Mo the bar person was lovely and helpful.

Far to busy , wouldn't go again

Used terminal 2 escape many times staff great & helpful. Terminal 1 Staff were unhappy, like they did not want to be there. Reception was not great when we arrived , however next shift was better.

Kind, friendly staff - Alison, Justine and Dorota have been great!!

Comparing this to the Aspire lounge directly opposite I would say the food here is better! There are full size plates for food (breakfast was very good!) and bottles/cans of beer in the fridge too so not having to qué for bar if you just want to grab a beer. It was very busy though and there are no views (not that it matters for business use)...The aspire opposite is usually quieter with better views but the food selection is poor, they only offer small plates and you have to wait at bar to get a beer...funnily enough the first time I visited this lounge I explained to the lady on front desk that I usually go to the Aspire because it's the first you come to - her reaction was "They have better views, we have better food" 😂 - and that suns it up perfectly! If you want a good fill go here!

Fab! Our flight time had changed! Justine and Alison two lovely ladies to welcome us but jnderstood we were a little bit early and would be leaving earlier. Fantastic service! With a gorgeous smile on their faces early morning! See you next time...thank you again xx

Very good , great breakfast , great bar staff , I use the airport a lot , the best lounge at Manchester airport . 👍👍

I feel that those visiting in the morning, when breakfast is severed, will leave with a better satisfaction than those visiting in the afternoon. Photos of breakfast look fantastic, but lunch is poor. Mediocre curry and rice alongside dry sandwiches and salad. The lack of windows makes the room feel enclosed and claustrophobic. Staff generally friendly and quick to clean. I was invited to sit at a solo chair behind reception, which are the same chairs found in care homes, I would rather not. Cheap alcohol, no full fat coke on draft. WiFi is available, but it’s slower than the airports own free WiFi, during my visit on a less busy period, download was just 4mbps and upload 5mbps. Wouldn’t pay the extra to visit again.

Nice and cozy! We had breakfast here. Nice english breakfast with pork sausage, bacon, croissant, egg scramble, museli etc. A bar was manned by Mo, extremely friendly and good natured. Screens all around! Nice place to spend time!

Food rubbish , gnats everywhere, everyone crammed in on uncomfortable old hotel lobby furniture save your money and go to WHSmith

Premium? Tired crockery, dried up scrambled egg; 25 min wait for 2 vegetarian sausages; Child sized cutlery only. Lots of little flies (which I’ve noted in other reviews). Only 2 women’s toilets, resulting in substantial queues and not even at a very busy time. I note that the responses from management to the poorer reviews don’t offer any actions to address specific repeat issues - just a general ‘thanks for your feedback’ response. It would be good to hear what you’re doing to improve toilets, problem with flies etc. Really disappointed.

Fabulous service from Mo. However be aware if you book the parking, fast track and lounge option that you cannot book into the lounge until 1 hour after the parking even though it only took us 15 minutes from parking to lounge we had to wait outside the lounge for 45 minutes.

Booked in advance which is always advisable, been before to this place, can get packed at certain times, nice place, clean , could do with more staff at busy times

I booked this lounge from Manchester and was pretty disappointed I was on my own and was directed to seats which were under the air-conditioning so it was freezing food was not that good a waste of money

Excellent service from the minute we entered Escape lounge. Welcoming greeting from Charlie, Jagoda was so helpful and looked after me with my Gluten allergy. She really went above and beyond in helping me. Lastly Darrio on the Bar who was so efficient and served us each time with a smile. Lady on reception lovely (Christine) Bar staff miserable. Food selection poor - only hot food was potatoes, pasta and chicken drumsticks Decor needs a lick of paint. Dirty marks all across the walls. Little flies everywhere. Marginally better than sitting in T1 Would choose a different lounge next time.

Food was bland and dishes rarely topped up.

I am modifying my review since my American Express has received a charge of €60 when we were never informed. Besides, both my husband and I are Priority Pass members, therefore, I do not understand this unjustified charge and, furthermore, unauthorized since we were not even informed of it.

For what we paid it was ok. Plenty of sandwich selection and hot food selection. Downside for me was gin and tonic served in a warm glass and minimal ice 🙄 but compared to what we would have paid in the airport bars for similar I would definitely visit again!

The food is not the best part of using the Escape Lounge, having somewhere quiet to sit is the highlight.

I like this lounge. I never had any trouble getting in with my Priority Pass — it's a great way to kill a couple of hours before my jet2 flight. They got some food that's not bad, soda, plenty of drinks, fast Internet. It's also cozy and nice to sit around. I tried a few other lounges in Manchester T1 and this is my favorite one.

Taller tables please. It’s difficult to eat if you are seated with a low coffee table. Other than that staff nice and friendly, self serve but staff are quick to clear up.

What an amazing experience! Charlie the receptionists was very polite and helpful. Everytime we fly from Manchester we will definitely be booking the airport lounge. Excited to come back and we haven’t even left yet! :-)

1903 Lounge unprecedented customer care, a lovely start to my holiday. Attention from staff was amazing which meant a lot to me as I was travelling alone.First time using the lounge but definitely not my last. Excellent food and comfort. Highly recommend

T1 - Bar service to get drinks and usually queuing. Bar tender was miserable and most times was the only one! Food average on selection and variety (bread was poor size rolls and previously frozen not fresh). Chairs are also not the comfiest. Toilets in the area of the lounges (they share) are terrible in T1. 2 ladies and 1 had a broken lock! Shocking for today’s volumes going through this area.

Visited the Escape Lounge in T1 on my way to a business event in Austria. It's clean and tidy, the staff are efficient and courteous and there's a decent selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast. The bar seems well stocked as I saw lots of Prosecco being served and consumed, I stuck with the coffee - having a beer/wine at 7am on a school day with meetings to attend isn't really my thing! There's lots of spaces to sit to eat and/or work but if you need to plug in and charge, you're best finding a table with a socket before you sit down. There were some, but away from the main area in front of the bar and in the far end of the room. This is good if you want to be away from the clutter and noise as kids are allowed in this lounge and could get noisy on occasion. The only thing letting it down is that there's no views outside, so it can feel a little bit claustrophobic at times.

It was absolutely amazing and well worth the money. The food was perfect, the drinks were great and very plentiful. We were able to spend a full 3 hours in there and were able to eat and drink as much as we wanted for the whole 3 hours.

Great barman, food good with a great selection. Better than some major airline lounges! But small with limited plug sockets for charging mobiles & laptops etc

Refused entry with priority pass, saying they only take priority pass from 10am which is absolutely stupid since its an airport! People fly at different times, why would there be a time restriction? It appears they class frequent flyers at the bottom of the priority. Been in before, nothing special considering the attitude.

Lovely staff and food was hot and delicious. The lounge was very clean and we had a great time.

overall very good. Big problem was looking over a large table with six people on it. having to say excuse me can I look at the departure gate screen. both screens are situated like this. obviously hasn't been thought through properly. food was very good quality but bacon wasn't very warm. going to aspire lounge next year hopefully a lot better design than the escape.

The lounge was very nice with lovely chicken. However, I’d like to highlight the service of Malvin at the bar who was extremely courteous, helpful and delivered customer service to an excellent standard. Kudos to him! A lovely way to start our holiday.

Absolutely incredible service really cannot praise the staff in Escape enough. Reception staff incredible and Arek went over and above to ensure we were able to get sit with our friends who were in the virtual queue to get in. Food was really very good much better than expected and range of drinks was very good too. Staffing really exceptional though which makes such a difference.

Lovely. Nice and quiet lounge. Small food selection for breakfast but that’s expected at every lounge. Staff are very kind and helpful. Would definitely use this lounge again.

Reena was very welcoming and an excellent hostess. Buffet style food and drink all really good value and quality. Usually we go for food at San Carlo or another restaurant on site and this was much better value for money, comfortable and excellent service.

Lovely experience very relaxing way to start my hols

Was booked into Escape Lounge but moved to 1903 lounge which is self service which is fine but there is a lack of staff to clear/clean dirty tables and nowhere for you to clear your own They need a designated place for you to put your dirty plates, glasses etc. Other than that it's fine.

Absolute dive, filthy, not enough TOILETS. Full of flies all over the food. They actually were reusing the beer glasses, this is ILLEGAL because it can contaminate the pump. Don't bother!

Nice couple of hours spent there. Some of the clothes worn in there leave little to the imagination Food was OK. Replenished frequently Barman was very attentive and kept me supplied with red wine. Thank you

No windows which was a bit depressing and gloomy. Not a great of variety drinks, only one option for everything, prosecco is on tap and was flat.

A lounge at the International terminal that close at 6pm. Unbelievable
