Really enjoyed the meal here. The service is prompt and staff are helpful. Would definitely go again. *UPDATE* Been here again for the second time in a year and the food and service is still excellent.

Have just moved a couple of minutes from here so it was worth a go food was plenty and delicious atmosphere was excellent the only down side was we had a coffee when we first went in eife wanted another no prob by the time we were on our mains no coffee so ordered again one for myself as well got our hot hand wraps and our mint chocolate very nice never did get our coffee such a shame because everything was excellent it will not stop me going back again

Food has always being great. Good quality chicken and they will alter the curries to suit your spice preference. Can be a bit chaotic inside but adds to the atmosphere

Awful restaurant. Crap food. Served us veg samosa which were still cold from inside. 10 out of 30 people who went there to celebrate colleague’s birthday were sickk with d&v afterwards. They have not changed at all. Their food has got no taste. There are better places than this one. We have reported them to public health.

I recently went her for a meal with friends I ordered fish special well to say I wasn't very happy is a under statement and about 3 prawns which was very chewie and not sure what the rest was but didn't taste very nice so ask to speak to manager and told him and said I don't expect to eat for nothing so agreed to pay half then to find they still charge me full price and if that wasn't bad enough ave been very sick the next morning safe to say I won't be going there again .

We really enjoy coming here and are regular visitors. You can't beat it on a Tuesday evening for value. The dishes are delicious and portions generous.

I’m not one for writing reviews, however I felt compelled to do so on this occasion. I popped in for a takeaway for me and my family and was greeted by such lovely friendly staff , they were all very nice and polite and took time to go over the menu with me and advised on the different dishes which was a great help , the restaurant was busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time as the atmosphere was great , I’ll definitely will be booking a table in the future because when I got home the food was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic food tonight! Flavours were spot on - the wife had garlic chilli chicken korma, and I had vegetable Malayan, we had a side of onion bhaji, pilau rice and peshwari naan. We both commented how nice it all was and just under £22 - bargain for the quality. My compliments to the chefs!

Didn't realise thy didn't serve wine so the guy told me where to get it from I was allowed to bring my own xxx witch was great the food was bang on thy was busy a hell but the food wasn't rushed at all it was so tasty 😋 😀 the service was bang on my guy made me laugh knowing I was in my own stay blessed 🙌 thanks 😊

We visited here as a family of 10. I didn't like food. I got prawn puree to start, and it looked and tasted like slop. I didn't eat it. This is the dish I always get when I eat out at curry restaurants. And I've never seen it like this. My curry that I ordered was tasteless. The lamb was very chewy, and very little of it in the curry. The papadums tasted stale. 6 out of the party of 10, where ill the next day. The nan bread and rice were nice. The staff were pleasant enough, and the service was good. But I will not be returning.

Had a lovely meal with family. A very rare occurrence of everyone thoroughly enjoying their food! Food was fabulous. It was a bit slow coming out, but staff did apologise and it was worth the wait. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I hadn't realised alcohol was not served so next visit will definitely bring a bottle! Only criticism would be the tables could do to be bigger to fit all the lovely food 😆

The food was very good. Service was very efficient and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Take your own alcohol or choose from soft drinks on the menu. I would have liked a alcohol free beer but they don't have any. Tuesday is a special deal night too.

Been going for years but never again due to extremely rude staff. They'd obviously forgot about us as we were waiting 2 hrs for main meal after having starter. Instead of admitting the mistake they got defensive and when I pointed out if they'd forgotten we'd just leave it as we were beyond hunger, the young waiter said "go then!" So we did and won't be back! (see David Craven-Jones' review). Found a much better Indian now anyway further up Holderness Rd with nicer food and courteous staff... much quicker service too!

We've only done take away from here but everytime it's great, the staff are polite when u go to pik ur food up

Ordered from here last night chips were dry and luke warm and keema naan was very soggy the curry was okay but no much flavour compared to the rice we ordered delivery took over an hour and the driver had a car full of passengers overall disappointed as iv heard really good reviews about this place and alway wanted to try 1st time trying and possibly my last.

Ordered takeaway after same issues previously 6 months ago. Was told send straight out we live 8 mins away as order wrong after waiting far to long,the food that was incorrect came 35mins later so all initial food cold,staff not interested at all and rude by putting phone down don't waste your time here

Nope! Food was average. The staff however were below average!! Rude! And not interested! Asked to take a full meal away as takeaway and was handed a foil tray to do it ourself 😂

Started off ok, pops and picks came along and starters followed! This was at 7pm then it got to 9pm and still no main course!! We mentioned this and they said 10mins!! We asked again and they were quite rude and said if you want you can leave so we did!! The chef pocked my friend (lady) Will not go here again so rude, if they had owned up and said we forgot you it wouldn’t of been so back but no apology

Usually really nice but tonight lamb was tough. Chicken was dry curry sauce was very greasy and not much of it. And nan bread was just about cooked very doughy.

Used to be a great restaurant now staff don't care food poor quality and no heating sat with coats on asked to take main course home because was freezing and charged 25p each for foil trays and had to do it ourselves will not return worded meal ever

Take it from a man who eats out a lot in places all over the city, this is simply the best Indian restaurant in Hull, a great experience and consistency in the high quality of the food....would highly recommend obviously.

Best in east hull really nice Currys hot or mild they are all lovely. They do the best shish kebab starters all for a good fair price and always arrives hot lovely food really can't knock the place it really is that good.

The best Indian I have ever had

Visited on 08/04/22, I wasn't expecting excellent but I was incredibly surprised, we ordered mix meat tandoori and fish masala for starters, and for mains a speciality dish..lamb Bhuna and my wife ordered a mixed Pasanda, the portion size was great and the meat was tender. it was one of the best meals out Ive had for a long time. I will be going again soon, hope the same chef will be cooking my next meal.

I cannot give it a minus like I would love to. If you have allergie forget it they ignore and don't care. Then there is the bill they overcharged . They realised I noticed and tried to take the receipt back .The food below average. You guessed it not retuning.

My wife's bday. We really enjoyed the food. It is our "go to" Indian but we generally have a take away on the Tuesday meal deal. We were a party of 4 and we all really enjoyed it. Delicious 😋 x would give it a 5 star if it only had an alcohol licence. X
