Evina's Coffee Shop in Lewes

Friendly service and nice food. The cafe was full but we sat in the lovely little garden area at the back of the property. A bit expensive for a lunchtime snack as the kebabs were £13.50 each but they were very tasty.

It was my first time here, Im really pleased we chose here for a lunch and coffee. Pleasant surroundings with seating out the back, outside or under cover. Food and coffee ☕️ were well presented and taste to match. Would definitely recommend. Will come again. Thank you

3 coffees and 2 toasted tea cakes. Asked for butter only but the waitress brought jam as well. Bill was £19 +. I was so shocked I paid it against my better judgement. Never again! Be warned as no prices listed in the cafe.

We had a wonderful welcome with super coffee cakes and a sausage sandwich. Superb service having tried 2 other cafes. One other cafe The Lanes where the staff failed to recognise us waiting for ages and one member of staff talking to another table for over 20 mins. We ended up just walking out. However at Elvinas everything was perfect. Thank you

Went here for the first time today. Small but perfect. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was bright and clean. The food was a delight, I have never had such a delicious Paninni, full of flavour with crisps and salad on the side. The coffee was the best. Thank you. I will recommend to others and will definitely go again.

I entered the cafe and asked what the soup of the day. Was told it was cream of tomato. I asked if it was home made. Yes the chef makes all his own soups I was told. It was canned tomato soup! I told 2 members of staff this and they admitted it was canned. I was lied to.

This is our favourite place to eat in Seaford. The service is really friendly and welcoming, the food is amazing and it's very good value too. I'm vegetarian and there's a good range of veggie options on the menu. The food is always beautifully cooked and really fresh. My favourites are the omelettes and the halloumi burger. The chips here are the best! Highly recommended if you're in the area.

We wanted to eat by the seaside that there is not many restaurants nearby both of us on cycles. We found this place by chance and only two tables outside. It was really busy and I can see why why the food was perfect nothing to fall I had eggs Florentine and Pete had a panini. Service was really good the food tasted brain cooked to perfection. Great cup of black coffee and delicious baklava, sitting outside in the garden. We were warned they would be closing in about 20 minutes but were not made to feel a nuisance or hurried out.

We now need to find a dog friendly cafe in Seaford so are trying them out. So far this has been the best. The staff are very friendly and chatty without wasting time. Very apologetic if something has run out after a busy day trading. That makes a change these days. So a big plus there for Evina's! We only had a snack and coffee, but it was lovely. The coffee was tasty and hot, in others by the time you get the food the coffee is lukewarm, but not Evina's. It was tasty as well.

Efficient staff pleasant atmosphere warm welcome fantastic food piping hot presented well highly recommended you won't be disappointed there home made burgers are absolutely amazing and there home made milkshakes are a must

Fed up with waiting for a menu at one cafe we decided to try elsewhere. We needed to sit outside as had dog on lead. About to sit down outside Evinas when waitress suggested garden at rear. Lovely spot with heaters. Lunch excellent with very friendly service.

My partner and I had a rare day off together and had heard such praise for this coffee shop we had to try. We chose to sit outside in the heated patio and the sheer warmth of the heaters kept us lovely and toasty. I had the “big” breakfast and my partner had the full English. Both generous and hearty, piping hot and so tasty. This was by far one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Staff were friendly and attentive and the cost was very reasonably priced for the generous portions. Will be back very soon.

This looks like some tiny little ordinary coffee shop doing ordinary sorts of things but this was a revelation. For while they do all the sorts of things you might expect - all sorts of coffees, paninis, sandwiches, salads, breakfasts, cakes, etc - the owner is Turkish, from Istanbul. So there is also the option of wonderful Turkish coffee (with two free Turkish delights!), baklava, and Turkish-style omelettes and breakfast. And it's all very reasonably priced. An absolute joy.

After a long walk over the downs we decided to give Evinas a go for the first time. Great decision as the coffee was lovely, my wife's breakfast tasty and my Kofta salad was delicious. This place deserves more reviews!
