We came for brunch with friends. It was my first time there. There was a big choice of items on the menu but no crepes available. I had a build your own breakfast and they were very flexible with this. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. The two ladies who were serving were very friendly with a good sense of humour. I would definitely go back. The toilet was clean with some amusing touches inside.

Poor breakfast. Sour dough toast with smashed avacado, I don’t think the toast was sour dough (despite checking) and avacado serving wasn’t very generous. Can’t eat poached eggs so wanted to swap for hash browns but was told I was only allowed one. Not a lot of maple syrup with pancakes. Grubby cutlery and cups and don’t get me started on the cleaning cloth used to wipe the table down.

A lovely little cafe. Amazing friendly staff. Greeted with a smile. A great choice of meals. I had the fish finger sandwiches but then I have never grown up. I had the white bread version, yum yum. It came with chips which were chunky and tasty. A comfortable little cafe on a side street serving comfort food. I noticed a good range of age groups eating there. A nice convenient and clean toilet. Level access throughout so good for wheelchairs and pushchairs. I would highly recommend this lovely cafe. I must try the Egham branch. Oh and I love the play on Eggham, something we always did as kids,

Really good food, especially the fish finger sandwich and a wonderful hot chocolate. The cleanliness, and welcoming attitude of the staff were excellent. All the food and drinks were served really hot and fresh. Will definitely be going back many more times.

Cosy high street cafe with lovely food and service. Great menu with everything from a traditional fry up to more specialist dishes.

Grubby tables and constant inane chatter didn’t make for the most relaxing experience. Had a chai latte and a ham & cheese toastie for lunch—standard fare, but not the best Costa for a moment of downtime.

I visited here for the first time despite living here for 10+ years. I decided to go for some lunch as I fancied something different from a traditional cafe and wanted to support an independent trader. We chose a toasted sandwich of brie, bacon and cranberry, sweet potato fries, a beef burger, a cappuccino and a lemonade. I was rather disappointed and found the food a little underwhelming. The sandwich, on what appeared to be ordinary sliced wholemeal bread and fries cost about £13, which I felt was rather expensive as the overall taste, presentation and ingredients were very average and the fries were rather salty(salt can always be added by the customer if needed). The burger again was very simplistic. While I can't remember all the individual costs of the food and drinks the bill came too just over £35.00, which for what we had felt was quite pricey. I feel they could make some quick and simple tweaks to the food, which would elevate it into a more 'premier' product which their price point suggests. Overall the inside is great, the choice of seating areas is interesting and different, also having an alcohol licence is great but the food could be improved to offer better valve for money.
