Danny's Pizza Burgers & Kebabs in Kettering

Have used them quite a few times over the last 2 or 3 years. The food is usually ok, but they always seem to miss something off. Couple of days ago we had an order delivered. No sauces, very small chips (was supposed to be a large portion), and a very basic salad with no red cabbage, jalapeno etc. The prices have gone up drastically recently and it's simply not worth it any more. Won't use again.

They used to be ok but they've put their prices up twice within a year for what is essentially very basic low quality fast food. They've become too greedy.

Wrong order was delivered, tried to see if they would ring delivery driver as just left, no told to take order and would re deliver our correct order, all food was oily and not very nice, I sadly wouldn't recommend 😕

Got the order wrong then when rang up said would re deliver food woth correct ordee. An hr later no food rang again and they said the order was correct. Had it as online order so had proof it was wrong. No food re delivered and now first order gone cold and not eaten as was waironf for new order. Will never order again. Was rude when rang back, and said nothing they could do.

always something missing normally the pitta for the chefs special this time fries.worst chicken meat full of fat and also a bone.think you need to raise this with your supplier

I order nearly every week and every week I’m more than impressed. The restaurant is distanced quite far from me, yet everytime it arrives it tastes and feels fresh out the oven. Cannot express how tasty the food is and how nice the service is. 10/10 -L

Ordered a big order for me and my family that were visiting. They missed something off of my order which I called them straight away and they told me that they would send it out. Over an hour went by and I heard nothing so I called back and was told they’ve shut now they said they will bring it another time. That is just not acceptable. Claimed they had tried to call me but had no missed calls and also have a ring door bell and know they didn’t turn up. Will never order again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND They don't even deserve 1 star. First order turned up stone cold and the second one was soggy and disgusting which is very much like their customer service, will never be ordering from here again.

Waited nearly 2 hours for food that was barely warm. The garlic bread was just bread and lacked any flavour.

As a regular of Danny's I wouldn't normally complain for a one off mistake. However after contacting them with the issue was told their food is always cooked fresh and refused to offer a refund for the over cooked fries. There was no potato, and crumbled when bitten into. The ones that were slightly less well done were full of oil and all of them tasted horrible. Won't be returning after this experience. (Maybe now I'll be able to lose some weight)

Your pizza is not good and it tastes like you adres alot of salt and your garlic saurce tastes like tooth past Thank you ile never come back

Have used Danny's quite a few times and it was really good, however the last pizza I got from them was really poor. The delivery took longer than they said and when I finally received it the pizza was virtually burnt and had clearly been sat around for a long time before being delivered. It was not pleasant to eat whatsoever but I was so hungry by the time it arrived I just ate it (had been waiting nearly two hours). They actually emailed to ask me for a review afterwards so I stated this to them but got no response at all so I'm writing it here now. It's a real shame because they were really good before, hence me giving three stars rather than just one (would have been 5 stars before but the last one was only worth 1).

Worst kebab wrap ever, no taste in it, only two pieces of chicken inside and rest of it salad.

Always preferred Danny's, kebabs and burgers were fab. Noticed 'were' Now sadly they've gone completely down hill. Burgers are like the ones you microwave. The salad you'd get is soggy, and yhe pittas are like cardboard. Last couple of times they got simple orders wrong. Most recent asked for a half pounder with onions. It turned up with cheese and all salad. But looks like it was made a day ago. Had to wait 25mins for a replacement, and yes it did only have onions, the pic speaks for itself. Sadly will be the last time we'll be ordering from there.

I've had a few kebabs in my time and this one is up there with some of the best. If you're looking for the best local takeaway then look no further.

Its a good takeaway, Food always nice - although very greasy (Which is expected for takeaway, but not on this level.) For people with an intolerance to too much oil : this place isn't for you. Service is alright, Staff sweet but if you order delivery they nearly always get your order wrong. Asked for a plain burger, got a cheeseburger with pickles. If you have a younger child, (im not sure if they still do this) and you order in person, They'll give them a lolly. The atmosphere is very nice, you can see the meat being cooked - and the smell is even better. Solid 4/5.

Ordered on Uber Eats discount didn't go threw. Was told they would cancel and would refund. So reordered but never recieved refund. So I've changed my review

They miss items from my order, not adding extras that I pay for and very late delivery on Saturdays... over an hour late from the ETA. No apology when called up to ask where it is. Also charged me twice for same order through uber eats and still haven't managed to get a refund 😔

4 pieces of chicken in a tiny piece of bread and literally a small handful of cabbage! Very annoyed

Was a loyal customer spending a lot of money each month and the customer service is so bad I will no longer use them. Just a bit of advice …. Look after your loyal customers as you have just lost this one

Always fantastic food, cooked fresh, and delivery drivers extremely friendly. Please give them tips. I couldn't recommend highly enough! Burgers, kofte kebab and pizzas particularly delicious 😋

Honestly ---2h delivery! This is a joke and just not acceptable.

Wow absolutely disgraceful, get told it will be an hour, ring 3 times and food comes 2 hours and 30 minutes later, food arrives wrong and not even hot, missing items and they won’t even refund you! and yet think it’s acceptable to send food out that late and not even think to contact us to tell us! Absolute joke

Last time I order from Danny's..Food came cold, burger buns were like plastic. Spend your money at Best kebab and pizza instead. I think they are linked anyway.

ok food but delivery always been bad. These days it's much worse. If they say an hour add at least another. Really is dreadful delivery service. Waited 2 hrs on a Monday night. Monday!

Order is always wrong don't get me wrong it's nice food but its always like there in a rush and forget sauces and salad all the time ... learn how to read and pay attention..... last time I will be ordering I'm sick of it.....

Food bland,not great quality pizzas,

I ordered 3 of 12 inch pizzas at 6pm. The restaurant took 3 hours and 30 minutes to have this cooked and delivered. By the time we are all falling asleep and ready for bed, the pizzas arrived at 9:35pm. This happened 19 of July 2022. I never tasted pizzas so bland. Imagine waiting 3 hours and 30 minutes for food that was rubbish!

The food and people in the shop were really kind ans nice. The food was amazing and really delicious. Only thing that made it awful was the delivery man sat outside taking videos of me and my friends after a night out. It made us all feel so uncomfortable and scared, won't be going there again due to him.

Just had a half pounder chicken burger with chips and hot wings from'em. I was told it'll be readybin 15 mins. Went back a bit earlier and it was done. Just finished it, it was delicious. Hot wings were not too hot, but tasty, chips felt fresh and the burger... well it was missing the mayo, but meh, was tasty without that anyways. Only thing I don't get is why there is a "Face mask required" board inside the store if I was the only customer wearing one (nothing like I wanted to, but because of the board said so)... oh well, I'm not from around anyways.

Worst meal ever, and not for the first time either. Decided to give them another chance as not ordered from them for a while….will never order from them again. Food greasy and over cooked despite asking for fresh chips, burger was burnt and just overall plain disgusting. Called to complain and get a refund to be spoken to by a rude member of staff, who disputed the food being eaten (how do you know it’s disgusting if you don’t have some of it). If I could give a minus I would. Can’t fault the delivery driver though, really nice and not his fault. How they are still in business and people like their food is beyond me!!!

Superb food, friendly staff and always great service. My son & I go in to pick up our orders, always ready on time and piping hot. Can't fault them!

Last few occasions, food has arrived an hour late or with missing items. This time it is burnt too. Guess they've overstretched themselves with the amount of takeaway orders coming in. Worth noting before you order with them.

If I could give zero stars I would! Ordered pizza over the phone at 4.30pm for delivery. At 5.30pm it hadn't arrived so phoned to chase. Was told that the order was written down but they had forgotten about it and would get it with us ASAP. Pizza arrived quite quickly after but was totally the wrong order. Wrong toppings and smaller sizes than ordered and paid for. I phoned again - they said they would get the proper order to us within half an hour. I explained that I had 2 young children who were expecting dinner at 5pm and it was now past 6pm so could it be done ASAP. Was told they would get it to me as soon as possible within half an hour. 40 minutes later, nothing arrived. By which point I've cooked the kids a quick meal so they are disappointed having been promised a takeaway treat. And I'm disappointed having had to cook when I wanted a night off! Phoned to be told it had just left. Bare in mind we are a 2 minute drive from the shop. 10 minutes later, still not arrived. Phoned again by which point it is kids bedtime. Asked for a refund as 2.5hrs later the correct food still isn't with us. Told they would have to bring cash down as no one in the store knows how to process a refund on their card machine!? I said as a gesture of good will they should give us the food which now apparently hadn't left but was sat on the side waiting AND a refund. Was told the manager had already left with the cash. It took him 25 minutes to reach us (2mins away). Appalling service and having used this shop for years I am so disappointed. Will never use again!

Food was late, the chips were missing and the rest of the food was not hot when arrived. Phoned and they were reluctant to issue a refund offering a redelivery which we could not accept as would be too late, then eventually they agreed to refund the missing food but would not offer any discount on the cold food. Very disappointing. Please note that the delivery driver apologised profusely when made to deliver us a refund (we paid online so expected the refund to be issued to the card not cash via the driver) this was not his fault we have no issuesat all with his service, the people on the phone were unhelpful, they should not have website, app and phone ordering if they cannot keep track of all of the orders and ensure that they deliver on time and to a good standard. I hope that they do not try and blame the driver or make him lose money over this.

Ordered food. 19.47 waited 2hours for it to arrive when it arrived after ringing them 11 times the food turned up mine and my wife’s food got thrown in the bin as it was disgusting I wouldn’t give it to my dog burger buns was all soggy food burnt pizza burnt they put salad in food that we didn’t order it was stone cold I rang back to complain about how disgusting it was and the offered a burger again but I declined the rubbish food plus wouldn’t know how long you we would have to wait for it to arrive again all they could say on the phone was sorry they will lose a lot of custom will never be ordering from them again

Absolutely disgusting. After waiting for an hour and a half for our food. I called to check on the delivery. The girl hung up on me. Tried calling back but the phone was engaged. Food eventually arrived, over 2 hours late, it was cold and burnt, I was unable to eat mine. I called back to complain but after calling a further 22 times, with no avail. I thought this might get their attention. If I could give 0 feedback I could. But looking at the rest of the review's doesn't seem like they care

Amazing service always on time with deliveries if they are really busy they are honest with times too the staff in the shop can have a good laugh with you as well

Just had a delivery from Danny's and enjoyed kebabs and a pizza couldn't fault it, food cooked to perfection with fresh salad and plenty of it. As a regular takeaway family and quite new in Rothwell I can't believe our luck with the quality of food available here. Danny's will be top of my list in the future. Tim

When food got to me it was cold and have to say one of the worst pizza I have had coleslaw had to flavour just mush had 2 slices the rest went in the bin will not be ordering again

Dannys has a broad range of items on its menu, all cooked fresh to order at a reasonable price. They have a speedy delivery service and all the staff are warm and welcoming with friendly smiles. This is a takeaway restaurant only and doesn't have a w.c available to the public. The enterance is not wheelchair friendly however there is always someone on hand to help if you have trouble with the steps into the shop.

I used to work there as a pizza delivery about ten years ago and it was excellent time, i can see from the photos, that all crew is different, but i had extremely nice time back then. Everything was fresh, and just good. I was always on time, i had no undelivered pizza during my time there :)) This was perfect time for me. Pawel aKa Paul. All the best for those days owner - Jeff. Food arrived 30 minutes late (Ordered 7:30, came at 8:55).Burger didn't even come with salad just slapped a burger in a bun and the pizza smaller than my will to live.

2 hour and 20 min wait for food to be delivered

Ordered a chicken kebab at 19:54pm through just eat and didn't receive our food until 22:17pm. I tried phoning over 20 times from 20:45pm onwards with no success of getting through. When it finally turned up after we had made ourselves some food at home, the bloody kebab was cold through. What annoys me the most is I paid £2.50 for this delivery service. Never will i order from this place again.

Won’t be purchasing from here again! Such a shoddy service so much background noise on the phone Ordered 2 pizzas recieved one so called them and explained and they were helpful mistakes happen, Sent me 2 fresh pizzas THEN the delivery driver only gave me one and charged me £5.75! And told me that he would make the “second” pizza disappear because it was a mistake!! £17 for total joke service!! Fuming.

Always buy from Danny's rather than Dominoes and Pizza Hut now as it is much fresher and great for the price. Always buy a pizza on a Saturday from there, very quick at making them too!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The wrong pizza was sent to me, after calling the store and asking for a replacement, the staff proceeded to tell me to shutup and that it wasn’t their problem. My other half went into the store and requested a refund after the poor customer service we received and they refused to replace the pizza or refund my money. They also refused to give me my receipt, and printed out the receipt for someone with a different address, name and order, and continued to be rude to us. I left with no pizza, and no refund. Absolutely disgusting. I will never go back there again.

Decided on pizza from Danny's, however worst pizza ever! Tasteless, lukewarm, and very little toppings. Will never order from there again. Overall, very disappointed.
