Edgbaston Cafe in Birmingham

Fantastic little café just off Hagley Road. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, impeccable service and delicious food. We will definitely be visiting again!

Traditional cafe. Unpretentious surroundings. Reasonable prices. I had the breakfast and a cappuccino. £12.45. Standard breakfast is large. I will return. The owner, polite and efficient .

You cannot fault the breakfast here, everything is cooked to perfection. Great service. Parking right outside too.

Gone down hill . I have this place a 5 star review previously and now have to change it unfortunately. Poor service and poor quality food . Started off great - it’s a shame when businesses start to lower service and standards, won’t be back

This is the second time I’ve dragged myself out of bed to have breakfast at this place early in the morning and they are not open !! So unprofessional and waste of my time ! Change your opening hours as people are travelling from homes to Come to your establishment

Lovely little cafe! There was a wait for food but we didn't mind as there was only one person cooking and it was fresh. Definitely worth visit ☺️

Absolutely lovely little cafe prices are cheap for the food you get, the man who served us was absolutely lovely and made sure we were looked after, it was busy when we arrived but the 20 minute wait was worth it and they checked in on us at all times making sure we were okay, would highly recommend

Ordered 6 sandwiches for members of staff at Ladywood leisure centre round the corner and they were really quick and got the order perfect. Everyone said they loved their sandwiches so thanks for catering to us on such short notice!

We popped in whilst walking by on a wet and dreary morning. The welcome we received was not only warm it was friendly! The food and service were both excellent, we really enjoyed spending some time here before moving on. Thanks again for the type of breakfast we all wish we could cook at home, but always fail to!

I recently experienced the most incredible English breakfast at EdgebAston Cafe. The perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and flavorful sausages left me in breakfast heaven. The attention to detail in every element, from the buttery mushrooms to the golden hash browns, showcased the chef's Touqeer expertise who came personally to our table to ensure our requirements, The ambiance and friendly service added to the overall delightful experience. This breakfast truly sets the standard for a 5-star morning indulgence!

We were staying up the road at the Strathallen Hotel, 5 minutes walk away, and thought we'd go to a proper old school British cafe for Breakfast. This place didn't disappoint. They serve a proper English breakfast, in fact the hash brown was probably the best I've ever had, however everything else was also very well cooked and presented. And not overpriced either ! The service, as you'd expect, was relaxed, informal and very freindly. So if you're staying anywhere near Monument Road in Edgebaston, Birmingham and want a proper English breakfast without being ripped off, pay this place a visit. I'm sure you'll be glad you did !

Bobby is a really good manager the chef is a really good cook

Came in with my wheelchair, the manager was so kind as to help me get it up the step. He was very friendly and chatty. Food was excellent and great for my partner's dietary restrictions. Definitely coming again next time I'm in Birmingham!

This is a hidden Gem, great service and food and you can even have a beer or wine with your meal, I had a full English with extras thoroughly enjoyed.

The breakfast is amazing, brilliant service, lovely menu and very tasty food, cooked to perfection and also caters to cook the way you ask for it 😁 I’ve been 4 times now and it’s been spot on every time! You can eat in or takeaway. And it is very clean. Compliments to the chef 😊 I’m going today and can’t wait for it to open!

Dropped in after a nightshift at the hospital desperate for a bite to eat! Had the BEST sandwich and as the name implies it was simply the best! Very tasty and reasonably priced! The owner and chef were both incredibly polite and I didn't have to wait long at all! Will definitely be returning Thanks guys

Recently visited this amazong cafe close to my house. Prices are decent for a full english breakfast and whats even better is the fact that there are more options in the breakfast where you can add more stuff to your breakfast depending on your appetite, obviously for a price but very reasonable. The service was amazkng as well and Bobby is the guy who served us well , would definitely go more often!

Not good food The poor man has kept the rate of eating 🤮

Owner and staff were friendly enough and the presentation of the breakfast was excellent but the two main components of the fry-up were below par in my opinion. The bacon was dry, hard and tasteless and the eggs were bland. Despite this, I enjoyed the breakfast enough overall although I wouldn't pay £7.50 again unless the standard of these two items improved (A cheaper breakfast is available btw). Also, a couple of friends who have sampled the bacon & eggs echo my thoughts too. I'm sure the owner will take my criticism on board so don't write this place off just yet. I just had to be honest with my review.

Amazingly delicious breakfast at a very affordable price. Edgbaston Cafe is deffo my go-to place now for a fry-up.
