Absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the dishes were flavorful, and the staff was welcoming. The atmosphere made the experience even better!

Not the most "celubrious" location in the town judging by the surrounding streets, but step inside the restaurant and what a difference. Everything other reviews say about the food was "spot on", service excellent, hospitality first class. The range of fresh fish was beyond expection, will certainly go again. Just one small "very small" observation. The "toilet seat" is loose and needs tightening up, other than that, it's a place "not" to be missed if you are a fish foodie. It's worth noting that if you plan on going there but don't see a particular type of fish on the menu, give the owner a ring beforehand and he will go out of his way to "source" that fish ready for when you are there. If anyone can tell me where you can get that kind of service, I'll "eat my hat" metaphorically speaking of course. Ha ha

A wet Wednesday lunchtime. Did our research and walked from train station to Elhoot. Unassuming restaurant on the back streets. Don’t expect an high street chain restaurant. It looked and felt authentic. Inside was warm, very pleasant and spotlessly clean. Greeted by I guess the owner who was super friendly. We were the only diners at just gone 12. They have their own fishmonger’s within the building and you can see it’s all fresh and available to cook to order. We had the medium fish platter to share for the 2 of us. Literally the ingredients were taken off the Ice and cooked fresh. WOW. A big platter with red mullet, red snapper, sea bream, sea bass, prawns and calamari. Some grilled some fried. Four large pieces of flat bread. A huge salad. Rice and chips. A selection of dips. Everything was stunning. The bill including a mint tea and a latte came to less than £45. Fantastic value, quality and service. Thank you.

Hands down, the best fish restaurant in the UK. The seafood was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection, and full of Egyptian flavour. Staff are friendly, quick, and super welcoming. The vibe is amazing with Middle Eastern smell, making it the perfect place to chill and enjoy some top-tier grub.

We were eating here again last night, and it never disappoints. We ordered: Sea bass, mullet, sea bream, shrimp, squid. Without a doubt it is the best place to eat in the entire city, and enormously unknown. Furthermore, the owner's attention is always magnificent. We always bring new people and they are always delighted.

I've been here 3-4 times before, food has always been good as well as good service. This time I went and there was a guy working on the fish counter who was very rude to me and talking to me like I'm dumb even though I explained to him clearly what fish I want and how many people for. I won't be back.

10/10 for the food, really truly enjoyed out meal, huge portions, tasty food worth the price and more! The waiter was really nice, recommended good food

Serve fish with nice Middle Eastern spices that make you experience eating fish in a different way. Try it. Price is also reasonable. Small space but not too busy.

Very accommodating staff and very patient staff. We were too many and they may have mixed up some orders lol but they handled it very professionally!! The fooood is amazinggggggg. And one meal of grilled fish with a side can fill two. I couldn't finish it 😅. I am definitely returning for a 2nd round. 😂. They accommodate music preferences and always seeking to give a 💯. Such a wonderful little gem of a restaurant, you don’t expect amazing food going by the location of the restaurant but it is pleasantly surprising. We ordered the seafood mix and fish and chips and the seafood mix was devine whilst the fish and chips was so tasty. There is a fresh fish counter attached to the side of the restaurant so everything is fresh. Service was great and the guy made us feel very welcome. It does take a while for food to arrive but it’s only because it’s made fresh - it’s worth the wait. Will most definitely be going again!

What a great discovery, on a weekend trip to Peterborough. Fresh fish and seafood, beautifully cooked, in a small friendly café. Excellent value, a highlight of the weekend.

A short walk from the town, seems like randomly in the middle of a residential area, BUT food was amazing! Such a hidden gem! Portions were huge and service was great!

The food is horrible . The rice is bitter and the octopus is like a piece of rubber . You can’t chew it.

I ordered food for my birthday, paid 170 pounds, the fish was overcooked so much that it was not possible to eat it, the portion of seafood was made to a minimum, there were only a few shrimp, but the crab was wonderful from the top. I returned the fish to the restaurant today , and instead of changing, I heard a bunch of negativity addressed to me. This is the worst food order of my life.

Had an amazing meal here this evening. The quality of the food is out of this world, you can tell that all of it is fresh and prepared with care. Considering how generous the portions are, reasonably priced would be an understatement. If you love fish and seafood, this is a gem. The owner is very attentive to his customers and I was moved by how passionate and proud he is. Parking in the area is a bit of a nightmare, but it's a short walk from Queensgate. Will definitely be back soon and might place an order or 2 via JustEat in the meantime.

Found this restaurant a few months back and is hands down the best restaurant in Peterborough, the owner is very attentive and always open to feedback, everytime I went there food was amazing, very good portions, and always had different dishes.

The best place if you want to eat fresh sea food!

Today I found an amazing food restaurant in Peterborough. From the outside, it is a simple cafe, but the food was indescribably delicious and only made from fresh seafood🦞🦐🐟😍 Here you can try everything from lobsters to shrimps, mussels, octopus ... different kinds of fish🥰 the portions are very large and the prices are really friendly. Highly recommended

Customer service was rude, hang up phone one me, i called them to double check when my food will be on way some fella told me few times when i called in was very rude and hang up, i payed for food 35£ its big money in such a days, people could be more kind and polite its not so hard….after both calls i felt sad,humiliated,disrispected even i was polite , i work by myself in customer service i dont treat my customers in that way….i will report that employee when i will find out his name, quality of the food is briliant just that man which served me i will find out eventually his name and report him …
