Elma Restaurant in Warwick

Food- lamb chops very chewy and gristly. Salad swimming in balsamic. Chips are unlike any chips I've tried before and not in a positive way. Closer to wedges but not what I was expecting and also overcooked. Service was OK. Someone at the table too frequently.

We had a delightful lunch here today, 2 courses for 2 people under £50 including wine and soft drinks. The food was delicious and generous portions. I highly recommend the veggie stew. The service was friendly and attentive, giving the impression that nothing was too much trouble.

Great Turkish and Mediterranean cousin

Absolutely amazing, food service and atmosphere all perfect. This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The food was filling and very tasty and the staff very friendly and happy to help. 🙏🏽

First time here and the food was excellent: an extensive menu so choice was not easy. The service was very friendly and helpful. The dishes are very distinctive and the Turkish wine was first rate. We shall certainly return.

Really lovely restaurant in Leamington Spa. Service was very friendly, it was very pretty and for a Wednesday night in February we were surprised that there were quite a few people in there. The food was delicious. Probably a bit pricier than we usually go for, but we certainly had no regrets and would definitely return.

We had a lovely lunch here today. We felt welcomed and were looked after very well. We really enjoyed the homemade Borek, hummus and tzatziki to start. Then Adana Kofte, Falafel salad and veggie stew. It was all delicious and good sized portions. We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant and will return again. Thank you for a lovely meal

Amazing Turkish restaurant in leamington!! The staff are absolutely lovely and the food is incredible, would highly recommend! I had the moussaka which was incredible and my friend had a steak which she said was the best steak she ever had. Can’t wait to come back here to try something else off the menu!

Booked this on a whim without too much research. What a lovely surprise this turned out to be. From the moment we walked in we had a great feeling. The host was welcoming without any of the false intrusiveness you see these days. The menu was exactly what we were looking for: started with grilled Halloumi and the beetroot salad which set the stage well for the mains.  Spicy meatballs, veggie moussaka with a side salad; those dishes turned out to be such a lovely continuation. Didn't get to try the wine list alas so can't comment on that. Do try the desserts also - some lovely flavours in the mix. Would absolutely return next time we are in the area: can't recommend enough.

Overall, we had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food. The steak was excellent value, especially with the deal they had at the time. The service was great—very helpful and prompt with taking and delivering orders. We started with a sharing platter, (med style) which was absolutely lovely and a highlight of the meal. However, I ordered the halloumi chicken salad, which was slightly disappointing. The portions of chicken and halloumi were very small—about three or four slices of chicken breast and three slices of halloumi. That said, the evening was still enjoyable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. While there’s a little room for improvement in my own meal, it’s still worth a visit for a nice night out.

Visited this restaurant in between Christmas & New Year whilst staying over in Leamington . From start to finish it was an excellent experience. Food was delicious, with complementary olives before our meal.. Service was excellent , felt thoroughly looked after without feeling overwhelmed. Finished the meal with a platter of desserts which was great because we got to try several new things and a complimentary limoncello. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

It's been a good couple of years since I've eaten at Elma, but the food is still as good as ever. The staff were welcoming, and service was prompt. I would definitely recommend the Meat Platter and Mixed Grill.

One of the very few restaurants in Leam that never disappoints!! Consistently delicious food and very friendly service!! Our company Christmas dinner tonight was excellent. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

Twice I have travelled here from Basingstoke to meet family who travel from Yorkshire and both times it has been worth the trip! The food is well made and beautifully presented. There’s lots of choice for vegetarians. I had the vegetarian mezze, dad had the sea bass and hubby had the mixed grill and we all had clean plates at the end of it! I would recommend the banoffee pistachio pud with candy floss. The chocolate soufflé disappeared very rapidly from my husband’s plate! Even my dad’s vanilla ice cream was remarkable - dad was very impressed! It’s such a lovely atmosphere and the service was so friendly- the owner greeted me by name as soon as I arrived which was a nice touch. Will definitely be back as I love this place! Shame I don’t live closer!

Great restaurant. One of my favourites. Food is always very good and lovely venue and wonderful staff, especially Aiden!

First of all I must say that the food was delicious at Elma - when it arrived!! We had a mixed meze platter for starters which was lovely. And that's when it went downhill! After a long wait we were asked by the manager (?) if we were waiting for our mains & we said yes. After a further 25 minutes another member of staff asked if we were waiting for our mains & said she would go to the kitchen & see what was happening. The meals turned up 20 minutes after that and the 2 waitresses practically threw them on the table with no apology! To me it's obvious that our order had gone astray so why didn't the manager come & explain & apologise rather than ignoring us tucked away in a little lean-to annexe at the back of the restaurant? People on the table near us ordered their food well after us and got it well before us! Another large table seemed to garner the interest of a lot of staff most of the time (possibly locals who knew the staff?) This may have distracted the staff from other eaters. And another totally different point the members of this table had a dog with them which at various points of the evening was allowed onto the table!! Time to pay the bill & we couldn't get anyone's attention so we went to the bar to pay & I think the manager could tell we were annoyed because he started to apologise - sorry too little too late! Felt very disappointed, because what was actually a very nice meal was spoiled due to very poor service. We were staying in Leamington overnight & had chosen Elma because of the very good reviews so can only imagine this is not a regular occurrence but our experience was not good. We left the restaurant feeling deflated at being ignored & annoyed that our evening had been somewhat spoiled!

This was our first time here, and we had a beautiful meal, we had the Seabass and a vegetarian stew, followed by there pistachio banoffe pies. The flavours in the meals were amazing, as well was the service, and we were looked after all night. A truly great experience and will be returning again

Elma's food is delicious. Indeed, it is one of the best restaurants in this city.

Elma’s is my favourite restaurant in Leamington Spa. The service is always great, and the food is amazing. All the staff are friendly and polite. Aiden the manager is so friendly and can’t do enough to make sure you have a traditional Turkish experience. It has a lovely garden area out the back which is heated in the winter months. Inside the restaurant is also lovely with the Turkish lights. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. Looking forward to my next meal there.

They were almost full, but service was friendly and efficient. We hsd £39 set menu. The mixed mezze from set menu was excellent quality and quantity not over salty too! Mains good. Dessert Baclava I'm often take it or leave it but these were crispy and delicious. Ice creams and candy floss accompaniment interesting flavours. Fun taverna vibe with vines on the ceiling.

Elma restaurant is a gem of a place to eat, booked a table via phone and arrived a little early, led to the rear of the premises to an intimate, cosy seating area with attractive greenery. Service is attentive without being intrusive, had a shared Mixed Meze starter which was beautifully presented, generous portion sizes too. My partner took the Sea Bass as a main - again generous with two pieces of fish, cooked perfectly and I had the mixed grill which was very tasty. We then took the shared dessert option to finish off. On the drinks side there is a rather novel twist where the Cocktails and matched with a very similar 'Mocktail' - a nice touch for the driver in the party.

Best service in the whole of Leamington. Volkan is an asset to the restaurant, and the owner is very friendly and kind. The atmosphere is terrific, it's great to sit in the conservatory. The service makes coming here an experience that feels happy and special. The food is good quality, the rice is lovely, recommend the halloumi. Really recommend coming here.

Excellent service and food that did not disappoint. We had the mixed mezze platter and a mixed grill which had a big range of options, all of which were delicious, varied and full of flavour. The presentation was beautiful and food good value for money.

The staff here is genuinely attentive, and the hospitality feels natural. Tap water is provided at every table, which is a nice touch. The octopus we ordered was excellent, with generous portions. The side of chips was perfectly crispy. The garden seating area is absolutely stunning. I would definitely come back!

Love Elma, my favourite restaurant in leamington. Food is always great and the service too. Both the lunch and dinner menus have good variety.

Only 4 of us in the restaurant possibly due to Euro semi-finals, food was disappointing. Despite being the only customers of the evening, they forgot a starter & we waited some time for the mains. Veggie stew was runny & side salad was out of a supermarket pack - no extras or dressing. Staff were friendly but wouldn't go back - not value for money.

With excellent service and menu options we enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at this superb restaurant. We were amongst a party of eight that chose this venue largely due to the variety of its menu. We were not disappointed in any way and would not hesitate to return. Thank you to all the staff for their attentive service.

GORGEOUS food and plentiful portions, absolutely delicious and really attentive staff, although could maybe notice when a glass is empty for us to order more drinks. Only down side was we were sat in essentially the walk way to the garden so it was very busy with people walking passed what is quite a narrow space, so people with bags or possible a bit of a wider stature might be at risk of brushing the table with food / drinks etc.

We went as part of a party for my friends birthday. We all had to pre order as it was a large party and somehow they still brought me out the wrong dish. The waitress was really nice about it but I had to wait until everyone else finished to eat my food when it eventually come. However- When it did come it was delicious, I had the mixed grill.

Went here for a work dinner. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Had the veggie stuffed aubergine dish - was ok, could have had more flavouring & bit more quantity / sides for the price. Limited main course vegetarian dishes, there seem to be more vegetarian dishes for starters & shared platter which I hope to try the next time. We all had baklava for dessert..Worth a try!

Aa visitors to Leamington Spa, we chose to book elma's for dinner. The owner Aydin, was the perfect host, So friendly, welcoming and personally attentive throughout the evening, as were the rest of the staff. Food was delicious and served piping hot. We have had a beautiful meal at Elma this evening. Fantastic waitresses Chloe and Sophie. They were attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely amazing. For our mains we had the mixed grill, lamb shank, seabass and king prawn stew. Everything was very flavoursome, beautifully presented and good portion size. Some of us managed a dessert and tried the banoffee pie which was heavenly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Standout service from all the staff who served us during the evening. Food was delicious 😋 recommend the sharing boards, we loved our dip selection board. Both the aubergine slow cooked dishes (lamb version and veg version) were superb. Good for groups and loved the patio area.

What a fabulous Mother’s Day Lunch we have just had. No “Special Mothers Day “ menu at twice the usual price, just the usual super tasty, great value choices. The staff here are just lovely, both friendly and attentive and even the young man training was keen and cheerful. What a great place.

Headline: Best restaurant in Leamington Spa. My fiancé and I had such a wonderful time here at Elma. Absolute best Mediterranean food we have ever tasted! The owner was amazing with his customer service. The ambience in the restaurant is perfect for special occasions/date night. We laughed so much our cheeks hurt. We will most definitely return to Elma when we are in Leamington Spa.
