We had dinner recently at Empire Empire, which is a relatively recently opened restaurant in Notting Hill and part of the Gunpowder group. The menu is mainly northern indian with a few modern twists. The food is a hit and miss experience; the prawn amritsari pakoras and the king prawns kadhai masala were both very good, the lamb chops were fine but not anything special. The butter chicken and paneer makhani were quite bland; there was a mixed verdict from our group on the kale patta chaat. Also worth noting that the naan are quite small. Overall, we had a good meal, but this was mainly due to the hard work of the manager (who appeared to be running a solo show); we had a go on the jukebox which was fun. So, 3 stars for the food plus one for the staff!

Best Indian I’ve had yet in London. 😍 Love everything especially the kale starter, butter chicken, fish tiki, and must get the cheesecake dessert

A lovely Indian restaurant- cosy and authentic I would rate everything a 10/10 - my faves were the chicken tikka. Seek kebab, butter chicken, saag gosht, lamb biryani. Maybe less spring onion on raiita and a bit of pomegranate and I’d order another two. Drinks fab. Everything fab even though when it’s a full service they do need an extra staff as the two were very good but just managing. This is my fave new local!

Absolutely phenomenal Indian food with quirky but fun atmosphere. Service is outstanding and the food really is some of the best Indian I've had in London. Nothing over the top fancy; just good, solid flavors, fresh ingredients and high-quality cuts of meat. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. You'll thank me.

Nice new restaurant on All Saints Road, delicious Indian food and attentive service in a nice restaurant with a good vibe. We had a great time and will be back. (Recommend the lobster biryani and butter chicken- side of okra, excellent!)

I visited wraps and wings for the first time and quite frankly was amazed! The decor is pretty much your standard modern burger joint going for the modern rustic look which works perfectly well. We ordered 3 portions of wings (5wings in a portion): Gochujang, Tai Pai and the BBQ Caribbean Jerk. We also ordered the Cheesy Chips and Garlic Butter fries topped with Parmesan Cheese. This all came to approximately £14.50 which was a good price considering the vast amount of food we ordered. After ordering the service was astonishingly quick as we only waited 10 mins for our food! All 3 wings had a lovely, generous coating of sauce which stuck to the batter/skin very nicely. However, one small improvement that would need to be made is to make the batter/skin of the wings a little bit crispy just to give a contrast to the soft, juicy, succulent meat. The Tai Pai wing is a homage to the Chinese sweet and sour chicken, the lovely thing about the flavour of the sauce is that it is not overpoweringly sweet which for me is a big let down but the balance was just right! The Gochujang wings were my favourite as it is spicy but not as spicy as one would think due to the acute sweet taste the sauce has. The spice gives the wing a nice kick to it, I would like to think of this wing as a spicy BBQ wing that is red! Lastly the BBQ Caribbean Jerk, this was nice but was predominantly your standard BBQ wing which was lovely nonetheless. The fries - the garlic butter fries were delicious as they were fried twice and had lashings of Parmesan cheese which tasted great along side the warm garlic flavour giving it a pleasant tangy flavour. The Cheesy chips were covered bountifully in cheese which was nicely melted and spread across all the chips which was great as the warmth of the freshly melted cheese warmed us up as it was very cold in the house! Overall taking the service, pricing, quality of food and portion size in to consideration I will have to give Wraps and Wings a 8/10. Great speedy service, delicious food and you really do get your money's worth! I will be back Wraps and Wings for your Gochujang wings!!

I had the breakfast today and had the choice between a tea or a drink. I chose the tea. Which was terrible.. I then asked can I swap this for water as the tea looked green... the staff was rude and said no. Its not hard to be nice. Small things like that make me not want to spend my money in there ever again. Food is average and sausage undercooked. I will not be coming back.
