Efes Turkish Restaurant in Dartford

I do just love efes food. Lamb Yoghurt Adana is very tasty. Lots of choice too. Very generous on portions - especially when ordered online too… great food guys keep it up

All the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. All the foods are freshly prepared and very tasty. I am a regular to this restaurant. I used to go to many Turkish restaurants to eat OR take away. I have been regular to this restaurant since I ate the first time. The restaurant has received the "Best Turkish Restaurant in Kent " award. I took my parents to this restaurant for the first time in 2018. They liked the foods very much. My father asked me to take him there once more. I took him again.

Zero stars food came cold then they microwave I told them I wasn't interested and then brought me out another plate which I refused

Fish was way overcooked dry rubbery, chicken sish was same. Flavour tasted okay but dry and tough as old boots. Stop overcooking so much!

We have amazing evening few days ago with singer from Lithuania diamond. Also was surprised with belly dancer it was amazing event with amazing people around us also food quality top class everything it really traditional turkey food flavour atmosphere definitely it need back to this place again for next event like this one . We have salmon dish and mixer kebab us you can see kofta chicken and lamb starters halium grilled sausage humus everything it was delicious definitely visit try your self only issue vitt parking not lot parking spaces outside on mane street also parking need to pay for it .

Went twice in one week The best Turkish restaurant ever When I am near Dartford this is the place I will go to eat

It’s really sad as I’ve come to love Efes over the past few years. Unfortunately the standard of the food has gone really low. I ordered the salmon for my take away yesterday and it was a 2 small pieces of dry shrink and burnt salmon. Not sure what happened - but given the price of the order, I am not comfortable to re-order sadly .

Failed to deliver a main, instead of sending out the dish they forgot they blamed just-eat. I didn't realise the courier cooked and packed the food. Used to order on a regular basis. But not going to any more as they don't care about fixing their error, they just blame others. Hope you go bankrupt.

A brilliant place. The staff are attentive, the food is delicious, the location is great - plenty of parking available. Regularly use the restaurant for takeaways too. The food is well packed and the portions are extremely generous.

We canceled the order with them but never received a refund. The administrator said that they would return the money to us within 22 days, but 30 days passed. We didn't get our money back.((((

Food is hit and miss, some is fresh some isn’t (like the starters for example). Service can be good except the shift manager who told my mum yesterday if she cannot stand the loud noise from the live band she can leave (had a 2 months prior reservation and paid in advance!) . We drove 1 hour to come here .. would not recommend or return !

A pleasant atmosphere, where you eat really well, without exaggerating the prices. A pleasant place where you can have dinner with the family or where you can eat a steak and drink wine with the boys

Visited this restaurant yesterday for a work do and the service was so slow we had to keep asking for our drink orders. The food was dry and very fatty salad looked like it had been left out for days. The only thing I enjoyed was the music, the belly dancer only performed for what felt like 2mins. I will not be going back.

Very disappointed in my delivery. I’ve always had a nice meal from their restaurant, so expected a nice order our Chicken shish kababs were so small it’s a joke. Tiny salad and a bag of bread. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Been here for lunch and dinner on numerous occasions. The staff are always polite and helpful and the food is always good and plentiful. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Great food, it's been ages since I visited Efes and there used to be one in Islington which was great. So I was visiting a friend this weekend and he suggested Efes. The food was full of flavours, each dish was fresh the salad was crisp and the portion sizes were good.

If you are looking for turkish delicious food, look no further. We felt like we are in a 5 star hotel. The service was outstanding 👏.

I ordered a mixed shish kebab, which came with a very small amount of rice and very little roast peppers. Soggy bread under the food. Meat had good flavour but a little chewy and overdone. Manager did take off 10% when issue was raised. Staff are friendly and helpful but food needs a little bit more attention and a bit more of it for your money.

Food was decent but I wouldn't say it massively stands out from other Turkish restaurants. However, service is 10/10 this is where they stand out. I recommend the shish, lamb chops and lamb ribs here it is very tender. The lamb doner was the only average thing here.

Had a great experience in here as we were just on a visit in DARTFORD, we picked up a random train on that Sunday and step off at the last station. Efes seemed great place from the very beginning we’ve passed by and after a small tour in central park and the area around, where everyone was sleeping already I think, being very quiet on the streets, we came back to try the food. Meat was soft and well cooked, sauces were tasty and all the experience was nice overall. The restaurant looks great and it had a vibrant atmosphere. Thank you!

First time visit! The service was good and food was also good and fresh. Sea bass was delicious. The service was little bit slow between starters and mains.

Really nice food accompanied by friendly and attentive staff but also by great ambient and oriental atmosphere. We had a hell of a feast which we found to be great value for money.

Went for dinner with a friend. Ambience and entertainment vibes were very good. Was running very late for our reservation slot, but they told us to come nonetheless. Got there and was seated within 5 minutes despite being busy. Food served promptly and tasted fab and fresh👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Lovely cocktails, too. Belly dancer entertainment an added bonus to a nice evening. Prices reasonable and was served a complimentary simple but nice platter of fruit after our meal. All staff that served us were very good. Definitely recommend.

This place is just fantastic, whether it's a romantic dinner for two❤️ or girls night out 🍹🍸🍷🥂🍾. Seemed to be a theme of large Birthday occasions and some lovely cakes came out 🎂🍰 We missed the belly dancer💃but I've heard this is a great part of the evening. Would thoroughly Recommend. Parking can be an issue 🚙 but if you're happy to walk 🚶‍♂️a few mins, there are car parks further up the high street 😃

First time here tonight for me and my partner and I honestly couldn’t fault it, service was spot on and staff are lovely, food was so good and plenty of it at such a good price. Best restaurant I’ve been too in quite a while. Definitely would recommend

Visited the Efes Dartford for the first time yesterday. Used to work near the original in Great Titchfield St, back in the day, was in my opinion the best Turkish grill in London. The Dartford branch was not a let down, same flavours & original Efes menu. Food was excellent & service was spot on, & that original chilli sauce is to die for. Best grill I've had in years, since last Visited Efes 1 year ago.

One of our local Turkish restaurant. Good set up and aways accommodating. Went to celebrate my boys 11th birthday. Food was very good and flavoursome. One of the better Turkish restaurant around.Have been here a few times and never disappointed.

I had an awesome dinner at a Efes recently. The food was really tasty, especially the mezes and chicken kofte. Great selection of drinks too! The atmosphere was chill, and the service was super friendly. It was a great experience overall, and we're definitely planning to go back soon!

Unexpected entertainment. I have no real qualms with the belly dancer. She was pretty good. But it was so loud I waited outside(along with 5 others). There wasn't many people in the restaurant at the time (7pm) so the manager really should have "read the room", I didn't see many thrilled faces.

Amazing food. So delicious. The flavours are vibrant. Enjoyed the food way too much. I was here on a Wednesday night. It was nice and quiet. Plenty of seats avaliable. They accept card and cash.

Absolutely fantastic! Food is deliciously prepared in a spotless open kitchen using fresh ingredients (very ample portions). Staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. Great atmosphere, especially on Live Music Night. Am never disappointed. My go-to local restaurant for a girls night out or family meal. Keep up the good work Efes team.

I felt this review is a little harsh. I have since been to the restaurant and eat. This was a much better experience. It expensive but very good quality. Not great to be honest. Comes in big cartons basically loaded with rice. Chips were soggy, salad was awful basic a tomato and some lettuce. The meat tasted cheap and not great quality. It is not a cheap kebab place. You don't try you don't know I guess. Cant say I would ever be eating food from this place again. Great if you like rice 😂

Had a great time at this restaurant, went with two of my friends and we were served very quick without having to wait a long time considering that the place was quite busy at the time. The food was very good, we all enjoyed our dinner and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely come back.

We had Lamb Iskender, it was nearly 100 C degrees and all the bread inside has melted like a soup and the meat is nearly dried because of too much heat. The salad that they serviced with the couvert was off, some greens was nearly decayed. In my case, It was absolutely a negative experience. Will think twice before going there again. The atmosphere is always authentic and good but we are not eating the atmosphere, do we?

Some of the best cuisine I’ve ever had! The food was packed with flavour, the waiters will always greet you with smiles and there are eye-catching coloured ceiling lights along with a good selection of music. They also provide you with flavour-rushing starters and sweet-tooth desert, I don’t think, I don’t know, I don’t promise, but I GUARANTEE that you will enjoy this place. There are also drinks and Turkish delight to sidekick your meal.

Was ok for an hour and the music was ramped up which made it almost impossible to have a conversation. Waited around an hour between starter and main. Wouldn't dine there again felt like I was having a meal in a night club.

I had a bad experience with this restaurant,very poor service and poor customer service accepted my order on Uber Eats and later told me they can’t deliver to my area,and asked me to cancel the order that is criminal behavior and act

Fantastic range of mains and starters to suit all. Service is second to none and the atmosphere can be quiet or buzzing depending on the time of day. I highly recommend Efes for lunch, evening meal or a party.

What a great restaurant. We arrived late after the theatre but the staff were very welcoming. The food was amazing. All the staff were lovely and let us take our time. We decided to visit after they reopen. What a comeback! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Been seated straight away from the door..salad and bread with some sauces came even before we ordered some drinks 😍😍 Definitely the best Pina Colada that I ever had😍😍 We ordered starters and mains in the same time, and it was perfect time between, so we didn’t have to rush with starters. Amazing choice of desserts but Kunefe always win👌👌 Atmosphere and music was on top of it, in one moment I felt I’m in Turkey 😜🫣 Definitely coming back! Thank you Efes Team❤️❤️❤️

Good service, atmosphere and food. Unfortunately, if you have some allergies, it’s better to double check with them before booking as the menu is a bit restrictive.

The food in this place is tasteless. Ordered a lamb doner and is probably the worst doner I have ever eaten. Doesn't taste anything like one. Literally tasted like cardboard. Also tasted some of the lamb shish. Again.. no seasoning whatsoever. Just a grilled bunch of cubed meat. I'm confused as to how this restaurant has such high reviews. Because the food is atrocious. I guess people have no taste buds. The atmosphere and service of this place is amazing. The food just isn't. Avoid if you like your food.
