I'm a big fan of this place! It's pretty cosy but the quality of the food is really good, with some great pizza options on offer too. Would highly recommend.

Today we decided to eat and taste your pizza. We ordered 4 pizzas all different and all good. The thing that surprised us was to find the pizza box folded upside down. This was funny and made us laugh 👏🏻👏🏻😂😂😁😁🔥🔥🔥

Very pleasantly surprised by a top quality pizza - I had the mixed topping 14” and the goat’s cheese and fig half was exceptional - and very attentive service.

Had a bit of difficulty with the delivery (not their fault, always have issues with delivery as we don’t appear on maps for some reason). The lady on the phone and the driver were fantastic and although it took a bit longer the food got here and was still hot and excellent. Would definitely order again!

Ecco is my favourite restaurant in Headingley. The pizzaiolo is excellent; perfectly baked Napolitanian pizza. High quality ingredients; the tomate sauce is delicious. The best part is the staff, professional and friendly. If you have the opportunity, please have a pizza at Ecco's and will never come back to soulles pizza chains.

Fantastic little Pizza place, just opposite the Premier Inn. Delicious Pizza, reasonably priced and friendly service. Doesn’t serve alcohol, but there’s a pub across the road if you fancy a beer after your meal. Plan on going back to try their Pasta 👍

Authentic woodfired pizzas, halal and to make it even more tasty genocide-free. What more can you ask for? We also had the mushroom pasta which was beautiful and the gelato was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Our favourite pizza place in Leeds. The food is amazing, and the service is always fast and friendly. Their pizza is top notch, as is the gelato. (My parents visited recently and raved about the gelato.) They have veggie and gf options too, and work to support community and student orgs. They even hosted our shabbat get together one Friday! Anytime we need pizza, we order Ecco. Keep up the awesome food and even more awesome community support, guys!

The pizza at Ecco looked great, but sadly, it didn’t taste good and even made me sick. Definitely not going back. EDIT after the owner's response: 1. I don't understand the relevancy of the political statement to my review. 2. I am gratified to hear that the mozzarella pizza was replaced due to sanitary reasons. One could only hope that the owner has since rectified the issues of cleanliness and hygiene. 3. In response to the false claim of photo fabrication, I have provided my Google Maps history as evidence that the photo is genuine and that I did visit the pizza place in 2019. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate the doctor's appointment for the following day.

Its perfectly fine Neapolitan Pizza, if that that's your bag. Cooked on a proper wood fired oven. Base ever so slightly thicker than other places, which isn't a bad thing. Knocked a star off for the beef pepperoni masquerading as proper pepperoni, at least state it in the menu and give us a chance. The ice cream was 👌🏼

Lovely pizza, the lady that served us explained what our pizza was because the base was tahini instead of tomato and no cheese in case we had mis ordered, but it was excellent and very different.

First time and I was pleasantly surprised, after reading some reviews wasn’t sure what I would feel but gave it a chance and was glad as we will be going again. Food was fresh, served quick even though they seemed quite busy. Pizza was authentic (base fresh better than your normal takeaway) and fresh, loaded fries, chilli prawns, chicken wings, deserts were also wow and the ice cream was the best I have had. Only down side is was seating area is small but hope they expand one day! Staff were also very friendly x

Uber Eats driver here. Just delivered a customer's order from this place, only to find out when I arrived that the drink had spilled all over the pizza because the restaurant doesn't take any reasonable precautions to avoid or mitigate drink spillages in transit. While we all take our own precautions, it is an inevitability with our job that a drink will spill eventually, no matter how safely and sensibly we drive. As a result, the customer has received a pizza that I was told to put in the bin, and I've had to drive 10 miles from the customer back to my house to clean out my delivery bag. Luckily the customer saw the packaging and was polite to me about it, realising that it was the restaurant's fault for poor packaging, but we often get abuse from customers over things like this, and I don't appreciate poor packaging that exposes delivery drivers to this danger. Additionally, I've lost a couple of hours' delivery income (on a Sunday, which is usually the busiest day of the week for me) and wasted petrol because of the 10 mile drive back to my house from the customer's location, as well as having to spend time cleaning out my delivery bag and wait for it to dry before I can get back to work. This is a problem that could easily be solved if the restaurant simply put cling film around the cup to contain spillages, or exclusively used cans for any drinks for delivery. Alternatively, the restaurant could've alerted me to the drink being in a takeaway coffee cup, and requested that I place it in my car's cup holder. In its efforts to save a negligible amount of money on cling film and get me out of the door with the order as quickly as possible, the restaurant has probably lost the customer I delivered to, as well as having to refund the customer for damaged items. Just start buying cling film to wrap your drinks, for Christ's sake. It'll save you money in the long run and make for a better experience for everyone involved in the delivery process, as well as ensuring you don't lose customers over drink spillages. Very disappointing. Although I haven't tried it, the food does look nice; I'm sure my customer would've enjoyed it if it wasn't covered in the drink that they ordered. Also, the restaurant itself seems like a nice place to have a pizza.

It’s been almost 10 years we go to ECCO with my husband. We came back from Italy after living there for years and it was difficult to find good Italian food, we tried many other restaurants, and this is the only place with delicious traditional and REAL Italian Neapolitan food imo. The pizza are fantastic, fresh and super tasty. We always go for the classic bufalina pizza. Fresh bread, tasty sauce and fresh cheese. I love that I can watch the chef make my pizza and see it in the traditional open pizza oven. They also have the best Caesar salad I have had in England too. It’s a real one which was also difficult to find around here. We always drive a bit to get there that’s how much we love the food. The price are fair and it is always a good and cozy ambiance. It’s great to go on your own, couple, with friends, for business lunch or with family. The staff is always very friendly, professional and sweet. We always have a good time. Thank you everyone! ❤️🫶🏻

Ordered food online, took more than an hour to arrive. Tried to call the restaurant in the meantime, but no answer to multiple calls. Food finally arrived cold, with a poor meat/sauce-to-base ratio.

We recently pre arranged to have 90 pizzas delivered to our wedding reception in Leeds city centre. Ecco were very easy to correspond with, gave us a very fair price and delivered them all at once and on time! Thanks so much, oh and the pizza was really tasty as well!

Ordered their chicken caesar salad through Ubereats and found a LIVE slug in my food. I am beyond disappointed and have never had such an experience. Reported through Uber and have just been given the run around.

Well very bad experience this time lady over the counter very unprofessional she is literally shooting when she took our order. We placed our order 22:15 and she was telling us we closed 22:30 you have to take out i told her we travel 15 miles for only sitting in and enjoy our food then she throw box away and give very bad attitude. Food is good but only thing ruined our dinner the lady with no manners. To be honest place served good food but its worth it to put friendly staff behind the counter should be educated how to talk with customers. I was looking for a halal place to eat in Leeds, as I was visiting the Headingly area. This place came up, and I tried it out. I've been back again recently and it was as good as the first time. We ordered chicken tenders which were some of the best I've had, served with a punchy sauce. The garlic bread with cheese was delectable. The pizza was made within minutes in the wood fired oven and was delicious. The crust and dough overall were authentic and reminded me of the pizza I've had in Italy. They serve home made gelato and the service is very good. Parking is a touch difficult, but the options and overall taste are brilliant. Highly recommended.

We went out for a spontaneous meal and we are so glad we went here! The food was delicious and arrived so so quick in like 5 minutes. The service was amazing too, especially by Emilio. He was very attentive and friendly. The value for money was great too- no complaints here! We will defo be back and we recommend it so much! :))

Best pizza I’ve ever had. Authentic Italian in every aspect from ingredients to music to staff. The kind of place where I felt confident trying something different and I was not disappointed!! Also very reasonable price, even more so because I shared one pizza with my date and we were both full!

Visited as a family of 3 this evening. The service was fantastic-the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. The food came out quickly and was super tasty. The food was good value for money, especially considering the large portions. We all LOVED the chicken tenders; they were perfectly cooked and very very tasty. My husband ordered a Bombay Pizza with less cheese and the chef followed the instructions to make a great pizza. The mushroom tagliatelle was superb (very rich so I’ve managed to save a portion for lunch tomorrow too), and my 6 year old’s kids meal was excellent too. Not a slice was left! The mango sorbet was amazing, so fresh and the perfect end to the meal. Would highly recommend Ecco Pizzaria.

I am a somewhat regular customer… never been disappointed! Not generally a pizza fan; but I love, love, love THESE Pizzas …. Toppings are creative and healthy! Love, love,love the pastas and ooo the garlic prawns….. Love love love the perfect ice cream. Heaven on a dish. Never too noisy. All diners tend to be well behaved… staff friendly and are happy that you came… Affordable… what more could you want?

Literally the best pizza in Leeds! I have to stop myself from ordering too much because it’s so good. My partner and I always get the Athens pizza, Bombay pizza, chicken wings and wedges. I’m moving to Thailand and genuinely sad that I won’t be able to get Ecco over there!

Dined here with family on Saturday night Amazing pizza, chicken wings, dough balls. The sea salt caramel gelato is the best I’ve had!!! Amazing service..accommodated all our needs perfectly and we were a group of 15 including children! Highly recommend and definitely would be returning!

As a self proclaimed pizza enthusiast, I love this place! Amazing pizza, the base itself is light, airy, with the right amount of chew and bite in the crust. The toppings are always in the perfect ratio to create the best balance of flavours. The staff are friendly, the place itself is clean, presentable and suitable for a date night or a family meal out. I went with a 4 yr old and a 1yr old on a vegan diet. The food was excellent, prepared to a high standard and tasted great- my 4 year old ate half a pizza ( which is a lot for her). The restaurant is clean and comfortable, I didn’t realise they had a later opening time- so came 30 mins before opening, they were very accommodating and let us in anyway, something I was very grateful for. I Highly recommend them!

Haven't visited here for many a year, not since Arndale house had offices before it was made into a Premier Inn, but it's as how I remembered it, pizzas ordered by the 1/2 metre, all made fresh, a proper pizza oven, excellent friendly service,food tasted great. Highly recommended

Have been many times including last month. Top class Neapolitan pizza, wood-fired, great ingredients. Off-menu calzone was fantastic.

We booked for a group of six, the staff were very friendly and helpful, it was quiet when we arrived, though did get busier, which meant the lovely staff, got really busy too, the food was excellent as always, I tried a pasta dish, for a change, very tasty and filling, took what I couldn't manage home, all in all a very good time, will be returning.
