Efes Kebabs in Merton

Not good at all!! Way below average. Cannot believe the price charged in Uber eats…. It’s a very basic corner kebab shop and they charge £18 for a large lamb shish?! Meat was dry. Chips were dry and limp. Do not recommend. Very unhappy.

After 17 years I visited this place again, it is exactly the same as I remembered it ❤️

We ordered a small kebab and it was £8 but it wasn’t as expected.There was barely anything in it that was worth the money.when I arrived home I was really disappointed.Please don’t order from this shop.And if you do order,please check it at the place and make sure everything is correctly made.

The food is very bad, especially the chicken and fries, disgusting cooking. There are expired products in the cupboard. It's a place that doesn't care about human health. I definitely do not recommend it.

Rotten and expired food delivered to me which has nasty smell. Need a full refund

Absolutely disgusting. Chicken was not cooked properly. Chips looked like they'd just been dipped in the fryer for 10 seconds. Staff are very rude. I will never eat from this place again and I'd advise a lot of people to not go to this kebab shop.

The medium doner kebab here is ok. Price is not bad compared to other kebab shops. Medium lamb doner costs £7. You get a range of salad and veg with one pitta bread. I have to admit that this shop is a hit and miss as I once got a really bad stomach ache after having a kebab here.

I bought a chicken doner wrap today. The chicken smells terrible. Fuuuu

Paid 8.50 for a large lamb doner, felt like it was a medium and the doner itself wasnt even that great. Overpriced.

Terrible food. My chicken shish was a pitta bread full of cabbage with a few pieces of chicken thrown on top.

Used to be quite a regular at this place near enough every day place has gone down hill dramatically Recently Kept on finding hair in my kebabs all the time When you see people Who serve you more dirtier than the shop Was quite ill the last time I deafly won’t ever be coming back that’s for sure disgrace

No compliance with COVID rules. Nobody wearing masks, either side of the counter, handling food with their bare hands and handling money as well without washing their hands. No enforcement of mask wearing for their customers.

Such a shame that this restaurant/takeaway has not only changed their famous chilli sauce recipe after 25 years, where it is now so hot it spoils the food, but the quantity of food now offered is at least 35% less. Efes was a wonderful place, not anymore! 1/10

Food is top notch I come here everyday and the food is impeccable. Staff are calm and very helpful definitely recommend this kebab shop.

hmm, regularly go here but recently the quality has dropped, found four hairs in my food today, was so hungry and had no more cash on me that I just ate it. Won't ever be going back. Ashame really

Great place to grab a shish when all else is shut. Nice guys who put up with all kinds of rubbish behaviour sometimes. Lots of salad and sauce, chips are just the standard fries though.

This place has filled the hole on many a late night. Chicken and doner kebabs easily exceed the standard you'd expect at 2am after 10 pints. The staff are friendly, calm and more relaxed than I would be given the clientele they face at that time of the morning. I've even seen a fight kick off there before, luckily the blood was spilt outside the shop on that occasion. Great local kebab shop. Make sure you try those big yellow peppers they serve, a necessary addition to any doner.
