The Fab in FabRico is true. Cappuccino so much nicer than large chain coffee shops. Fab decor, cakes looked fab and a fantastic little room for a quiet chat at the rear of cafe.

The coffee in Fabrico is excellent. It is not cheap but well worth paying for. A good selection of home made cake is usually available along with snacks such as panninis and pasta.

stopped by here by pure chance as i was heading into Chesterfield. Situated opposite the car park near the town hall, this little place is small but quaint, a rustic italian feel to it. the staff are extremely friendly and offer a warm welcome. They serve a great choice of panini, but of particular note is the coffee. very smooth and great taste. apparently they are the only place to serve it. if you get the chance to stop for a quick coffee instead of visiting the well known chains, then i recommend this place as worth a visit.

This cafe is small, intimate and friendly. The coffee is the best you will have outside Italy. It is fast becoming a great place to meet with friends, great buzz and very cosmopolitan. You may sit next to to the local priest, a mad woman, or an aspiring actress, it is like being on the set of La dolce vita, do go for a coffee or an authentic ice cream

Can't be in Italy? Try this little coffee bar and it will be a great substitute! Lovely coffee and snacks and a great chilled ambience - If you love all things Italian you won't be disappointed!

The welcome was good. Just a few tables. Good decor and atmosphere. Coffee good however when I had a takeaway recently the paper cup had a funny smell and it put me off and I threw it away. Shame. The drink in was fab though and the little biscuit was nice. Didn't see a toilet to use but didn't ask so maybe you can use. Great location next to car park for stop on way home. Will return. They have a gelato fridge and really want to try that! Will report back!

Great addition to Chesterfield attractions, a small independent coffee house, which could have been transported from Milan or Rome. Sophisticated decor & excellent coffee, the owner has concentrated on quality at very reasonable prices. Try the Italian pastries, or the traditional ice cream. Well worth a visit

I'm not sure why it is like a fine dine restaurant. I wish there were negative reviews to give. Firstly, a restaurant like this the service is appalling. You need to keep calling the waiter. Which is not a big issue. But when your restaurant is only 30% full, how does it take 15 minutes to bring drinks and 50 minutes to bring your food. It looked like all staff were very lethargic. The worst part was the menu. When your dish says 'Gnocchi Al Pesto' and the description says it's made with Pesto sauce, you would expect to have a Pesto taste in your dish. But the dish came with tangy tomato sauce, which tasted nothing close to Pesto. When mentioning to the manager, she was adamant that the menu mentions Tomato, so Pesto sauce is mixed with tomato. It doesn't make up to your taste, but they never had complaints. I explained that your dish name and description mention Pesto and Pesto sauce. So, as any normal customer, i ordered a dish thinking to be tasting like Pesto. But she was adamant that they couldn't really do anything regarding it and won't replace the meal and would charge me. Worthless argument and not ready to serve customers. She was pretending as if i had never had a dish containing Pesto or didn't know what it was. She didn't even try to compensate or offer anything to make it. Worst service and experience ever. In the end, I had to take the dish home in a container. Please look at the pictures below what you had given and what exactly the dish should be like. Other food was average and overpriced.

Booked a meal for 7:15 pm tonight. Got there. Shut. No contact from them but their Facebook page says that it is closed for a refurbishment. Didn't look like that. No sign of a refurbishment at all. Gone bust hopefully. Always been a problem at Nonnas. W☆☆☆kers.
