Eltham Park South Cafe in Greenwich

Best pizza I’ve ever had in England. Honestly 10/10 a true hidden gem.

£4.50 for a can of diet coke and a lemon lime drink. Overpriced. He also didn't tell me the price until the very end, knowing how overpriced it is.

Delicious sausage rolls at the cafe this morning, the rolls were slightly crispy but not hard and the sausages well cooked. The latte was quite strong, not too milky like some places.

Best coffee shop in the area, fresh air while enjoying it. 😎

We were very impressed with the service and the quality of food when we stopped here while out for a bike ride. The kids were very impressed with the chunky chips. I really enjoyed the oat milk cappuccino. The two guys working inside were patient and happy to advise on the best options. Thank you.

Dingy and dark inside, couldn't see person behind glass barrier. Didn't have anything I ordered, ther £3.50 fruit juices are a joke.... took forever to order and get what we ordered on a weekdag. I'd say unless you just want tea, don't bother. A shame as it COULD be good.

Expensive ice lollys. £2.50 for a callipo that normally sells for £1.20 in most corner shops.

Fantastic little cafe price is good and the staff are brilliant always look forward to having a cappuccino there on Monday and Tuesdays afternoons

A lovely cafe with a fab owner! Great selection of ice creams for the kids. Fantastic all year round with a selection of food and drinks that you would expect from a local park cafe, some previous reviews seems a bit harsh to me as this is not a 5 star restaurant, yes can get busy at peak times and in summer but this should be expected and any concerns staff are always happy to accommodate. The indoor section of this cafe is a great touch when the weather gets cold so definitely worth a visit :)

A nice cup of tea and a lovely jam scone sitting in the Park on a beautiful autumn afternoon. Nice friendly people served us and the bill was a lot less than expected. A good choice.

I love this Cafe the people are so friendly and helpful coffee/food is lovely. its brilliant where you can go for early morning coffee and pastry 8 am before work. Well done !

Basic food, not a pleasure to eat at all, although the setting is lovely. Staff also despondent and obviously not got their heart in it. If possible bring your own food to the park, the drinks are fine though. Table tops are gross with drink and food, there's no knowing if they are cleaned daily or accrue animal visits for leftovers during the night.

Nice cafe. Sometimes it can take a while to queue up but good coffee is worth the wait.

Really nice place, nice and clean

Not the greatest place to eat. Such a long time to wait with incorrect or incomplete orders. My advice is just order tea and get out, very hard for people to mess up pouring boiling water on a teabag.

This is just ridiculous. Please give this place to someone with an idea how to run the cafe. They are taking orders one at the time and preparing food and drinks for each customer. How about ask people in the q if they will have drinks, kids going mental for ice creams etc… could be sorted easily. Plus, once you order you wait ridiculously long for portion of chips, they getting orders wrong and people really frustrated complaining about waiting 30-40 min - it’s just silly. Amazing potential and beautiful place though, great for dog lovers. Such a shame.

Visited the local park with my daughter and ended up going to this lovely Café. Really good food and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Eltham park is lovely and spacious thr little coffee shop is very good and priced well cater for all including your pets with doggy doughnuts or sausages, staff polite and helpful. 🥰.

Such a shame as this used to be a great little cafe in a great spot. Not sure if it's under new management? expectation Vs reality on this Salted Caramel Frappe. I think it speaks for itself. *Edit in response* Glad it's still in the same hands and I have also felt the driver shortage at work. But you can't use that to excuse shoddy service. I ordered, paid, was asked if I wanted cream? Then this comes out and the guy says "sorry we are out of the ingredients". If he said that at the start, I wouldn't have ordered it and this review wouldn't be here. As a regular to EPS if I do come back, I'll make a point not to pay till my order is in hand.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet! I bought 3 of those twirly ice creams for my crew as it was a blinking hot day! Nice little Cafe but seemed to be only 3 sun umberellas up for what looked like around 8 to 10 picnic tables 🤔 if you ask me thats not nearly enough, do punters have to book/hire a sun brolly on a blazing hot day??

Always a great place to stop for refreshments.Today a very tasty burger and a coffee fortified me to continue my walk through the park and woods.

Fabulous spot for an ice cream or coffee in the park. I had a sausage and bacon baguette which was the best I've had in years.

This has become a great place for refreshment. Decent food, hot and cold drinks. Sit out on the benches, or a nice indoor space. A good stop off for the many dog walkers. Or a nice waiting location while you wait for the tennis lessons to finish

We just had drinks but a nice flavoured hot chocolate was just what we needed as it was cold today.

Our Crafty Wizards love our local park cafe. We currently have an Easter Number hunt for children and families. We are going away 350 Cadburys Creme Eggs at Eltham Park South Cafe. The cafe has a range of drinks, ice cremes, sandwiches and more. Enjoy Eltham Park South field, tennis courts, table tennis and children's play park.

It's nice small cafe in the middle of the park. As it's the only option, you don't have much choice and have to chose from their menu. The quality of coffee and hot chocolate wasn't as great but not too bad too.

Cafe was great on a beautiful day and who doesn't relish a well prepared bacon sandwich? Custom was brisk and service well organised given covid restrictions.qà

Bought a croissant this morning for my little boy, it was burnt on the top so I asked for a different one which was met with some resistance by the lady on the till. She agreed and came back with the same Croissant but has picked off the top layer. I never wrote reviews but was quite shocked by this. Surely it’s no skin off her nose just to replace with a pastry that isn’t burnt.

The best bacon sandwich ever, on decent bread too. Plus a wonderful cup of tea to go with it, at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend

It's hard for the woman at the counter, taking orders and preparing everything. Because they're understaffed the queue is very slow.

Nice friend ly staff and good dog sausages. Could do with more veggie/vegan options but I did enjoy my vegan Magnum.

Needs better management. Staff is not friendly, toilets are always disgusting, opening hours is a bit ridiculous for summer time. It has nice coffee though (reason why is not 1 star).

After spending sometime in the play park my granddaughter suggested an ice cream. Service was slow and the lollies were rather expensive. We sat at the tables but there were too many unleashed dogs wandering around for my liking.

Nice Open area some bits wooded. Dog walking. Used by schools and clubs for football training and sports day. Has cafe and tables for snacks and drinks dog friendly. Also fenced off tennis courts with nets. Free car park. Also street parking restriced times 11.00am to 12.30pm. Nice childrens swing park.

Quite slow service whilst there is a selection items I bought lollies for the grand children that were nice but expensive.

I come to this park which isn't local to me to walk my dog because of the cafe . Good coffee, great food great service .

Vamos aquí tres o cuatro veces a la semana cuando paseamos al perro y es un lugar estupendo: café decente, un sándwich de salchichas y hasta bocadillos de tocino que no están cocinados (¡como la mayoría de los cafés parecen servir!)Definitivamente lo recomendaría y los precios son buenos, también. No es un lugar de destino ni un lugar para salir a comer, pero es perfecto si estás en el parque o pasando por allí.

Realmente me gusta este café y lo uso cuando vamos al parque a pasear a nuestro perro.Los precios están aproximadamente al nivel correcto, pero no tienen bocadillos, lo cual es un poco extraño dado que es una pequeña cafetería. No hay barras de chocolate? Ha sido así durante semanas y semanas. La última vez solo un pequeño paquete de 2 galletas, pero esta vez nada!Hay patatas fritas si las quieres.Lo más molesto es el sonido horrible de la música realmente horrible que es demasiado fuerte y simplemente suena tan horrible.Por favor, apáguelo ya que no volveré a usar el café si está encendido, ya que es inadecuado.

Called in for morning Brunch Sausage egg bacon hash browns and a latte . Absolute winner good size portions and cooked to perfection by Colin and Des . I would have taken a photo but it didn't hang around long 😁

A great cafe but with a limited variety of choice. Good for coffee but you feel uncomfortable if you do not like dogs, they roam where you sit.

Very nice tuna and sweet corn toastie combined with the lovely banana and strawberry smoothie. Friendly staff, would happily recommend.

Comprar algunos chips de queso y cuando llegaron le pregunté por sal, me dijeron que no tenían ninguna! Patatas fritas fuimos al bin y me quede con hambre y bajar 3 libras. 50. Al menos el de Pepsi era potable. No comprar comida en este café de nuevo, y no creo que no tenían sal.

This place has been there all my life and I'm delighted that the couple who run it now are committed enough to open up 7 days a week no matter what the weather!I've honestly only had tea but it is freshly made in large China mugs, very satisfying after a turn around the park. Worth stopping at if the people of all ages sitting at the benches overlooking the back of the park are anything to go by and the majority were eating not just having a cuppa.
