We ordered and collected our menu choice last Saturday and the quality and flavour of the food was fantastic. Looking forward to trying some different dishes from the menu next time.

Table for 7 on a Friday evening. Lovely, helpful, attentive staff, who made recommendations from the menu (not really required for seasoned curry eaters, but appreciated nonetheless) Starting with freshly-made crisp poppadoms, followed by the nicest tandoori lamb chops I have ever had (flavoursome, not over cooked but chargrilled, exceptionally meaty - just fab in fact), with mains being spiced to the required heat requested by all of us, and good naans and rice to accompany, this was a fist class meal at a fair price. Well done Everest Xpress!

My father and I have made this a regular Tuesday evening outing as we love the polite, friendly service and delicious food. Thoroughly recommend the butter chicken (which comes with pilau rice included). Tandoori chicken in a rich, slightly spicy, creamy sauce. My favourite curry so far that I’ve tried in Lincoln and I’ve tried most curry houses as I’m a local. Great value for money too, central to town and lovely ambiance!

Excellent nepalese/Indian food on the strait. Delicious fresh curries and excellent side dishes, the lamb hariyali being a highlight. Feels as though it operates primarily as a takeaway with a restaurant function which may take away from the experience a tiny bit but still a fantastic place for authentic, fresh food in the top end of Lincoln

Ordered takeaway, waited an hour before calling up to chase. Was told it had left, waited again. Call back and was told it hadn’t left yet was just leaving… waited again. Called back and was told it wasn’t coming and to cancel the order!

Visited here as a table of 14 for a birthday meal and we all left very happy. Friendly staff, great service and tasty food. At the end of our meal we didn't feel rushed out and was given opportunity to finish our drinks. We will certainly add Everest as a place to revisit.

Booking for 8 last minute. Nothing was too much of a problem. Drinks order was taken swiftly and delivered with amazing skill! 8 cobras on one tray, all taken upstairs!! Poppadoms and pickles were great and warm pops are a must and didn't disappoint. Everyone had a different starter and main so individual reviews would be hard, but everything was presented amazingly and so flavourful! The lamb chop starter was incredible, as was the house tikka masala! Rice and bread were above standard. The lady serving us had thest amazing friendly smile! Nothing was too much problem. 10/10

Myself and the family paid a visit to this restaurant and we weren't dissapointed. We were greeted and promptly seated. The menu had a good verity and had a mix of Nepalese and Indian food. We have the Spiced Paneer and Onion bhaji which were both very nice, for mains we had the LKK, Tandoori King Prawns and Lamb, again everything was absolutely delicious. The good..the food was nice. All four of us agreed that the food was good...BUT It was slow..they were very busy with take aways and people collecting meals and there was no priority given to people sat inside. Next we were sat by the window in the doorway and we were cold. Every time someone came in for food and then the party of 30 that entered and left the door open for some time made our experience awful. We were sat in our coats in the end...They need to rethink that table as it was very uncomfortable when the door opened constantly and there was a draft under door.

18/03/2023 came in at 8pm ordered popadoms and main courses. Drinks order was wrong but hey ho. It’s now 9pm we’ve had popadoms but still waiting for mains. There are tables free so not packed out. So far wouldn’t recommend! May come back and edit but they said 5 mins. We will see?

From asking for a table for 2 to when we left had fantastic service. The food was served in a timely manner and was excellent. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back when we visit Lincoln again.

Visited Everest on The Strait for the first time. It is a cosy, clean restaurant decorated tastefully. The food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend the vegetable massala. I will definitely visit again!

This takeaway is probably my favourite in Lincoln. Their chicken korma is spot on, and you can't get better value for money than their set meal for one, which easily feeds 2 as a feast.

We have now had 3 meals from this great Nepalese takeaway, We won't go anywhere else now !! Excellent flavours everything has its own great flavour, big plus for us is thatits not just full of fat !! No greasy globules anywhere, just good portions and flavours.

This Nepalese and Indian menu is the freshest-tasting and least oily food we have ever had. The vegetables always taste crisp and healthy, and the meat is tender. The balance of spices is perfect. It is absolutely our first choice for take-away, and we have never been disappointed.

First visit to this place after seeing it whilst passing along the high street. The food was delicious, freshly prepared in front of you. I can recommend anything from the Nepalese section, tasty with a bit of zing without being too fiery. This, without doubt, is my new favourite restaurant takeaway.

Good food and service, decent selection of dishes and delivery ahead of time. Deffo one of the better takeaways of its type in the area. Also has an open plan kitchen so you can see your dishes prepared; they have nothing to hide it would seem. Would order again.

Nice to have a different take away option in Lincoln but not sure how authentic the Nepalese dishes are. Really enjoyed our meal, full of flavour and decent portion sizes. Staff really friendly. Only criticism- puri bread was inedible- really greasy just tasted of oil so wouldn't get that again.

Had a long wait with it being a Saturday night, but my goodness it was worth it! Myself and my two brothers all agreed it was the best curry we have had in years, probably best ever! Tender meat, beautifully flavoursome sauce and very little residual oil as with many takeaways. Definitely will be ordering again in future and will reccomend to others , thank you!

We got so excited when we heard about Everest Express as we are constantly searching for a good Indian takeaway in Lincoln, but we were really disappointed with the food. The ordering process, delivery and food labels were spot on, but every dish tasted and looked the same - basically a hot tomatoe sauce. I don't understand how anyone can think this is good Indian/Nepalese food. The search goes on.

Very rarely order a takeaway but after my experience today this may have to become a regular treat! Genuinely one of the nicest takeaways I have ever eaten! I had Himali Chicken and Tarka Daal, both were so flavourful and it was a nice change for the dishes not to be too oily or greasy! Good portion sizes, food hot, delivered quickly and friendly service, would 100% recommend and will definitely become a regular customer!

I've been a fan of Indian food for many years,but most of the takeaways in Lincoln belong to a bygone era ,heavy greasy and bland,although may are brightly coloured.we gave up and cooked it ourselves..then someone recommended Everest Xpress .what a refreshing change .Light ,very tasty & a mile away from the usual slop you get around here.The only reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it is a little pricey.

The dishes are bursting with freshness and a world away from what we all have come to think of as a curry. The staff are delightful and welcome you back as an old friend time after time. Lincoln is not the best place for good Indian food; in fact, it's one of the few cities where mediocre Indian food is often the norm... So it has been great to find Everest Express. I've used the place three times now for takeaway, and each time the food has been well spiced, tasty and hot. I'd say the onion bhaji is not the best of its kind, but all the other curries/extras we've had have been very good. And they normally add a couple of complimentary poppadoms as well. We'll keep using this when we need a curry fix!

An evening with old friends. Researching Trip Advisor for a good take away, this one came up as highly recommended and it turned out to be a good choice. We order a range of common dishes Korma, Tikka Masala etc. But also ordered from the chef's specials. The LKK was a very nice dish, be sure you like your curry hot if you choose this. Although, whilst hot, it was full of flavour.

Found through just eat and ordered. Was amazed by quality & heat of food on delivery. Really tasty. Left me a menu with first orders so order direct now as slightly cheaper & more set meals on offer. Really can't recommend enough. Slightly higher prices than others but is defiantly worth it!

Quite frankly the best take-away in Lincoln, bar none.Fresh, piping hot food, in vacum-sealed containers - a first for me. Very tasty food, from extremely curteous staff on the telephone and upon delivery.No hesitation in recommending this place.

Following other reviewers advice we decided to buy our dinner here on our first visit to the city. Placed our order by phone while we sat in a comfortable wine bar, very courteous telephone manner and we were able to use our discount code for having pre-registered with Everest beforehand. We were greeted very politely at the takeaway, which must be one of the quietest, cleanest and freshest anywhere, no aroma of hot oil or ghee, a very pleasant surprise. The food stayed hot during our 10 minute walk to our lodgings and was delicious, with good sized portions and even poppadoms and chutneys were included gratis. Everest Xpress thoroughly deserves its reputation and certainly gets our top marks.

This is a truly wonderful takeaway restaurant. Clean, open kitchen, friendly staff, piping hot food and prompt. Try the Nepalese specialities as they are quite different to normal Indian dishes. Have been twice although living 10 miles away. Looking forward to my next trip.

We regularly buy from Everest and the quality of food has been consistent and as a result our meals have been very enjoyable. The spices are distinct for each dish and they don't hold back on spices. I have run a restaurant on the Isle of Wight, to acclaim, and I can say with conviction that this is by far the best Indian/nepali takeaway food I have eaten in Lincoln and part of the SE England.

I have just visited everest express. A clean and friendly premises.The meal i had was made with high quality ingredients, was very well cooked and still hot after a 10 minute walk.

The Everest Xpress make delicious food! I contacted them by email via their website to see if they could provide some Nepalese food for a presentation I was doing to raise funds for Nepal after the earthquake. Not only did they provide a delicious Dal Bhat for twenty people, but they did so incredibly graciously, in perfect time and in catering containers with the utensils to serve up with. I would recommend this fantastic little take away to anyone who likes Nepalese or Indian food and to anyone who is not quite sure, you don't know what you're missing. Thank you guys, you came up trumps last night and your delicious food was appreciated by all who attended!

This is the worst Indian takeaway we have ever had. They had clearly substituted chicken with tofu and both curries were extremely salty. Avoid this takeaway house!

We have ordered two meals from Everest Xpress and have not been disappointed once always arrives on time and piping hot. The containers they arrive in are really strong too which is an added bonus for pack ups!!!! Lol. Staff on the end of the phone also very helpful with the menu as we are not experts on Tibetan food. Try this take away you will not be disappointed.

Lincolns best takeaway and delivered food! I order from here once a month. The Ginger lamb is a winner and the naans are to brilliant. -They cook from their own tandoor also. Real decent prices too!

We were in lincoln for a night. Thought to have takeaway from high street. Found a takeaway seems standard next to KFC. Its Nepalese and Indian food. Tried chilli chicken, magic tikka, lkk, house sp karahi with rice and naan. As we were waiting even in busy time they gave priority to our order and receive 10% discount. When we went to hotel, wow!!!! What a nice packing (sealed packing) even after an hour we left the place it is still very hot. Taste of food: unbelievable, portion: large size. Price seems bit more than other street takeawsy but very cheep in comparision to the value we got. Very good value for money. Remember able trip of lincoln. Waiting to visit again.

Came across this takeaway on the internet and liked the idea of the open kitchen so decided to give it a try.The second time we've been now, and this time we had it delivered. Really unusual fusion of Indian spices and a Thai coconut flavour. We all commented how fresh the food tastes, absolutely delicious and proper freshly cooked pieces of chicken not spongy lumps you often get when establishments use frozen chicken chunks! Huge portions too and container are heat sealed so no spills and keeps hot. We have found this little gem and won't go anywhere else now. To the Everest express - you have got everything perfect so please don't make the same mistake as many places and make cutbacks and changes to save money maybe? So many places start good and go downhill so keep doing what you do please. You're the best .

what can I say I have had my fair share of food in Lincoln but this has to be the best indian in Lincoln the food was super tasted amazing and there was enough food in each curry and rice for more then 2 people , prices are so cheap staff are great.

I was staying with my family and Friends at a converted barn near Lincoln England. I understood the restaurant was outside the normal 5 mile radius most for most deliveries. I emailed the restaurant ahead of time and received a quick and positive reply. We ordered and it arrived on time, packaging was great, meals were labeled clearly and sealed so none of the usual oily stains. Food was excellent fresh and tasty. Could not find fault. Unfortunately I don't live in they area, but i would definitely recommend food from this take-away. Also a point to note they threw in a free main as a birthday gift. Excellent made the food much tastier.

Just finished eating a home delivery from Everest Express! Not had one in a while have used others uphill and makes me realise why we used to use regularly!Lamb Himali and Chicken Chilli Massala. Accompanied by Garlic Nan and Chapatis! Perfectly flavoured and spiced dishes with quality meat. Portions generous to say the least!As indicated vastly superior to its peers in the High St and uphill! Consistently good and well presented fresh food that never disappoints!!!!!

Everything appears to be cooked to order and every dish tastes completely different. I have tried most of the Indian takeaways in Lincoln but this one has to be the best. We had the set meal for four so managed to sample a good range of starters, mains and sides from the menu. There was so much food I would say it could feed 6.Everything tasted really fresh, full of flavour and was without the artificial colourings, and copious amounts of oil regularly found elsewhere. It was also nice to find items on the menu unknown to me. I presume this was the Nepalese influence. Bottom line - we will be ordering from here again and would recommend to anybody.

After ordering a meal to be delivered to my house (which didn't take long) I found a raw piece of chicken in my veggie biriani. I called to tell them this and the only thing they offered me was a replacement. I was hoping to have a refund...they did say sorry. I couldn't eat my replacement meal. I won't be going there again! Very disappointed! And upset I could of been ill from it!
