Ignore those negative reviews - this tiny pizza place is perfect. It produces absolutely delicious thin crust pizzas from a limited menu .Weneeded to take some home so perhaps one between two if you’re not a big eater. We shared a really fresh, vibrant salad - vaguely caeserish - and it’s byob ( with of course a small corkage charge) Music was loud but fun; decor shabby chic and staff were chatty, pleasant and attentive. You need to book. Go for the best pizza in Glasgow!

Came into this place and loved it initially. Pizza was ace and their food is great. For a late Valentine’s I thought this place had really been a great decision. Unfortunately, when going up to pay, we were ridiculed for not providing a tip. I get it, tips are incredibly helpful and important for the hospitality industry. But considering this isn’t something that we do often, every penny counts for us. Paired with the fact that each pizza we got cost us £16, it’s understandable that with the bill that we were faced with we didn’t feel the need to pay for one. It’s a shame that post paying our full bill that we were met with the comment of ‘thanks so much for your tip guys, really appreciate it’, belittling both myself and my girlfriend. For this reason we won’t be coming back, despite initially intending on doing so.

Ignore all the reviews about being refused takeaway/not getting in. They’re a small independent kitchen with one oven and a small amount of tables, it’s explained on their social media 😃 The pizza is absolutely incredible and by far the best I’ve tried in Glasgow! The service for us was great. They kept checking in on us as the wait was a little longer than usual, which we were totally fine with as we know it’s a small kitchen. Even offered us snacks while we waited. Will 100% be back! 👌🏻

Drove half an hour with friend as looking to try new pizza place. Disappointed when told there was no takeaway, which the unfortunate looking, moustached waiter told us upon arrival. He looked over the moon at turning us away. He shook his head at us as we politely left as we had hoped to pick up food for family to eat at home. Multiple pictures on their social media of takeout boxes. Despite progressive wall art the restaurant made us feel unwelcome. I see we are not the only people to comment on this member of staff.

As always I give an honest and true reflection of my visit to any hotel, restaurant, tour etc I visited Errol’s after hearing great things about it through Instagram and word of mouth. However after reading some Reviews on trip advisor I was more skeptical! Mixed reviews on here with an emphasis on staff! My visit to Errol’s one Friday evening was nothing short of positive ! Staff were EXTREMELY helpful, polite, chilled out, very chatty without being intrusive ! Two member of staff on front of house who described menu in detail and advised for what pizza too try! Started with a burrata which was really good :) wholesome, homemade and served with a tasty tomato sauce dip! We opted for a sausage pizza and also a salami! Pizzas are very big and crusty which is good as they differ from the soft, moist pizzas served at Paesano, pizza punks etc Honestly the staff were great and the pizzas were really good! BYOB was great too and staff were only too helpful to provide cold glasses, water etc Place is cool different and plays an eclectic mix of music which is refreshing to hear !! Classic New York 80s to deep purple ! I’ve visited a place in New York called Johns Pizza, Errol’s is similar. No Airs or graces it’s cool, vibey and suits all walks of life. It filled up at 5.15 so get here early. Last reviews I’ve read are totally unfair to the staff. It’s not a high end classic Italian restaurant…it’s something different and cool and away from the “polished” fake pizza places covering Glasgow and around! It’s cool with great pizzas and friendly staff

The pizza is burned all around the edges. This is not 'rustic' or 'traditional'. It's just burnt pizza. The staff are as described below. Don't really want to be in the service industry but their hipster ethos means they don't want to 'work for the man' either. The upshot is to open a cheap and nasty fast food store and sneer at their customers. Horrible place.

Pizza was amazing staff was so rude had such an attitude as if it was horrific that people just thought they could walk in and ask for a table . This man must have though he had the best pizza shop in the whole wide world and was shocked when multiple people thought they could just ask for a table giving a full explanation about how this is a restaurant. Well so if Kfc mate and I’ve had better service there :)) The manager was very unpleasant and made myself and my embarrassed when we wanted to sit in as if we were a big hassle them, they also charged us for bringing in our own drinks this has never happened to me before ever. I won’t be back due to his poor attitude which made the atmosphere of the place horrible to be in. I think it is terrible how such arrogance can come from the manager of a tinny pizza shop in Vicky road, he was giving posh west men hipster vibes who loved the cheap rent of the south side. Thank god the south side is becoming the new west end because it’s the only reason this man is allowed to get away with speaking to people the way he does. His shop wouldn’t last two mins in the east end with him in it

I have eaten here once before and the pizza was distinctly average. On this trip we were greeted by a sneering host with the most aggressive, belligerent and arrogant attitude ever. Presumably the owner because any employee who spoke to customers as badly as this would be fired immediately. Said person told us we were rude for politely asking how much longer pizza would be after an hour long wait. I have no idea why a quality wood fired pizza would take more than 5 minutes to cook. Anyway, after an argument more heated than their food with this unsavoury, vile-tempered purveyor of alright-ish food we left hungry and will happily tell anyone who asks NOT to go this place. It will leave you with a simultaneously empty stomach and bitter aftertaste.

I am a fellow survivor of Errol’s Hot Pizza. I have tried 3 times to get a takeaway pizza here, each time being told that it would’t be possible. On my most recent visit I experienced the rudeness and sarcasm described by my fellow one-star reviewers. Don’t give your money to the unsavoury - go elsewhere. No pizza could possibly be worth the hassle.

The pizza is really good (if you can get in), but the attitude and behaviour of the staff is appalling and we will never be back. Rude, arrogant, aggressive, entitled and with absolutely no sense of customer service. I’ve never experienced anything like this. They really do seem to believe that they are doing you a favour by “allowing” you into their establishment. My friends had been previously and experienced a very insensitive and downright rude comment by the manager, but had decided to give it another chance. Never again. Avoid at all costs and go elsewhere. Shocking and so not cool.

So aye, a guy came into the shop last night n nipped out after ordering a sausage supper n two pickles, but he never came back... Yeah, that was me. Yeah £9 for a sausage supper n 2 pickles is wild man... I went out to the car cause I needed another quid but a wee voice in ma head says "DRIVE AWAY" Sorry man but not only was the food expensive but it looked humdingin... The sausages were in a portion container, in the counter heater.. Nothing else available.. just those two sausages in the cardboard tub looking like late night leftovers... Chips looked grim too.. pure bricks. The pickles seemed to be the most appetising part of it all, but £9? 😂 Mental.. ****Maxims in Dalmuir 👌 went and ordered the same there and they asked for only £6.60... food was bangin too.. Bet they were only open at 9:30pm cause that Paul guy was like: "right hen, ye can go up the road as soon as a sell these two sausages, somebody must want thum" ..she was dead nice aswell so I feel kinda bad for takin the hit n miss (hence the 3 stars for customer service) but it's gotta be said.. That Paul guy blasts his movies quite loud behind you on a some wee telly n I thought he was staring into ma soul but realised he was just tuned inty the telly.. I asked "Is there much ready?" N he was like "Aye" but theres nothing in the heater.. am thinking "if he whips oot just two random steak pies fae under the counter am gonna fold err laughin" But he's like "av got sausages" like he had an insane abundance of variety.. Bad vibes man 👎
