthaven.def coming back next time we come.

we stopped off here well staying at golden sands resort and wow these chips are fantastic this will be our go do chippy when we come on holiday to ty Mawr next year great service yes it can be a wait but that's only because so many people are getting there dinner from there but

A little bit on the expensive side, but well worth it, the Fish and Chips are fantastic, I try and go here everytime I'm in Towyn. The only negative is that they only seem to be open Friday to Sunday. I was sat in the long bar (opposite) on the 14th September, and there must have been 20 walk ups and 2 cars go there, a lot of missed business,

So we was at the long bar opposite and sadly at present they are not doing food but a Staff member told us you are very welcome to bring over food, so we did and very tasty to. To be 100% honest better food than bar menu. Very nice As all people say you need Donner Meat "PLEASE"

Always go here when we visit towyn. No Donner meat on this trip was a big let down. Still a mega chippy.

A must try while your in north Wales, fish are enormous and has the best fruity curry around😁😁 open everyday from 11.45-23.45

This place is hit an miss. Staff yesterday looked really unclean. One of them went outside to fuss a dog who licked her and jumped up on her already unclean pinny. Never washed her hands. So glad our food had already been wrapped. You go sometimes and depending on who's cooking it's ok. Most of the time they nearly put gravy on your chips. Seems like they need more professional staff with good customer service

Excellent fish and chips and the curry is really nice pity they don't sell meals like a Chinese chippy still it's very. very nice

Never order doner meat from here... Just had to put it straight in the bin. It was so dried up it was rock hard. No wonder they go out the back to do it.... So you can't see what rubbish you are getting. Basically ... just cost me £4.50 for a few chips

This little gem of a fish and chip shop, won't go anywhere else in Towyn as I don't think it would be anywhere near to this chippys standards, beautiful fish, generous amount of chips and the kids meals are great value for money.

So disappointed in our visit here, took children to the fair and went to chip shop for a treat.... staff looked so miserable and not a smile between them all ... will not be recommending this place to nobody

We were looking forward to traditional fish chips and peas and expected them to be great because of all the hype and of course the price. How wrong were we! The chips were greasy and smelt greasy the fish was tasteless. Almost water like and the 'mushy peas' weren't the normal 'mushy peas' you'd expect. More processed that lacked flavour just like the fish. Even the vinegar is watered down and tasteless. Really disappointed as it's not cheap. I'd stick to the chip shop on Frodsgam street or Lower Bridge street, these are half the price and the meal here was just awful

Práctico y local para muchas de las casas de vacaciones cerca. . . cortado de aquí porque conseguimos tener patatas fritas pescado 'n' en la costa eh? . . . Grub delicioso. . ! !Así que si el precio es un 'poco más alto que el de cualquier otra parte." . Outlet. es un pequeño- será de temporada. . Así la gente en. aquí que quejarse. . . De verdad te. . . jeeeez. . .Bien hecho chicas en la tienda. . . . fue un gran comienzo para mi visita allí. . :)

Hemos usado este chips durante más de 10 años y nuestra última visita fue Jueves simplemente han desaparecido. Viajamos desde Chester sólo para el pescado solo porque es el mejor pescado de degustación, patatas fritas y guisantes que jamás comer, hecho! Sabemos que es un poco más cara que otras, pero para la cantidad Chippys de peces que tienes en el pescado y las patatas fritas que merece la pena. No estoy hablando sobre el tamaño real de la que estoy hablando de pescado blanco que en una parte. Si no has probado, entonces debe y si estás quejando entonces eres una de esas personas que nada puede. Toda nuestra familia en coche para llegar a pescado, patatas fritas y guisantes desde lejos de Chester. Sigan con el buen trabajo y la próxima vez que esté en quiero extra chips; 0).

Llamado aquí el viernes por la noche. Estado aquí antes y no era muy bueno pero ahora es horrible y cara. Tenía carne y ensalada, doner era 3. 50 alrededor de 5 piezas. Volví en y me dijeron que tenían cortara porque se estaba haciendo tonterías con el doner carne pero todavía te cobran el precio mismo. Nos dieron un poco más, pero no podía comer cualquier tiene que había sido superficial para una nítida. La salsa de curry y estaba frío. Acabé poniendo todo. Sin duda no regresaré. Si quieres ser estafados por comida basura luego ir causa que todo u obtener.

Bastante cara para lo que es aunque goo el tamaño de las porciones. Es principalmente cuando vas por "extras", guisantes, salsa, etc., sin embargo, cuando hace caro sabía muy bien y estaba tan ocupado cuando fuimos que la comida era fresca.

Been here 2 times so far since we arrived and have had no bother with the food. Fish is cooked to order and love the chips. The staff are friendly aswell as good mannered will be going back for more.

Personal no quieren servir muy lento y poco dispuesto debe ser menor pagamos. La comida era buena el año pasado terrible ahora muy tobogán colina

Best chips ever and they're open until midnight! The chips stay hot for ages too if you are taking them back to the caravan park.

decent enough fish and chips just thought £29 for fish and chips x 4 and a small pot of curry makes it a bit pricey .

Love this place, it's like a little tradition in my family, kids get to go the fair if ican get fish and chips with fruity curry, it's a win win

I called into Fairhurst's with my young daughter to get some chips for lunch. We had to wait a few minutes as they were frying up a fresh batch and true enough we got served piping hot chips that were just the right shape, size and texture. My daughter proclaimed them to be the best chips in the world and asked if we could return to Towyn the following day so we could go back for more! The only negative was that when we visited a member of staff was sat on the bench outside smoking. If people want to smoke it's their choice but some people, myself included, can be put off by the sight of a person who's about to serve me food sat sucking away on a cancer stick :-(. Maybe they could ask their employees to find somewhere a bit less visible to indulge in their habits?

all their food is good quality dont miss out on fruity curry and chips clean and value for money !!!!!

this is one of the best chippys in the town the fish was that big she had to chop the ends off to fit it in the box the prices was the best in the town kids meals was good value its right by the fair so people are in and out all the time so the food is always hot when we go back i will 100% be going back to this chippy many thanks

We found this to be the best value for money fish and chip shop in the area. Their kids meal deals are great and include a drink and the staff are all friendly even though they are kept so busy all the time!!
