Esquires Coffee in Huntingdonshire

Order coffee and a roll so simple for a coffee shop you would have thought ,I ordered a flat white a basic coffee stood up for about 15 minutes waiting (just what you want when you’re disabled and struggling to stand) they asked was mine the 2 with coconut milk i said no they said they would bring me sauce and roll over after waiting a few minutes i went and got the sauce myself still waiting for my coffee they said that they would bring over they made me a different coffee and left it on the side to go cold so wait for another the other 3 people had eaten there food nearly drunk there drinks I was the 2nd one to go up really poor and it wasn’t that busy staff were wandering around with food asking people if it was there’s you were given a number guess they give you them but don’t use them? 1 person said if you need help ask could they not see that they didn’t have a clue what they were doing? Overpriced food poor to non-existent customer service

This is the second time we have visited Esquires in St Neots and had a less than friendly welcome. There won't be a third time; there are plenty of other coffee shops in town.

When this place opened I just thought another Coffee shop but its more then that ,its a place to meet your friends for a Coffee And Chat or Food as that's great too, the staff are friendly and always welcome you with a smile on their faces , I rarely go anywhere else now as I know I can get a Good Pot Of Tea and food at reasonably prices and there's always a friendly face to talk too.

We visited this coffee shop for the first time today and we were treated with a complete lack of hospitality or respect. We ordered two coffees and were asked if would mind having them in paper cups - It was not near closing time and every other customer in the there had lovely cups for their drinks! The guy was he served us was rude and did not careless that we chose not to stay and have a coffee. We went to the Art and Soul cafe just around the corner instead , and the staff were amazing! Avoid if you appreciate a nice customer service !

We have been several times before and the mochas and food have always been excellent. This time (Monday morning) the mochas were awful - so milky and with little taste of coffee or chocolate. Both were lukewarm. The toasted tea cake was stale and stodgy. We left the drinks and told the staff - they offered take-aways but I declined as I just wanted to go. I do not give second chances and at nearly £4 for a mocha, they should be perfect every time. Will never return again.

Been here a few times and always found staff very friendly. Food, cakes and drinks excellent. Recommend the milk shakes if you want to spoil yourself and the chicken tikka baguette is lovely!
