Esquires Coffee in Kettering

A really lovely little spot in the middle of the Newlands, that you can easily sit back with a cup of coffee and a book and watch the world go by. The coffee is truly excellent, superb quality. Not to mention the coffee cups, they are awesome. The food is tasty and filling. All the staff were excellent friendly, especially the manager, Alex. So warm and approachable. A really lovely oasis in the newlands.

Nice! Really Nice!! Enjoyed drinking the coffee and the food was really nice to eat. I look forward to doing it all again.

really nice spot to have an iced latte and flat white, food had good veggie options and my boyfriend loved the tuna melt. will definitely be returning:)

Miserable young girl serving no smile unable to make a cheese toastie as (not on the menu) she said what do you want me to do about it! Need to change puts people off going there other people commenting on her unapproachable behaviour. Salmon and cream cheese bagel 7.50 one very thin layer of salmon when Corby esquires has a good amount in not worth the £7.50 . Come on esquires your losing custom hand over fist here.

First time visit and not impressed. Young staff were aloof and quite rude. Fair do’s, my milkshake was nice and the latte my elderly Mother had was enjoyed, but the blueberry muffin was dry. Think this will be my last and only visit.

Lovely staff and really nice food & atmosphere! Always friendly and kind foods always hot and tasty and it’s good value for money!

None of the staff seemed to know what was going on. Three of them working behind the counter, but our order never came out. One of the staff would periodically wander round holding some drinks, try to find out who had ordered them and then disappear back behind the counter with them when nobody claimed them. This happened several times, including food orders, how such confusion happens when they assigned us a table number when ordering is beyond me. It took so long the person on the table opposite took pity on us and offered us a coffee that she had been given by mistake. Eventually even the entertainment of watching wrong orders being given to tables wore off and we got up and asked for a refund, had to wait for that too.
