I booked an afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday, we were able to choose from a variety of different cakes and sandwiches and book online. There was a nice personal touch with a happy birthday sign and window seat. I had my 18 month old daughter who made quite a mess but we were treated so well and we had one to one service as the shop was opened for our booking. I would recommend this coffee shop as all food was freshly made and bake plus yummy with large variety of teas.

I was at the Essence of Cake recently . It is so well decorated you feel like you are having afternoon tea somewhere in Knights bridge. I had a sweet potato vegan pudding. It was nice and fresh . They carter for non vegans too . The owner was extremely friendly . Very clean and well organised. I will recommend this place to anyone.
