The service at the Post Office counter is excellent, I use the postal services for my business and have nothing but praise for all the staff. Local, friendly and a great service.

😄 Exemplary village post office with helpful staff. Christine reopened the Post Office counter to help my husband buy a set of first day stamp covers. A village post office, store and cafè with customer service second to none! After witnessing the gradual decimation of village post offices in recent years, and more recently watching Mr Bates -v- The Post Office, they certainly need to re-examine their USP... & they certainly have it in spades at Edgworth Post Office! 💯%

Edgeworth is a lovely quaint village that is tranquil and peaceful. I am the daily postman collection driver and if you're wanting a day out, stop by here for a bite to eat. They do takeaway too, and the food is excellent and homemade from local produce. The ladies here are lovely and will cater for ALL your needs. Very polite, conversant nothing's too much trouble. But don't take my word for it, try it out yourself, you won't be disappointed, trust me...

A great asset for the everyone in Edgworth. The staff are always cheerful and helpful and happy to help. The post office offers a full range of services and best of all you can use your debit card to withdraw cash. They also sell a wide range of home made soups which are genuinely of restaurant quality.

Called in walking in area with my wife had a lovely coffee and amazing cake which I believe are home baked , staff very friendly which is a bonus as not always the case . Thanks for the coffee and cakes ☺️

Fantastic cafe and really relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and staff really friendly.The food is absolutely amazing – everything we had was amazing especially the homemade soups and cakes delicious. highly recommend .

Despite being a busy post office it is well organised and the staff, especially the Post Mistress, are extremely pleasant, informative and helpful. They provide an Amazon collection service which is very handy. The village would be a safer place without this post office

Great little cafe, , great food and staff. Peaceful and laid back, I like it here 😀 Been a few times now and the experience is consistent, the standards never waiver, give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

It has breakfast, lunch and pasties. You can post and collect from amazon, it has all your basic needs and is right in the village centre. What more could you ask for.

Great stop for a bite to eat and a drink on our occasional bicycle rides. The hot pies and drinks are wonderful - all with friendly service.

A birthday eve visit to this delightful little cafe/shop in the beautiful village of Edgworth. The food was delicious and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble for the lady in charge, Lynda - she is definitely in the right job! We’ll be back.

One of the better post orifices. Generally friendly and helpful, but occasionally like all post offices forget who's the customer and grumble about having to provide a service. Still one of the better ones though - probably explains how bad others are. Keep Archaic hours.

Had a chicken barm cake with stuffing and salad cream and if that sandwich had been a car.... it would have been a Masarati, if it were a dancer, Rudolf Nureyev...perfume, Chanel No. 9...it was that good. Either that or I was starving...

I met up with two friends for a late breakfast at this lovely cafe. They are regulars but it was my first visit. It definitely won't be my last. The food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for Lynda who served us.

Running a computer business we contact people all over the world. Still there are times when traditional letters & parcels need to be sent. This great little post office in Edgworth is excellent for handling all our needs. Green Soft Ltd

We popped in for breakfast, as we were staying in self-catering accommodation up the road ... and what a gem! Served by the lovely Linda, we couldn't fault the breakfast or the service. Will certainly be back when we're visiting relatives near Bolton!

Friendly & helpful, this village store stocks those basics that you've just run out of. There's no ATM in the village so the post office counter provides an invaluable cash dispensing service

This is a wonderful local shop and post office and yes you can talk to the staff as well, that's what a village shop does.

This is an add on to the local post office with a lovely garden for good weather days. The food is fresh, tasty and served by friendly staff. What makes it stand out however are the daily soups. They are imaginative, thick and tasty. Wild garlic, sweet potato, chilli and garlic, bacon and chick pea are examples. Also serves good value children's meals.

The food is all cooked fresh and the sandwiches are fantastic and very good value. However a word of caution the cakes look far too nice and I am forced to buy them every time I go in

Only called to post a letter but ended up with the best Ice cream i have had in a long time... You got to try this

This is a very welcoming cafe run by local people and used by many local people.A lovely bowl of soup with fresh bread,a piping hot jacket potato or a lovely sandwich.

Totally reliable - fab home made soups, light lunches. Wonderful all day breakfasts and home made cakes. What more can you ask for!

Stopped off for a Sandwich and a Coffee - was not disappointed! Food was excellent - quality products served. Only issue was that they offer both a take away and an eat in service. Looked at the eat in prices and they were considerable bit higher than those for take out... so as it was a nice day took them out and nibbled on the wall opposite... Yes would happily return... but for takeout!

Waited at counter for about 10 mine to wait for women who was on counter to stop having her conversation 😂
