Elmas in Warrington

I arranged a party for 18 teenagers. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend

Came for my wife’s birthday. It’s nicely decorated and has some great reviews. Had the goats cheese to start with a beetroot sauce, which was lovely and fresh. Mains were king prawn linguine with a dollop of tomato sauce. There was a lot of the sauce and we did expect that. The king prawns were very strong smelling of fish, so we left them. I had the chicken stroganoff which was ok but the chicken was overcooked. Finished with the crème brûlée. Maybe it was what we ordered, as the restaurant was busy and he a lot of great reviews, it just wasn’t the experience we were expecting.

Came over to see Mum today and took her to Elmas. We have been bringing her here since Dad died 4 years ago. Mum and Dad liked Elmas and bringing Mum here keeps the memories alive for her. Nice meal again today and good atmosphere. The Staff and the owner are always kind to Mum and it’s appreciated. See you soon.

As group of friends we all were all extremely pleased with the whole experience, Food was excellent as were the staff, a great atmosphere and music too.

Discovered Elmas about six months ago and have visited on a monthly basis. The quality of the food and the friendly service is consistently brilliant. I can’t praise it highly enough.

Great food and excellent service. We really struggled to park so had to phone ahead to say we would be late. They saved our table for us even though it was very busy. We had goats cheese starter and 2 pasta dishes they were all delicious.

Ate here at 6pm. Chose from the early bird menu and full menu. All food was great and really good value. Will definitely go back

Elmas is a lovely business as a vivacious restaurant-bar concept at the centre of a beautiful village Lymm in Cheshire. I occasionally give a visit to this place whenever I get the chance to travel to Lymm either myself or with my family. With always friendly and welcoming staff I enjoy the great food along with a few drinks. What is particularly I love about this place is that it is like a meeting spot for the whole village and everybody in the restaurant mostly look like they enjoy the peace and happiness of this small but beautiful village all together. It always seems to me like a great social club offering great food and drink options as well. I can't imagine in how lovely atmosphere the special days such as Christmas etc. being enjoyed in this cosy but also stylist environment. One extra plus as well is that as far as I heard that this is a family run business for years and I observe that the management is always hands on and they are so much caring to ensure you leave the place happy and satisfied. It is a surprising business too as during my last visit, I suddenly found a lovely plate on my table while I was enjoying my beer towards the nice village view. The manager told me that the chef had just tried a new dish and they would be happy if I could enjoy it and share my thoughts with them. Well enjoyed in minutes! =) Briefly, if you would like to enjoy your time in cosy, friendly but beautifully designed restaurant bar with great food options mostly Mediterranean, whatever your occasion is, I would hundred percent recommend to give a visit to Elmas!

Honestly cannot fault this restaurant! We came for dinner (no special occasion) and were made to feel so special whilst we were there, we had the best time!! The food was amazing, atmosphere was perfect and the staff were so friendly and attentive. I have booked again for a few weeks and cannot wait - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

EXCELLENT MEAL i had a the meat platter for my starter , rigatoni Filetto for my main and i fully enjoyed the whole thing. Me and my friends loved the homely atmosphere and would come again and again .Loved it here

Me and my family came here last Sunday day for a evening meal . There was a lovely warm welcome from burak whom we know and always looks after use . Service and food is always a high standard , and cannot fault it at all .we even booked for Christmas with the family .we are lucky as it’s nearly fully booked which says it all .see you soon.

My 83 year old mother had been wanting to visit this restaurant after hearing good reviews from her friends . We decided to treat her for her birthday . Arrived to empty restaurant at 1pm on a Friday . Not made to feel welcome , ordered some water whilst reading menu . Realised we only had A la carte one and my mum had seen an ‘early bird ‘ menu on the board outside . We asked about this and one menu was thrown on the table as if it were an inferior thing to ask for , no explanation , no advice as to what the soup was or anything on menu . We weren’t given a menu each . We tried to get the waiters attention for some time but he was looking at his phone behind the bar . Decided it was just too difficult to get any form of service so we left . We were hoping to have a champagne celebration but decided to take our business elsewhere . Had a delightful meal and service at an establishment round the corner . It was completely full of customers so doing something right . Perhaps the staff at Elma should look at what other establishments are doing to attract customers . Shame as it looks like it is a lovely place inside . Doesn’t take much to welcome customers and advise about the menu particularly when we are the only customers !

Arrived for mums birthday lunch. Waiter couldn’t be bothered to serve us. Didn’t offer the lunch menu. Then stood on his phone for ages while we sat waiting. We left without bothering to order. Didn’t want to inconvenience him. Can see why it was empty.

Absolutely horrendous ! I would not even give it one star !, the manager needs to decide whether it’s a restaurant where you can hear your friend across the table or it’s a nightclub!, I had booked a table to be at the side of the restaurant. We arrived to a member if staff that could not give a toss I would have said he was Turkish he was not English did not even look at our booking and did not even say hello just flicked his hand to the nearest table . Customer service zero. There was a woman literally screaming at the bar !! The music was very loud. I could not even hear my husband and friend and we were totally utterly disappointed. As I said before the management need to decide what this place is as I will never set foot inside it again and would recommend anyone who wants to chat please don’t book at this place whatever it is.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Lymm with great service, delicious food, I had the stuffed aubergine and it was delicious. The others had pizza and meatball calzone, empty plates! Greta cocktails to boot. We will be back

Where to start? The casual approach of service is too casual! Long wait between courses , waitress chewing gum and incorrect bill.. the food is nothing more than any average home cook can produce so don't expect to be wowed..it all feels a bit like a pretend "good" restaurant I'm afraid.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon so fairly quiet. I had the BBQ meatball pizza which was lovely. Generous amount of meat and sauce, along with a fairly thin base, just right.My date had the tagliatelli but barely ate half so didn't enjoy it much.Service wasn't the fastest despite it being quiet but the staff were very friendly.

This restaurant in the middle of Lymm is family owned and run, and always busy. So book. The food is just excellent. I had hummus with pitta bread, and a very nice King Prawn linguini and tiramisu. The son of the owner served us and was fun and knowledgable. All in all, a very nice evening meal.

Food and service very good, can be quite noisy because of the acoustics of the room. Make sure you get a table away from the doors or you will be sat in a draft most of the night.

We spent Christmas day here and the staff were brilliant with the young ones. Service was quick with a smile and food as good as any. Not the cheapest but that goes with the trend of Lymm

The service was quite good but food terrible and overpriced. It was probably the worse Sunday roast we ever had. The veg and the Yorkshire pudding reminded me of frozen stuff from Iceland. The profiteroles again looked like a cheap frozen supermarket one.

I've been to this great restaurant several times now and the meals are always lovely, staff friendly and attentive. The garlic mushrooms are awesome and so is everything I've tried, best Tiramisu too

Having not being here with family for a while ,we came back and loved the addition of the tree and decor what a great feel to relax and unwind .Excellent service and food amazing we love the tapas and knuckle of lamb plus many more .’We where full but still manage desserts and coffee .We will be back very soon we hope Thankyou to staff always high standards .

It's just nice to get away somewhere peaceful like Lymm at the weekend and if you eat early enough this restaurant is reasonably quiet. There was a large party on our last visit but it was still a relaxing meal and child friendly. The early set menu is good value and even if you choose something from the regular menu it's still worth the money. The service is always friendly without being overbearing. The sharing platter starter was really delicious and a great way to start the meal. The steak was cooked to my husbands liking as to was my seabass. The kids meal was pretty much all eaten and there was no room for dessert which doesn't happen very often. We did end up sharing a dessert in the end between three of us, it would have been rude not to order the chocolate orange cake.

Monday is always a quiet night in Lymm but Elmas was the busiest as usual for good reason. We have eaten here many many times and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent steak, beautifully cooked. Happy day’s!

We called in by chance without knowing anything about the restaurant, we were just hungry, but WOW .What a treat. Everything was cooked fresh, everything was delicious. My husband and I shared Tapas and a pizza. We shall return and try more delicious food. Clever chef

We have eaten here a few times and every time we are so happy to be treated as old friends. The food is lovely, the service is fast, or slower if you want a rest between courses. Burak the owner is very friendly and sociable.

My family and lots of friends all round up on Christmas Eve and the kids will sit on one table, the adults on the other. Lovely to sit there before carols on the cross. The food is delicious and we were well looked after (we were there for 3 hours!) it was a bit noisy but what can you except? Everyone’s simply having a wonderful Christmas time it has a nice almost homey feel to it and the lighting is so calming. As I mentioned the noise before, it’s not normally like that and it didn’t bother me as it got me more excited. Already booked up for this year! Staff are lovely xxxx

I went here with my partner and small child for an early dinner. The food was excellent we had the prawn linguine, steak and some calamari and breads on the side. This was followed by creme brûlée for dessert . My daughter had the kids meat balls. The food was lovely, the calamari I would especially recommend it was light and crispy not rubbery unlike other places. The prawn linguine was also excellently done and the prawns were fresh and well cooked. The kids menu is pleasant and the food is fresh and homemade. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. Would very much recommend this restaurant if you are in the lymm area. Prices are fair.

Rest menu choices for a group who can’t decide where to eat.. and everything we’ve had has been great, from pizza to houmous!

We went for a walk around Lymm as it was such a lovely warm day when my daughter told us we haven't eaten desert and could we go somewhere. There are quite a few places to choose from in the centre of Lymm but we hadn't tried Elmas so have it a go. We asked the waitress if it was okay just to have desserts before we were seated. We were given menus quickly and our order was taken. Being lactose intolerant means I miss out on dessert when eating out but they had a orange sponge cake with a dark chocolate sauce. How could I say no. I'm glad I ordered it as it was delicious and even though my husband enjoyed his tiramisu he still helped himself to my cake. The restaurant was busy and you would probably have to book at the weekend. It had a nice, friendly vibe to it and the service was excellent.

The food was tasty, with good portion sizes. The actual venue is quite small & on the night we had our meal, very noisy!

Saturday night, really busy so I would recommend to book a table! We had meatballs and mussels for starters and they were absolutely delicious! Also had pasta! Yummy! Portions are generous! Service is quick and pleasant and the decoration inside the restaurant is really nice! Loved it!

I went with 5 friends for a get together one evening. The manager made us very welcome. He was very helpful with our order and when the food arrived, on each course, it was superb. Certainly worth further visits.

We had a table for 10 which was really well looked after by all the staff, particularly Meg, who were all very attentive and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Everyone had different dishes and we all thought we had made the best choice so good was the quality of the food!! The atmosphere was fantastic with all tables appearing full which made the quality of the service even more amazing.

Stopped for a casual supper in Lymm. While staying over in Cheshire from Ontario, Canada we were after local family fare. We were not disappointed. The owner and the wait staff were more then accommodating!! Lovely!!! Personable and attentive! If I wasn’t 5500km away this would be a return visit! Visited Elmas with wife and 2 friends and was not disappointed. Staff were accommodating when we requested none dairy and the food was delightful. Definately a further visit soon. Top marks Elmas.

This place serves simple good med. style food in a bright, glitzy setting. Waitress natural, helpful and chatty however drinks/wine-waiter a disaster, appeared to have had a charm by-pass. He also didn't seem able to read the house wine list nor understand that a comma between wine types meant they were distinct wines ie chenin blanc, viognier and sauvignon blanc. He believed they were all mixed together and talked down to us with a touching degree of ignorance that left us feeling sorry for him. White bait well-done & presented, likewise superb stuffed aubergines and perfect chicken caesar salad. Pizzas were lightweight and of an ideal consistency. Would go again but really the waiter needs some guidance otherwise the place will lose less patient customers.

Simply love this restaurant. The staff are so friendly no matter how busy it is. Food is amazing . I work in hospitality and when you find a place as good as this you make it your regular eatery on rare nights off. Burak and team you nail it everytime. Fillet steak to die for

We rocked up on a Monday evening and it was quiet. There were a couple of couples eating and drinking at tables far enough away from us to be able to talk intimately - as far as I can tell. They didn’t appear to complain about our party enjoying banter and laughter with our waiter. We ordered an assortment of starters and shared them like tapas. Good choice cos they were delicious. Mains were also delicious, but portions too large for us girls after all the tapas. I would’ve preferred smaller portions of mains to leave room for deserts. I think restaurants should also offer more choices of smaller cheaper portions, to enable choices for side dishes and deserts without being too greedy and to help keep the cost down and not miss out on a pudding. In the end we had a tiramisu with 4 spoons and vowed to return one day soon just to have a dessert tapas so we can try more of the yummy sounding choices from the dessert menu.
