Efes Turkish Restaurant in Dartford

If you are looking for turkish delicious food, look no further. We felt like we are in a 5 star hotel. The service was outstanding 👏.

I ordered a mixed shish kebab, which came with a very small amount of rice and very little roast peppers. Soggy bread under the food. Meat had good flavour but a little chewy and overdone. Manager did take off 10% when issue was raised. Staff are friendly and helpful but food needs a little bit more attention and a bit more of it for your money.

Food was decent but I wouldn't say it massively stands out from other Turkish restaurants. However, service is 10/10 this is where they stand out. I recommend the shish, lamb chops and lamb ribs here it is very tender. The lamb doner was the only average thing here.

Had a great experience in here as we were just on a visit in DARTFORD, we picked up a random train on that Sunday and step off at the last station. Efes seemed great place from the very beginning we’ve passed by and after a small tour in central park and the area around, where everyone was sleeping already I think, being very quiet on the streets, we came back to try the food. Meat was soft and well cooked, sauces were tasty and all the experience was nice overall. The restaurant looks great and it had a vibrant atmosphere. Thank you!

First time visit! The service was good and food was also good and fresh. Sea bass was delicious. The service was little bit slow between starters and mains.

Lovely food and staff very friendly

Really nice food accompanied by friendly and attentive staff but also by great ambient and oriental atmosphere. We had a hell of a feast which we found to be great value for money.

Went for dinner with a friend. Ambience and entertainment vibes were very good. Was running very late for our reservation slot, but they told us to come nonetheless. Got there and was seated within 5 minutes despite being busy. Food served promptly and tasted fab and fresh👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Lovely cocktails, too. Belly dancer entertainment an added bonus to a nice evening. Prices reasonable and was served a complimentary simple but nice platter of fruit after our meal. All staff that served us were very good. Definitely recommend.

This place is just fantastic, whether it's a romantic dinner for two❤️ or girls night out 🍹🍸🍷🥂🍾. Seemed to be a theme of large Birthday occasions and some lovely cakes came out 🎂🍰 We missed the belly dancer💃but I've heard this is a great part of the evening. Would thoroughly Recommend. Parking can be an issue 🚙 but if you're happy to walk 🚶‍♂️a few mins, there are car parks further up the high street 😃

First time here tonight for me and my partner and I honestly couldn’t fault it, service was spot on and staff are lovely, food was so good and plenty of it at such a good price. Best restaurant I’ve been too in quite a while. Definitely would recommend

Visited the Efes Dartford for the first time yesterday. Used to work near the original in Great Titchfield St, back in the day, was in my opinion the best Turkish grill in London. The Dartford branch was not a let down, same flavours & original Efes menu. Food was excellent & service was spot on, & that original chilli sauce is to die for. Best grill I've had in years, since last Visited Efes 1 year ago.

I had an awesome dinner at a Efes recently. The food was really tasty, especially the mezes and chicken kofte. Great selection of drinks too! The atmosphere was chill, and the service was super friendly. It was a great experience overall, and we're definitely planning to go back soon!

One of our local Turkish restaurant. Good set up and aways accommodating. Went to celebrate my boys 11th birthday. Food was very good and flavoursome. One of the better Turkish restaurant around.Have been here a few times and never disappointed.

Food was very nice we had a sharing platter and the selection was great

Unexpected entertainment. I have no real qualms with the belly dancer. She was pretty good. But it was so loud I waited outside(along with 5 others). There wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time (7pm) so the manager really should have "read the room", I didn't see many thrilled faces.

Amazing food. So delicious. The flavours are vibrant. Enjoyed the food way too much. I was here on a Wednesday night. It was nice and quiet. Plenty of seats avaliable. They accept card and cash.

Absolutely fantastic! Food is deliciously prepared in a spotless open kitchen using fresh ingredients (very ample portions). Staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. Great atmosphere, especially on Live Music Night. Am never disappointed. My go-to local restaurant for a girls night out or family meal. Keep up the good work Efes team.

A fabulous restaurant which I have enjoyed visiting many times. I also love their takeaway food. Excellent value for money, especially if you order direct from their website or the EFES Dartford app.

I felt this review is a little harsh. I have since been to the restaurant and eat. This was a much better experience. It expensive but very good quality. Not great to be honest. Comes in big cartons basically loaded with rice. Chips were soggy, salad was awful basic a tomato and some lettuce. The meat tasted cheap and not great quality. It is not a cheap kebab place. You don't try you don't know I guess. Cant say I would ever be eating food from this place again. Great if you like rice 😂

Had a great time at this restaurant, went with two of my friends and we were served very quick without having to wait a long time considering that the place was quite busy at the time. The food was very good, we all enjoyed our dinner and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely come back.

We had Lamb Iskender, it was nearly 100 C degrees and all the bread inside has melted like a soup and the meat is nearly dried because of too much heat. The salad that they serviced with the couvert was off, some greens was nearly decayed. In my case, It was absolutely a negative experience. Will think twice before going there again. The atmosphere is always authentic and good but we are not eating the atmosphere, do we?

Some of the best cuisine I’ve ever had! The food was packed with flavour, the waiters will always greet you with smiles and there are eye-catching coloured ceiling lights along with a good selection of music. They also provide you with flavour-rushing starters and sweet-tooth desert, I don’t think, I don’t know, I don’t promise, but I GUARANTEE that you will enjoy this place. There are also drinks and Turkish delight to sidekick your meal.

Was ok for an hour and the music was ramped up which made it almost impossible to have a conversation. Waited around an hour between starter and main. Wouldn't dine there again felt like I was having a meal in a night club.

I had a bad experience with this restaurant,very poor service and poor customer service accepted my order on Uber Eats and later told me they can’t deliver to my area,and asked me to cancel the order that is criminal behavior and act

Fantastic range of mains and starters to suit all. Service is second to none and the atmosphere can be quiet or buzzing depending on the time of day. I highly recommend Efes for lunch, evening meal or a party.

What a great restaurant. We arrived late after the theatre but the staff were very welcoming. The food was amazing. All the staff were lovely and let us take our time. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Loved the music too and the Tequila rose and baklava was a very kind gesture and very much appreciated - will be coming back

We decided to visit after they reopen. What a comeback! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Been seated straight away from the door..salad and bread with some sauces came even before we ordered some drinks 😍😍 Definitely the best Pina Colada that I ever had😍😍 We ordered starters and mains in the same time, and it was perfect time between, so we didn’t have to rush with starters. Amazing choice of desserts but Kunefe always win👌👌 Atmosphere and music was on top of it, in one moment I felt I’m in Turkey 😜🫣 Definitely coming back! Thank you Efes Team❤️❤️❤️

Good service, atmosphere and food. Unfortunately, if you have some allergies, it’s better to double check with them before booking as the menu is a bit restrictive.

Wonderful restaurant. First time in a Turkish restaurant and the chicken was not dry!! Amazingly cooked, very attentive and helpful staff and were super generous. Adana Kebab highly recommended

The food in this place is tasteless. Ordered a lamb doner and is probably the worst doner I have ever eaten. Doesn't taste anything like one. Literally tasted like cardboard. Also tasted some of the lamb shish. Again.. no seasoning whatsoever. Just a grilled bunch of cubed meat. I'm confused as to how this restaurant has such high reviews. Because the food is atrocious. I guess people have no taste buds. The atmosphere and service of this place is amazing. The food just isn't. Avoid if you like your food.

Service staff is really amazing ,they are so humble and served the food warm and fresh. Environment is really so tremendous. Recommend them for family programme.

Great Turkish Grill kitchen in the area. Near parking facilities and main high street. Ordered the shared platter for max 4 people (1 lamb shish, 1 chicken shish, 1 adana lamb, 2 chops, 4 lamb ribs and a little bit of lamb and chicken kebab, 8 chicken wings on two different rice) but as 2 chops aren't enough for 4 people we added 4 more lamb chops to it (chops are rather small but very good). Starters are very good too and the restaurant is very tidy and clean. They got occasional belly dancing events in there too. Thumbs up will return

£100 for a meal for 4 people, and 3 of us left hungry - we’re just home now cooking ourselves dinner. The chicken shish was served under cooked, then reheated (we think in a convention oven ) - it tasted terrible and got left. The owner denies this below, but suffice to say that my wife left it and didn’t tell me, as I was out with our baby at the time. However, the waiter took the plate full of food that hadn’t been eaten and still charged us. I didn’t find out the food had been left until we left, as my wife was embarrassed. While we’re here I’ll add some more feedback about the specifics of the food: The cheese stuffed filo pastry was very dry and had hardly any filling - we ate one and left the other. The halloumi was cooked badly - charring only on one side, the other side was hardly cooked. The chips are out of a packet from a factory, and are poor quality, were also under cooked. The £6.95 sausage starter is smaller than my thumb. I went straight to Marks & Spencer and bought myself a rump steak which I went and cooked at home straight after leaving this poor establishment. I’m not a keyboard warrior, I’m a person who eats out a lot, and this restaurant is terrible - even for England. It’s also worth noting that the owner cannot deny that we all left hungry, or that the food as generally just of very poor quality. Quite pathetic - a restaurant owner should take the feedback, accept it, apologise for it, and act on it. Do not recommend - save yourself £100 on a poor meal for 3. Seems to me that this large would be dead and buried without Uber Eats.

My order: Mixed Kebab - sloppy and tasteless Iskander - salty and sloppy Hummus - probably the worst I’ve had. Chips - undercooked Poor quality, poor presentation! No representation whatsoever of Turkish food. I forcefully stuffed my face because I was dying of hunger but the taste was just awful. Never again!

Last few times there have not been great. Food looked basic, tasted average and waiters, even though it wasn’t busy just rushed our food out to us with not a hint of a smile. Some items we wanted not available either.

I am a regular customer and I order take away from you every Friday as I like your food ,but today 2nd of June I was extremely disappointed. The rice has been changed to basmati rice which was tasteless,never had basmati rice in a Turkish restaurant,the ribs were chewy and tasteless without seasoning, the chicken doner extremely dry,burned and salty ,even the salad was not the same anymore,just a basic salad from a kebab shop.What happend Efes ? Did you change your chefs ? Usually the food is very good ,but after tonight's experience I might need to find somewhere else to order our Friday's takeaway. This was the 35th order from you guys ,we always order the same things so I can tell the difference. Tonight was a disappointment.

The food... no love. It's a dine in place serving take away food. The seasoning was absent, all food needed more charring and they had a lot of tortilla bread rather than actual pita or Turkish bread. Not good.
