Popped in for some food and coffee. We had the sausage roll and the Cornish pastie with chorizo. The food hit the spot it was lovely and warm and the coffee was excellent. Place was very busy and managed to get table inside. Also had a lovely rhubarb slice of cake which was just yummy.

Rosanna made a large custom cake for a friend’s birthday celebration. Tasted great, looked beautiful. Prices very reasonable, especially given the attention to detail. The cheese scones are worth popping in for too. Pies not served.

A cheese toastie is not something I would usually have for breakfast but this toastie was a exception to the rule. Primarily a bakery supplying local businesses with wonderful cakes and pastries this place is a little hidden gem. Go try.

My friend had stopped by the day before I did and raved about their cinnamon buns so I had to try for myself and it did not disappoint. The bun was thick and loaded with cinnamon and a delicious icing on top. I stopped by for a peppermint tea and bun before heading into the town center for the fringe for the day. I would recommend this as a great stop off and a nice treat! Things to note: - There is limited seating, so consider take away if you're with a group - They only have filter coffee but assorted teas

Absolutely love this little bakery! The owner is super sweet and makes such an awesome range of treats :) Every day the menu is different which is definitely an excuse for going over and over again hahaha She also usually has lots of gluten free and vegan options which are unbelievably delicious! Bought a few for my friend and she didn't beleive me that it was vegan!

We went to 101 Bakery this morning for the first time. Super friendly owner (Rosanna) and amazing home bakes! We sat in and enjoyed our coffee and home bakes, and discussed our requirements for a wedding cake that Rosanna will make for my son and his fiancee's wedding. So pleased to have found this gem of a place!!!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
