Ate here with a friend. Had lamb ribs and shish with chips which was excellent, the ribs were a bit too salty for me though. Followed by black tea and blaklava which was very nice. Atmosphere was pleasant and had a great authentic Turkish vibe, staff were friendly and very polite. Will eat here again insha’allah

I went here on Friday evening and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is new and clean and feels very authentic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken donner and chicken shish and it was extremely tasty. We were also provided with a large plate of fresh salad and warm bread to start with which was delicious. The waiter was very attentive and gave us a free Turkish tea to finish with. I will definitely go again. The only issue is the parking, however you can park on one of the side streets and walk to it. It is well worth a visit!

I have been wanting to visit Ottoman Tea Bar & Grill, but it's really busy. I drove past this restaurant on Duckworth Lane and thought I would try it out. The decor is really nice, and the service is good. We had complimentary bread, cicek and salad first, the salad and cicek was very nice, but the bread was cold and hard. Bear in mind there were only 5 other people in the restaurant at the time, I thought the bread should have been fresh. Never mind. We ordered the Bilal platter which was very nice. The chicken especially was really tasty and succulent. The donners were nice too. The lamb shish was nice, but the lamb chops and lamb ribs really lacked flavour and seasoning. I think the Bulgur needs to be improved too, but everything else was really nice. That are a new restaurant in a quiet area, but I hope that do well. I passed on my comments to the manager and will visit again.

This restaurant is an attractive little place to eat. Staff is friendly however did mess up an order of chicken doner for lamb doner however was very tasty anyway and had no real preference anyway 😂 is a little bit pricy for what you get for instance 4 quid for 4 rings of calamari is way too overpriced

My first visit to Et - Shish - been watching the restaurant emerge from the run down pub that was the former occupier of the property. The layout is simple - nothing flash or pretentious - the focus is on service and the food and it excels on both fronts. Shortly after being seated a well presented salad made up of fresh and pickled vegetables arrived - I nice way to start a meal Order a hot meze started made up of felafel , Turkish sausage ,haloumi and feta cheese rolls ( normally includes Calamari to which I have an allergy so replaced it with additional felafal . The felafal was beautiful and on par with what Ive eaten in the middle east . After a bit of reluctance , my son wolfed down the sausage . In whole the starters were very good. For the main we order a family grill. This comprised a variety of grilled meat ,donner meat served upon rice. The meat was succulent and tender - food tasted authentic - only issue was that that portion was too big but the waiter did not hesitate to pack away for us to take out. The staff was very attentive . Only issue is the lack of parking - if the parking is difficult suggest you try one of the side streets - it will be well worth the short walk to the premises. Will definatly be back.
