La comida aquí es increíble, vivo literalmente en el camino y siempre hago tiempo para venir aquí con amigos. Recientemente recibí la comida de tres platos para 12. 99 y tuve que llevar la mitad de mi casa principal conmigo estaba tan lleno. Las ofertas aquí son fantásticas, sin embargo, si pide platos por su cuenta, son bastante caros. Debo admitir que el ambiente era muy tranquilo a pesar de que solo había otras dos mesas comiendo. El personal, por otro lado, fue muy servicial y más que feliz de ayudar. Seguiré comiendo aquí ya que me siento bienvenido y la comida es impecable en mi opinión. Mucho mejor que cualquier otro chip barato que puedas encontrar, es la palabra que la pareja adicional quid.

Comida increíble, porciones decentes y a un precio muy razonable. Muy recomendable. El arroz frito especial fue excelente. El personal fue muy amable.

El restaurante se ve cansado y la comida llegó tan rápido que no se frió, seguro que estaba en el microondas. Mi plato principal era acuoso y sin sabor.

Mala comida, menú caro completamente diferente, nunca más, cargo extra por papas fritas o arroz ahora. El menú realmente malo ha ido mucho más pequeño. No volveré a ir.

great prices and early bird deals. The food is nice and there is plenty of choice on the menu. Early bird 15 course for 12.95 is great value for money, staff are very pleasant and service is quick. They also have a takeaway delivery service, great for when you want to eat while you chill.

Brilliant friendly staff. We were quite a big party and all the food was brought out together and was hot. Well done 👍

The big bird wouldnt let me have/pay extra for duck. Rest of staff where great though to be fair. Food o.k

Well where to start! I used to live in Waterloo and went here a lot as it was really nice food so met up with a friend and we went to have a good chat and good food. There were so many happy hour banquets to choose from (on a Saturday this should have been a giveaway) The lady who served us was friendly enough. The hot and sour soup arrived and it wasnt even bland it was inedable, it looked and tasted what imagine dirty dish water left over night (when you get that rancid scum floating on the top) would tastle like. No-one throoughout the meal asked us if everything was ok as i think they have stopped doing that for fear of someone actually telling them the truth, when the soup was taken from the table almost full nothing was said. Next onto the mixed platter! Deep fried crab stick was actually one of then pink and white crabsticks you get in a pack totally disgusting, the ribs mainly bone and full of grizzle, the spring rolls had a brown goo inside the same of the curried puff I dont even want to think what it was. The seaweed (oh no sorry there was a teaspoon full for 2 people so I cant review that as there was none to review) Just shocking! Again most of the food left and the waitress still didn't ask if everything was ok. We also got drink that came out of can I assume, I i shandy so warm beer with cheap lemonadedoes not make for a nice drink! Mains, mine came 15 mins before my friends as they had made a mistake with his so we didnt even get to eat together. Ii has singapore vermichelli, so was looking forward to the chicken, port, beef, succulent prawns, nice spice associated witht the said dish. What came was rice noodles a bit of manky chicken and what i can only think was chopped up spam, again totally disgusting. My friends meal arrived which he said was just ok. What topped it off was the waiter who thought he was a comedian, the type if he was in a comedy club would have eggs thrown at him and probably whatever ever else you could get your hands on! Dont get me wrong he was probably just trying to be nice but coupled with the diabolical meal and the zero atmosphere he JUST not helping and should just wind his neck in! On to the deserts, couldnt tell you we got the bill and legged it! If you want big portions of crap and pay as little as possible for your meal then this is the palce for you, if you want a decent meal i can honestly say DO NOT GO HERE.

I personally don't see how this place has good reviews as the food we was served was cold and greasy. Sent soups back as they were bearly warm, the one that came back was hot but not a bit of meat in it, supposed to be char sui and chicken in it. After that we just ordered some duck and starters. Suck was cold, spring rolls were dripping with grease. Just a terrible experience. We won't be going back there again

We (a couple) found this restaurant as we were looking for somewhere casual to have Friday night dinner at a reasonable price. We opted for edwards as it was near to where we live and had good feedback from other people who live in the area. We had the 12.50 deal which was a starter main and dessert. Could not fault the food at all, there is a chy restaurant around the corner which is a lot more expensive but the quality is not a lot better than edwards. All aspects of the meal were very tasty and the staff were attentive and very polite. Having been to much more expensive chinese restaurants edwards rivals them in food quality. The amount of people getting deliverys and pickups was also very high which is a testament to the food quality. I will most definitely be returning.

I went for dinner with my girlfriend Sunday 25th Feb. 1st time in ten years. Had the £12.50 meal. Chicken & sweetcorn soup was horrible. Stock thickened with arrowroot, a few bits of corn and no visible chicken. Egg should used to thicken it, My King Do ribs were good but the spring rolls were glutinous ribs like the soup. Beef in black bean with green pepper was good. I chose fried beef with chilli & was offered an option of fried crispy beef for an unspecified extra. Beef was tender but came in a sweet sauce, not chilli. £1.50 extra. Wine list was very poor. No Chilean Sauvignon or Muscadet like they used to sell. Waitress let us try the French house white & we reluctantly bought a bottle. Bad mistake. It was foul. I think you could get a decent meal if you pick your food & wine carefully but I won't be returning.

this restaurant is a little gem, came across it and was abit taken aback by the outside appearance & the fact I had never heard off it before, however was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was and for the price off it was so worth the money will definitely return!!!!

Great Friendly Place special banquet for 2 so much to eat great taste great flavours lovely food, good amount ,reasonable priced bar as well takeaways too look forward to going again need to starve yourself all day

Been to Edwards lots of times and thought it was about time I wrote a review. The food is excellent and great value for money. Whether you want just a meal or a banquet I would definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant. Good service and tasty food. Enjoy.

Solemos ir aquí mucho ya que es el mejor chino alrededor. Es muy razonable y la comida siempre es deliciosa. El personal es muy amable, 3 En particular, la señora Shirley, Inglés y Inglés hombre cuyos nombres no sé. No puedes equivocarte si quieres buena comida a un precio estupendo.

Went along last week first ordered drinks and I have a can of coke, flat as a fluke they then replaced it with guess what another flat can of coke. My starter was ribs and I have say just about edible my wife ordered veg Spring rolls not sure what was inside looked like the veg had all turned a guy brown and tasted horrible. We both left area in meals not sure what they served us but it was not on the menu. Cannot be bothered to write anymore don't know why I am now

We ordered a take-away last week that consisted of an sharing starter and banquet for three people. The delivery took about fifteen minutes less than the forty five minutes quoted when we ordered. The food was piping hot and was really good quality. The only criticism that I have is that they put the seaweed on the bottom of the container with other starters and it made it go soggy. There were two types of ribs, both delicious, plenty of Sui Mai (9 in total). The main courses were really nice and again, there was plenty of food. The whole meal was excellent and realistically priced. Overall, it well worth trying.

After numerous visits here over the last few years and previously writing an excellent review I've got to be honest with my visit last night normally Edwards is fantastic but last night it was awful the ribs we ordered had hardly any meat on I've seen more meat on a flys private parts the duck was as burnt as my cousins body whose recently been cremated our main meal of fried beef in garlic had enough garlic in it to keep Dracula away it's gone down the pan this place which is really annoying as it's been one of mine and my partners fave places to go

Always have a lovely meal and a great time.Been going here for many years and have fond memories of family get togethers.....Food is very good and well presented.

We visited this Chinese restaurant and our first impressions were that the premises were in real need of refurbishment. Filthy carpets on the stairs, paintwork off colour and the premises were generally grubby throughout !The food was of average quality and the staff were miserable and offhand !Don't bother !

Me & My Friend regularly go here for a chinese on a Friday evening always found the staff lovely and the meals have always been excellent would highly recommend this restaurant.

Been here numerous times over the past few years must say it's absolutely fantastic the kin do ribs are to die for staff are very friendly and efficient got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Liverpool

If u want a cheap Chinese meal then this is the place for u, we got the buffet set menu, soup was not bad and got a top up as the big bowl of it was left at the table to be finished off,starters were so fresh and well cooked, not overcooked as can so often be the case, also because there were 4 of us we got a free 1/4 of crispy duck, main meals were good but by that time we were full so a lot of rice was left, drinks were medium priced not overpriced as usual in chinese restaurants. to some up i would say good fresh food, drinks nice price and staff were ok to.

I was a little dubious about going to Edwards, as I'd heard mixed reviews. I can't fault the food or the service. Both were excellent. Very enjoyable, and with a drink, still well under £20.

Warm Welcome friday night at about 9 few table taken my friend and myself had a few drinks usually go to Chinese Delight but its closed so off we went to Edwards ordered drinks and meal they came food was lovely just like i used to get when i lived in Hong Kong really really nice to get here in the UK we will be returning on our girls night out will take the family too

brought our son for a birthday meal it is a while since we have been so not sure if edwards have been taken over. we were shown to our table our son asked if we could order a round of drinks, which by the look on her face seemed too much of an effort, he said its alright ill go to the bar. plates were thrown down on the table. when food came starters were ok. main meal chicken in cantonese sauce was tasteless and cold as it was brought on cold plate.female waitresses were very abrupt. will not be coming back here in a hurry. also bad smell of damp within the restaurant.

Lovely meal here last night, set menu of 4 courses (could only manage 3) great value for money. Food was really nice, staff friendly. Would defo go again

We visited Edwards in Great Georges Road Waterloo recently on a Thursday night. The place was empty when we arrived. The decor was looking tired and in need of an upgrade. The staff were pleasant but the service was fairly slow. The food was good, but left a bad thirst afterwards. the portion size was average and nothing was left. We went for the early bird menu which provided good value for money. Drinks as always were fairly expensive, but no more than other similar restaurants. All in all a pleasant enough experience, would I go back? I doubt it.

Sorry but this was possibly the worst takeaway I have ever had .. no sooner Had I put the phonecdown there was a knock with my food .. salt and pepper ribs had about 2 mini slices of onion and a slice of chill the ribs deep fried in a tough batter . Spring rolls were not nice and the duck garlic spring onion was a joke it was grey the duck had not been sealed and was sloppy and slippy it was yuk . If you like fat this is your place Possibly the worst meal ever .. we called the golden harvester in Bootle and they said call Edwards which was them as they were closer .. alarm bells should have rang then ..

We dine from here a lot the delivery service is excellent and the ordered are always correct. Would rate a five but when you dine in the restaurant there is almost a bit of a damp smell. The customer service is great on the phone but again when we dine in they can be a little abrupt. The prices are excellent value for money as the food is delicious.

Just had a lovly family birthday meal at this chinese restaurant. ...fantastic food and fantastic friendly staff. ...had an enjoyable night 9 adults ....not even a problem to accomodate a gluten disorder ...staff very knowledgeable regarding food allergies...highly recommended and will gladly return ...13.50 banquet was filling so staff bagged it up for nxt day .xxx thank you xxx

Staying in Crosby for Valentines weekend... We went for a lovely Thai meal at lunch and headed to Edwards at around 9pm Saturday evening for dinner... What a contrast to our lunch! The Coke was flat, the starter came... Plentiful, the Beef Satay was excellent but the salt and pepper chicken was absolutely over the top with salt although the chicken was cooked well, crisp batter and tender chicken... It was nice for a few mouthfuls but then just way too salty. The main course came - again one dish would have been plenty for two people so cannot complain about quantity... But sadly it was really bland, tasteless and the mushrooms were not barely cooked! We didn't enjoy the meal and definitely wouldn't recommend it again.

The three of us opted for the fixed menu at 12.99,everything was tasty and hot,service was very good.I believe this place has a good take away service to.We enjoyed the Chinese tea also.Will return when visiting friend s in Liverpool .

Food is ace; staff are friendly and attentive and they will find you a table even if they're busy (we sometimes just pop in on spec as we are rubbish at planning anything). Great value for money and the take away is as good as what you get in the restaurant!

Order from Edwards quite regularly and in general food is always hot and tasty both takeaway and eating in the restaurant so much so we had our wedding day reception in this restaurant!

Went to this restaurant for the first time 08/11/2014. Will definitely be going again, food was delicious there was four of us and we all ordered something different with the same comments from everyone, the nicest Chinese food we have tasted in a long while. When the bill arrived we were doubly delighted as the cost was very reasonable.

Another restaurant offering great value and very good service. A stones throw away from our hotel and well worth a visit.

Ordered take away got everything except seaweed portion for two! What did arrive was barely a teaspoon full. When I Rang to complain I was advised there was nothing they could do but they would happily sort it for next time. I advised them that this was not acceptable, then they said they would deliver a portion. Do not order this, as I was informed on the telephone although it is on the menu you will not receive a sufficient amount!!!! if you like seaweed for two dont expect more than a teaspoon full each.

Above average chinese food served to you by helpful and attentive staff. Portions are great in the restaurant and takeaway portions are huge.The restaurant boasts linen tablecloths and napkins and always appears clean. Well worth a visit.

We visit this restaurant quite often , only fair that do I a review-The food is excellent - Lovely hot & sour soup - variety of starters all delicious and mains - Edwards has a variety of set menus - Banquets for 2 or more - Set 5 course - Set 15 course and of course the A la Carte menu to choose from - There is plenty of choice to suit all tastes and budgets and the food and service is always excellent . We have recommend Edwards to our friends and family who equally agree how good the Chinese food is here !!
