Esquires Coffee in Basildon

The best coffee and best customer service. Bought a small hot chocolate for my 6 year old and the gentleman making it was thoughtful enough to put some cold milk in it so it was wasn't too hot for her to drink. Much appreciated, thankyou

Absolutely love this coffee shop. The staff are extremely friendly and polite and will always chat to you whilst you are ordering. Me and my husband come in every Saturday for a Cortado and a Latte and will sometimes get some toast or Carrot Cake. The best coffee I have ever had. Would highly recommend

Lovely people i come in and get a coffee every morning. Hands down the best coffee i have ever had. And i love how consistent they are. Its always the exact same coffee every day. Karen is a very kind hearted person. I recommend: ask for “jacks lattè” they will know what your asking about

On 19/02/24 at 11.20am I ordered BBQ chicken panini and latte at Esquires Coffee House Basildon. I was served a hard rock grilled baguette with plain chicken and BB sauce by the waitress. The Baguette was so hard that I couldn't cut up with the knife nor bite into it. I complained to the cashier that there was a difference between Panini and the Baguette. I requested for a refund from the Owner. I left the Esquires Coffee House feeling hungry, no lunch, disgusted and disappointed. The experience I had would be the first and the last visit at Esquires Coffee House, Basildon, Essex.

Good coffee, good range of light bites and amazing staff

Friendly and very quick personal service. Lovely position in the Eastgate Shopping centre, comfortable seating and great to be in the centre with people to chat to. Range iof ovely cakes and snacks.

While consuming my meal an abnormally large boy named Aston attempted to penetrate my pants with his hand. I batted it away and asked him what on earth the was thinking, he responded ‘it’s not that deep’ and attempted to do it again this time more aggressively. I then delivered a swift bop on the nose with my newspaper in self defense. He then collapsed on the floor crying. I hope mr esquire will take this seriously and release this boy from his duties immediately.

Totally love this place. I have nothing to complain about. Coffee shop run by a wonderful family. They don't mind staying extra 30 minutes after their closing time. Always greeting me with a smile. It's just good place to sit down and relax. Tables are ALWAYS clean. I'm giving this place nothing but 5 stars. Edited : I forgot to mention.. ask Ocean to do some coffee art.

Service poor. They didn't know what the advertised "deli of the day" was and offered a bacon sandwich as the special. That turned out to be best described as mediocre and the tired rocket garnish unnecessary. The mocha was luke warm. Not a pleasurable experience.

Convenient. Coffee ok but not as good as proper barista coffee bars, as it's from a commercial pod type machine I think.

I’ve been coming here for years and I have to say it’s the best coffee house in Basildon town centre. Friendly staff, excellent service and great coffee. I always get a hazelnut hot choc with cream on top 😍 it’s so lovely and a really nice place to sit and relax. I wish I could give 100 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My favourite coffee shop in Basildon - miles better than Starbucks, and better even than Costa. The drinks are much more reasonably priced, and the owners/staff are friendly and chatty whenever we visit.

Some of the best milkshakes I've tasted. Fantastic service also.
