Really need to sort the attitude and also start taking card and by extension paying taxes. Really bad attitude, service, OK food for after a beer but really, Moseley can do better for Chinese

Awful experience tried to order food and was met with indifferenece and pretty much a total lack of care didn't get to the food so can't comment but absolutely awful servjce

Overpriced and food is extremely dry and fatty, the man who took my order was rude and had no manners. I ordered chicken balls and they was so hard and dry it tasted as if i was eating rocks, the chicken tasted like it was pre-heated and it gets stick in ur teeth which is annoying. •The chips are also extremely dry and flavourless. •The rice was so sloppy and had no flavour. •Man who took my order is rude and didn’t show any emotion •Food is so overpriced and expensive!! Its not even worth a 1p coin. Theres other chinese takeways that charge less and taste way better!! Wouldn’t recommend •Been coming here for years its never been great but now its the worst its ever been, not coming here ever again

I wish i had of read the previous reviews the food was disgusting .i just had a portion of chicken balls/fried rice/ chips and curry sauce .the chips where rock hard and dry they looked like yesterday s chips reheated i would of been better off putting oven chips in my oven no taste at all .the chicken balls where rank rock hard batter and jelly type chicken inside with a werid taste i only ate 2 out of 8 chicken balls the fried rice was soggy and was not hot the curry sauce was ok but i will never come back and such as waste of £11.60

Went here tonight as a little treat. Ordered chicken balls chips and curry sauce. The food was way below par. Everything burnt, the chips were like eating stones and the chicken balls were harder than rocks. Curry sauce tasted burnt and was more watery than a bath. Never Again

Survival Chinese, good location. In need of a revamp, cleaner facilities and some smiles. Portions are all right. Only cash.

The ribs in plum sauce was meat less & chewy & the special fried rice (2 ) separate containers was flavour less. I wouldn't recommend Evergreen.1 - out 10 😏

Food is okay but could do with more flavour I ordered spare ribs in sweet and sour sauce it was more knuckles with no meat on them nd weak sauce I only ever have king prawn or normal chow mein now

Dry flavourless cooked without care. Sauces sickly and one dimensional in flavour. No sign of fresh herbs or spices. Never again

The food is delicious from here delivered quickly and piping hot, the delivery man is so lovely very friendly and chatty, highly recommend this takeaway which has been in Moseley many years

Driver arrived in half the estimated time but wouldn't wait for me to come downstairs and take delivery. My friend had answered the door quickly but the delivery driver promptly left!

I reviewed the Evergreen a year ago and gave it 5 stars. Unfortunately it has gone ‘watery’. The dishes have no flavour. What’s happened? The different spices have gone and everything tastes the same with light watery sauces. Very disappointed as we will have to find another. What a shame.

The food is very nice,always the same taste and standard just one star lost because the young boy who takes the order has little customer skills.

Eating here since I was a nipper and the quality has not dropped. Nostalgic whenever I order.

Been using this takeaway for 16 months when I moved into the area, food has been excellent except this evening I had beef chow mei and the beef was really chewy which is most unusual

Rude staff whether the child who answers weekend or adult ! Clearly upset driver as down to one driver. I used to order every wknd under £50 food for my family quoted last week 1.5hrs took 2 and was cold - no sympathy when I complained and decided I will show with my feet - your not the only Chinese on the block 👋🏼

this used to be decent until a few months ago they sent me double cooked prawns in batter, they`d obviously reused the battered prawns from the night before and rebattered, then a few weeks later i tried again, and the sweet and sour sauce smelt like stale pee, what the hell is wrong with you people? i nearly came in and shouted at you., TERRIBLE SERVICE. I will never EVER order off you again.

I begrudgingly use this Chinese as it's the only option in Moseley in walking distance. Rude staff, who would find please and thank you would go a long way. Food is also mediocre, marginally better than the customer service.

the person who answered the phone had no manners. When ordering my food i asked for noodles he kept telling me telling me what it consisted of. After going back and forth for almost 3 minutes about thees "NOODLES" he said and i quote " make up your mind i am too busy"...absolute cheek of him never will i spend my money with this ignorant place again.... ps learn to communicate in English as it seems you dont know how to.

The best Chinese food in Moseley/Kings Heath! Always fresh, tasty and hot, delivered quickly. Can't fault it.

Surprisingly good, haven't had before as I don't think they deliver, but the noodles were worth a wander down!

I ate at this Chinese Take Away for many years. Recently, we placed an order for delivery. We received our order in good time however, when I received the food I found a long hair in my food. I phoned up the restaurant and they were not helpful in resolving the issue and said they could not do anything until the next day. We will not be ordering here again.

Poor!, friends and myself have ordered food for many years in Moseley(15 yrs+). Prices have increased in the last year but the quality has taken gone down hill in the last year, cheap ingredients and loads of cheap sauce to bulk it up!

Que decepcion. Las publicaciones en Tripadvisor nos animaron, pero la realidad era una selección de platos constantemente desagradables. Nada destacó y dejamos la mayor parte de la comida. Como preocupante es que el sitio web era incorrecto respecto a las selecciones y los precios. Al propietario no parecía importarle que engañara al público y parecía no entender las implicaciones legales. Nunca más.

Casi nunca conseguimos comida para llevar, pero nuestra hija realmente quería una comida china, así que pedimos a Evergreen ya que es local. No puedo recordar lo que pedimos porque mi recuerdo primordial es de pequeños pedazos de carne nadando en una salsa glutinosa acompañada de trozos de cebolla y pimienta verde. El único plato redentor fue el de las lechugas Yuk Sung, que eran sabrosas, pero gran parte del resto terminó en el contenedor.

I order somethink and dident get the full meal not happy not got my money's werth and the staff say they don't have to give all that siad in a dosh on menu

They only got a 2 star food hygine review so was a little put off. That said the food is one of the best around and they have a open kitchen and looks clean.

Hygiene rating is 1 out of 5 "Major improvement necessary". Food is too salty even if I specifically ask them for "no salt"!

I love this Take Away! It's by far the best Chinese Food in Handsworth, and for a take away I would say it's i n the top 3 in Birmingham! The Portions are always HUGE!, The quality of the food is probably one of the best I have EVER had..If you can't tell..I LOVE THIS TAKE-AWAY!, and as someone else here says..one of the reception staff is a little darling!..but the whole group are welcoming and warm! It's Christmas Eve and I am posting this review as I was checking the closing times over Christmas...I am buying a HUGE take-out from EverGreen's Special fried rice (a must from here) Battered Chicken with Curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce, and a Hot and Sour Soup...This will last me more than 2 days! Honestly..the size of this I will have my christmas dinner tomorrow and some supper left! Me love you looong time! ;)

The mixed meat chow mein is utterly amazingly beauitul and you get tonnes of it. The won ton soup is also amazing. Also, a pretty girl sometimes serves :)

great value for money, large portions, would recommend. only a couple of issues; the man who answers the phone is very hard to understand, also you have to pay £1 For delivery, but it is worth it.
