Pizzas cooked perfectly but lacked slightly in toppings spent over £25 and didn’t get a free bottle of pop but got a free extra bag of chips which we won’t eat because we got the cheeky Tuesday discount but I made sure the discount still totalled over £25 after discount 😪 wrong can of pop got zero instead of diet other than that I will be ordering again! Loved the food! Get delivery deffo recommend! Thank you!

Ordered multiple times from Elton Road Fish and Chips, and the food has always been great. The fish always fresh and we love the Elton Road kebab; chilly cheese nuggets are a delight, perfect with chips and curry! Delivery was very fast and great delivery driver! Keep it up guys 😊

Ordered a large kebab mix that comes with three meats, salad, sauces, chips, naan bread in a tray- didn’t come in a tray- no salad, no sauces, only two meats included, no chips

Ordered a fish and the guy went in the kitchen and came back and served three different customers. He then went back in the kitchen and returned with my fish and started cooking it. I was in there for at least ten minutes before he even put it on. The fish was first class but I thought he would have put it on straight away

Food was cold and greasy, missed things off order and had to ring to find out why

So me and my family was hungry and so ordered from this chippy everything was fine the payment was accepted and so we waited eagerly to taste our food, after a bit of a wait it’s says something went wrong and that the chippy has now closed and so they sent us the money back even tho the order was placed and they initially took the money, just saying if ur chippy is closing don’t accept orders because then the kids get excited and ready for what? Nothing waste of waiting and hungrier kids now, definitely need to look at there online orders scheme and if they can’t be bothered to stay open till close then don’t act like there going to then don’t, overall it’s ruined my holiday

Enjoyed everything I got, especially the garlic bread. Sadly no chips arrived with the order.

Randomly closes without warning. Prices gone up and size gone down. Takes money from online orders when it isn't open ...... Risk it if you want but make sure you have the money to go somewhere else as you'll have no money and it'll be shut, again.

This place has gone down hill. Over priced and food is garbage. Fish isn’t great the pies are dry and kids meals are the worst

I just ordered on Uber eat the chicken and mushroom pie was nice The small mix kebab I threw in the bin no salad no taste I had high hopes for this shop but now I will black list it very disappointed 😞

We have cod and chips! I didn't mind waiting for the fish to be cooked fresh! The chips were cooked fresh too! BUT! The fish what there was of it was ok and some of the batter was crispy! BUT! There wasn't much fish for £5.20! Each 'small' portion of chips could have fed a family of 4! They needed to be cooked a few mins more! The quality of the chips were poor with 10% totally inedible! Wrapped far too tight so they were all squashed together! More quality less quantity! So 10 out of 10 for effort but 1 out of 10 for end quality!

I always order from elton road fish bar, always lovely food and great service. Even today, although there was a mistake with my order, they put it right quickly, which was much appreciated on day 10 of our isolation. 5*s from us.

I’ve never had a chip shop first time ordering the home made fish cake well tasted so bland and sweet for some reason. Took one bite two fish cakes in the bin , chips and gravy went straight in the bin after 4 of us tasted it n no one wanted it. Onion rings well the pound bags from a supermarket are 99% better the chicken wrap was ok appart from drowned in Mayo. That’s the only thing that went in the bin and the rest of us had food From In the house. If this was a restaurant the food would have been sent back and I would have left with a ful refund.

After a good experience last week we were left disappointed this time round, namely the fish which was very very small and not value for money at nearly £6, this was not a large fish and should have been sold as a mini fish, maybe it was a mini fish and they hoped we wouldn't notic - who knows, secondly the chips were very soggy and luke warm and were just a ball of mushunlike last week when they were still crispy and hot, cleary this week we wereat the end of a delivery run and were delivered a poor meal

Fish and chips were top class, portions were excellent and plenty for 2 people, fish was fresh and batter was light, chips were crispy just how I like them and on top delivery was half an hour early, very pleased overall and will defo use again

It's my nearest chippy and I do rate their quality of food. My only nag is that it doesn't matter if I phone my order through, it seems to gets cooked once I arrive instead of being ready to collect and go, which prevents me giving a 5 star rating. Except for this one issue, I think it'd best chippy around the area it's located.

This shop have good fish and chips but kebabs is not their speciality order a few kebabs it was only 3 or 4 big pieces of chicken they didn't fit inside the breed no salad wen u order something because u don't want to cook and u still have to

Food was absolutely shocking, we ordered 2 haddock and 2 curry mixes. The haddock was mainly batter and over cooked and very tasteless. The chips were under cooked. And cold. Never will i order from here again!

Really freindly staff, great chips, huge portions, update... Well been lodging nearby for a week and this is now my goto place for an evening meal. I have tried the garlic bread, doner kebab, battered sausage and the chips. All of which were outatanding. As somone who spends his life working away from home i wish they had a branch in every place i stayed. Outstanding in everyway. Only issue is they only take cash... But you cant have everything

Very disappointed on two different accessions got given chips that wasn't cooked properly let it go the first time but the second time I called and complained was told that they would replace it and once I was in the shop I was then made to feel like a lier over a bag of chips at which point I refused to accept the chips and walked away poor customer servic and people skills

The good first, the fish was very nice and pie too, but, the chips, which was a huge portion, were awful, hard and dry, the type of chips it's just such an effort to chew and swallow, they ruined the meal, my partner left hers, I ate as much as I could but felt totally bloated after, a fish and chip shop needs to have good chips...

This place is no longer known as Love Chips but offer the same courteous and customer friendly service. Their chips and other food on their menu is simply "Nice". I would recommend this place to anyone who like a lovely serving of fish and chips!!

chips were cold and undercooked beans curry and gravy were cold the beans and curry leaked together so they ended up binned because no one wants curry beans 2 gravys had leaked what a waste of £37 for practically 2 kids meals 2 fish n a pie order was late driver shouting down the ohone sayin he was here when i was clearly stood at the door.
