EFES | Original Turkish Kebab in Aberdeen City

Placed order for delivery 90 minutes later, received notification it had been collected - then a further notification my order had been cancelled. I would then have to wait a further hour to reorder! Ridiculous.

Had a Efes last night had doner kebab with Garlic sauce was so good Garlic sause is really good! Food was hot & the portion size of the kebab was massive! Definitely be back!

Shambles of a place. I placed an order over a hour ago and a man came up with the wrong order and I politely told him that and he still hasn’t gave me my order

Absolutely loved it nicely fresh and hot plus proper amount what you paid for chips where hot and fresh. The kofta meat was cooked to perfection and the righ amount this time I been ordering 5 days in arow the same food and only 3 days out of 5was😋

The meat absolutely perfect the kofta was fresh and grilled absolutely amazing food as am very fussy with my food. I couldn’t fault the meat or the fresh salat but the only downside it was the chips not fresh batch double fried but still hot.

Ordered a chicken doner kebab and while the taste was good, I was really disappointed that it was served cold. Not what I expected.

Just had the effes king kebab, salad and garlic sauce. Highly recommend, meat had plenty of flavour and juicy, not to salty either. You could split this as a meal for two with another side dish. You'll need another pitta bread. After eating half the meat I still couldn't fit the rest of salad in the pitta. Cheers guys

Absolutely shocking kebab. The worst in Aberdeen - overly salty, sloppy, cold, and of such poor quality that I wouldn't even consider serving it to my dog.

3rd time poss I’ve ordered from EFES, and once again, good food, delivered in good time by a friendly guy☺️❣️👍🏻 These are more than decent kebabs, and my recent orders haven’t failed to deliver❣️ Nicely marinated chicken (more than enough if you go large), fresh and crisp salad, and the sauces are as good as they were years ago, when we would drive into town every Sunday evening for a treat👍🏻 No humous/purple cabbage, but those are personal preferences - one issue - I’ve eaten too much☺️

this is our favourite on pay day. we pre ordered for delivery no later than 1730. 1810 I get a call from the driver saying he was at the end of the street, I went outside and he waved expecting me to go meet him. I called and he met me at my front door. HE WAS ON A MOTORBIKE!!!a 30sec trip to my door was inconvenient. while tracking my pre order he was either lost or doing something else. never had a problem with this place before but our food is cold, the boxes are smashed and I'm very upset

I ordered skewered lambs and chips the first time and it was splendid, I thought about giving it another try and I regret the choice. The meat was already bad to the point it had me almost puking. I believe it is my last time getting anything from them.

The doner was ok but what was supposed to be chicken in 2 mixed and 1chicken kebabs was just fat it was disgusting

Usually a good kebab shop but will never order from here again, ordered a chicken wrap and the chicken was pink! Like the outside had been cooked but not the inside at all

First by mistake this order gone as collection after 20min the system said for ready for collection I was there and they just started to prepared the food absolutely joke

I've been ordering from EFES for a number of years now, and have honesty never had one bad meal. The quality of food is always fresh and plentiful in taste and would never dare waste my money anywhere else. 10/10

I have more meat than I do chips I pay for a large and I got a kids portion of chips that looks like it came from McDonalds for the price I pay I would have expected a tray full of chips not full of meat and a few chips

Normally high standard, but not tonight, chips cheese and curry sauce delivered as just chips. Pakora just normal batter and bursa cold. New chef?

If you order and have had a few drinks, you get the worst portions, if you come sober, they are nice and polite, you pay for the set while drunk, you come home, open it and half of it is gone, you have to watch their hands.

Wanted to order a kebab, the usual place wasn't open so I thought I'd give this place a bash. It scratched the itch but, not sure I'd order again. There wasn't much doner meat in the munchy box, the chips were really good tho, and the burger was nice too.

Wrap quality is different. Sometimes excellent, but this time was not properly wrapped and lack of salad. Usually very happy with this place, but this time was not good at all. Delivery was great. In time, food still warm.

Kebab good, however the chicken pakoras were dry and small when I ordered a large portion

never got my food, driver waiting on the other side of the road, never phoned or anything and left with out delivering. last time i ordered from just eat and from efes.

Do not order from them. Its second time food wasnt delivered to my door. When phoned to ask what happened with my delivery they were so rude and said its my fault. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Late and no cheese on my chips and cheese with mixed meat 👎🏼

Doner kebab was decent size for a large but salad was a lot to be desired. Just a handful of shredded lettuce and a slice of tomato that’s not exactly a salad lol. Tiny tub of garlic sauce not near enough. They want to charge £1.30 for extra tiny tubs of sauce I’d suggest putting enough over the kebab in the first place. This is what we are paying for!! Then a £1 service charge above that! For what exactly I’m unsure. Just a rip off so won’t be back.

10 out of 10, with delivery there can always be an issue on busy nights , usually spot on with good food , no complaints 🌶️🌶️🌶️

The app was never updated to say it would be late , it only seems to happen with this place, I ordered the food 55 minutes prior to my delivery time, think the restaurant needs some advice/guidance on how the app works, but, food excellent as usual.

Won't be using these guys again. First time I've ever still been hungry after ordering a kebab. The portions were tiny. The chips and curry sauce were a joke, over £5 for what is likely 30p of food at wholesale prices is shocking. The pizza was OK, but of course it was crushed as was placed in the bottom of the delivery bag. On top of this the whole order was stone cold....they might be having "a bad day at the office " but for the prices charged compared to other kebab shops I can't accept this. I'm a first and last time customer at EFES. Avoid!!!!

Meat quality has sadly definitely gone down hill. It tastes gamey and cheap and is gritty and exceptionally greasy. The original meat was great, yes a little fatty but great spices and meat flavour. A real shame as this was once our favourite place but we may need to look elsewhere as couldn’t order this again.

Excellent kebabs but where's my chips?

I have chips cheese and gravy from this place regularly. It's my favourite treat. Now and again they get it right but sometimes it's really bad. That's because they fry the chips more that once which makes them dry, saturated in oil and horrible. Please don't do that to people. Always fry a fresh batch. I know because I used to work in fast food and my boss would do that to save money. I won't be getting them from you again. I'll need to find somewhere that always uses fresh chips. I always get the big portion as well. I am not paying £6.50 for some dry sticks. The gravy and the cheese cannot mask the fact that you can barely bite into them. I hope you do better.

Wasn’t the most enjoyable meal at all, Chiron from kebab was very fatty, Pakora batter was very oily and could taste the grease

Meals were good, usually buy from here but normally its the same thing. Must admit though £6 for 4 tiny baguette slices of cheesy garlic bread was not worth it at all.

I ordered x2 donor kebabs I was given to chicken kebabs, after 1 hr of trying to get there number the staff at efes told me it's not there fault its the drivers fault .I'm now £30 down avoid this company

Been feeling really unwell and this was amazing! Portions looked small but was stuffed by the end of it. One of the only places you can find proper Chicken donner and decently priced too. Definitely added to my favourites!

The taste was alright however the HUGE problem is with the size of the kebab. I ordered a large one however it came in tiny. I was very hungry and I’m still hungry. I thought that it will be big however it was so small that I could eat it in three bites. For me that is a big problem because I always like big kebabs. Extremely tiny, small, minuscule. Literally you need to eat at least 3 kebabs that size to not feel hungry. In one word I would describe this kebab as TINY

Food arrived cold, and the portion side is shocking for the amount spent. £16 king kebab and it's all donor meat with very little chicken or lamb. If fact it's a very small portion of donor meat. Usually these sort if meals with chips easy covers two people eating... But this was terrible! The chips (with cheese) is the smallest portion I've ever seen for £5. I would avoid this place at all costs!

Absolutely loved every food item. Firstly it was very fast delivery and food was hot. Loved the kabab and Kofta bursa.

Easily the best kebab in town. Their chili and garlic sauces are authentic. Lamb is fresh. Even their bursa and pizzas are good. Other shops don’t measure up to their standards.

Asked for chips and doner with chilli sauce and received chips and doner with cheese and some weird sauce that wasn’t chilli. Allergic to cheese and the sauce was awful. All had to go in the bin waste of money
