Eat Thai Takeaway in Doncaster

Please come off just eat! I have ordered from you 5 times now and every time I pre order at 9am you cancel my order at 5pm!!!!! Very unprofessional if you deal with the orders don’t be on there you getting a bad reputation for it now! Shame the one time I did try the food it was nice but I will look for another restaurant that can deliver because that’s what just eat is for!

Can’t comment on the food, ordered through justeat , website states that it’s open tonight (Tuesday) waited for confirmation of my order 55 minutes later my order was canceled with no explanation why I tried calling over a dozen times but got no answer.

First time we have ordered from here. Lovely food, nice menu selection, quick delivery . . . really nice, we will be back for more.

Just had a takeaway delivered it was awful. All the food was like cardboard. We ordered fish cakes to start they were like rubber. The chips weren’t cooked properly. We ordered a duck dish there was 4 pieces of duck in there. Not nice food at all would never order again.

Ok,let’s get things straight.Cockroaches don’t have to mean the place is dirty. I was here for the food on recommendation,and I was so so disappointed. The staff are welcoming however the food isn’t. I went for a salad to start,very watery and far too much lettuce. For main I had a curry and asked for it extra hot.As well as being like they’d left the tap on it(so watery)there wasn’t any kick to it at all.Considering their top end price tag I was expecting far greater quality. My advise: Avoid,look elsewhere or go to a supermarket and buy a commercial Thai dish,I’m sure it will be far far tastier. In a nutshell: Poor quality and overpriced.

We stumbled across Eat Thai on Just Eat and it was fabulous! Great curry and pad Thai. A word of caution if you don't like spicy food as the pork salad was very hot although delicious. We will be ordering again.

Positives this is my 2nd takeawy all the food is delicious currys and rice have been so good. Negatives.... Really disspaionted that the Papaya Salad (Som Tum) that arrived this evening was missing the roasted crush peanut and starters both times have arrived cold and the ribs werent my favorite! Would have awarded full stars without the slight issues

Shocking Customer service !!!!!!!!!!!!! Half the food gets delivered after waiting a hour and half to find half missing , then get told to warm the rest up in the microwave the rest arrives ,Some kind of joke surely !! Last order DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE if you want to eat together!! Such a let down again !!!

My & I were on a visit to see relatives near by & Doncaster play Newport at rugby. Enjoying Thai food we chanced on this small but friendly cafe. The service was friendly quick & the food plentiful & tasty . They even allowed us to bring in our own drinks.

Fantastic food, delivered promptly and at a good price, although we did get a slightly different dish to what was ordered. I will be very happy to eat here repeatedly.

My wife has been ordering food from here for a while now when we feel like a treat, it's just simple beautiful food and happy to pay the money because if I ate it going out to a restaurant I would think it was a bargain. Never had a bad order in about 10 months.

The visit here came as a recommendation from a friend in Doncaster. It's a takeaway, but has two small tables so you can eat in if you wish. Ignore the local 'girls' and the nutters who seem to always single me out and enjoy a fantastic home cooked Thai experience. Well recommended if you are out and about, on your own. as for the takeaway side they deliver as well.

Although not the cheapest, you pay for the quality here. Authentic thai dishes with fresh ingredients and full of flavour. This is an unsung jewel in Doncaster's culinary offer!

First time for us and came across it by chance driving past. Very friendly owners and a good choice on the menu. 3 of us ate takeaway and mixed the choices up. All cooked fresh as we could hear the chefs busy. Food was delicious and in my opinion and having visited Thailand recently very authentic. Give it a try im sure you will be impressed.

quite a humble little place but i called in and super friendly staff.A baried manu but what a joy to have some pretty authetic thai food------------under £20 for 2 for an excellent take away--if you like Thai give it a go

Researched online for a local thai take away for a change... It was utterly delightful, fed a family of 5 and no Complaints aired... Be sure to order again and Definitely recommend

We decided to give this takeaway a try ... We love thai food and it did not disappoint. My husband likes his food very spicy and they were more than happy to make it as hot as he would like, the service was great and the staff were more than happy to talk us through our options and make their own recommendations (which I gladly accepted) I Would highly recommend giving it a try

Called in on way to a friends had been wanting to try it for a while I ordered the thai style ribs which were nice although there wasn't a lot, also had the panang chicken which was very nice but not as spicy as i would of liked which was a bit disappointing as i had discussed with the chef before ordering that i liked my food very spicy, the service i can't fault while i waited for my food to be cooked one of the staff went and brought me complimentary plate full of prawn crackers and a spicy dip a very nice touch and when my meal was ready gave me another bag of prawn crackers to take with me definitely be visiting again

Well. We rang the mobile number on the menu too be told "please ring the restaurant!!" Not to be deterred - I wish we had - we rang the land line and placed an order. The gentleman we spoke to was not good with English, but we got the order over. Delivery would be 7.30pm which was 30 minutes from order time.At 8.05pm we rang. No record of the order apparently until a search turned it up. It seems the gentleman tht took the order "never handed it over"! We were given a "sorry", but words are cheap. "Do we still want the order?" There was no offer of a discount, especially as it might well be nearly 90 minutes after original order by the time we would eat.We declined the offer and went to a local pizza delivery joint. The Eat Thai menu went in the bin.

We've had takeaway from here now 3 or 4 times and the food is unquestionably wonderful. Our only hang up was on the service when they got our order wrong and missed our the main ingredient from both of our curries. We were told that next time we visited we could get something for free. When we did visit, this transpired to be a free bag of prawn crackers, send after some talking this was improved to a free jasmine rice. Not great given we wanted neither of these things. Food, 5 stars, service, 2 stars.

I thought with the description and price the food would have had more flavour.Nothing was spicy or really tasted as described. Almost bordering on bland. Glad I tried it as I had been meaning to for a while but I wouldn't order again. Sorry.

Ordered here once per week for around the past couple months, the food is fab but we were very let down today by the lack of customer service we received. Last week we ordered two tofu curries and two coconut rice, when they arrived we found there was no tofu just vegetables. I rang up and the guy didn't offer to send the correct order out, but did say next time we order to ask for Martin and he'd sort it out for us. He did also tell us, not for the first time, to call him to order as he loses commission on Just Eat. He says this each time yet refuses to allow card payments over the phone so it's not exactly our fault if we need to pay by card or we'd have gone direct to him! Anyway, tonight we popped in expecting to receive the curries free of charge and happy to pay for our rice... First, he tried to charge the whole order with some 'free prawn crackers', we said we don't even eat prawn and would like the curries free as that's what they got wrong before. Then he offered to give us free rice and charge for the curries (because the rice is cheaper) then finally offered the order 50% off, meaning we were still paying for curry which should have been replaced as courtesy due to a previous error. Customers really shouldn't have to barter to get a company to do the honourable thing. He then said he's not in the habit of giving away free food (I said we aren't in the habit of paying for food that isn't what we ordered) and we said forget it, we'll leave it and left. They obviously don't care about retaining regular customers which is disappointing as the food is great (other than the crispy tofu side which was like bricks) but I refuse to give them my money when they are so rude.Compare this with another takeaway we used to frequent in our old city, regularly, once the order was cooked terribly, seriously oily to the extent of being inedible, I messaged them online sending pictures and they were incredibly apologetic, and offered to replace our entire order for free next time, they couldn't have been more sorry and we still go whenever we go home. That's how you look after customers, Thai Cafe. Take note. Martin seemed really friendly initially but soon went out of the window when I challenged him and didn't back down out of awkwardness. What a joke.

Called in on spec, on a foggy November night and ordered a take away.Fresh, tasty, very authentic meals were prepared swiftly while we snacked on some complimentary prawn crackers. When we got the meals home, we were absolutely delighted - my green thai curry (with a little extra chilli as requested) was excellent, comparing very favourably with some of the central London restaurants we have visited. It's good to see good Thai cooking back on the Doncaster scene.We were assured that delivering to Sprotbrough was not a problem, so we will definitely be sampling further delights from this very unassuming take away / cafe.

Came across this after trolling through the Internet to find a takeaway out of the norm! Doncaster seems to have been left behind in the 21st century on the food and culture scene! Anyway I digress , the food here is delicious! Fresh and moresome! It is finely balanced and fragrant ! The owner is helpful and passionate and I believe has now been turned into a cafe through the day! All in all a touch of class cleverly added to the Doncaster food and drink bandwagon which i have been eagerly awaiting! Thankyou!

Really missed a Thai in Donny after the Bangkok Elephant closed, the Chinese equivalents just don't cut it. The food here is fantastic. Became our most favourite take away from the first time we used them, and hasn't disappointed us yet. My favourite is always the green chicken curry, very authentic, tastes just like the ones I have had in Thailand, proper fresh ingredients not that thick gloopy stuff that some places try to pass off as Thai. Tried the jungle curry which is fab , wife loves the Pad Thai. Delivery is always prompt and drivers very courteous.

Ordered a takeaway from here last weekend. Had a great meal and the food is very authentic. Made me feel like I was back in Thailand again.

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, as I love Thai and Doncaster has been lacking any sort of Thai food for a long time.As a takeaway it's faultless, food was fresh and hot, portions generous and the vegetables and herbs were both authentic.The Som Tum salad was a highlight, the tom yum soup was a little over salted and the broth wasn't clear, but the balance between hot and sour was good and the chicken portion was generous.If I was reviewing it as a restaurant it would be three stars, because there were a few missteps, the red curry was under spiced and over dependent on coconut milk, and the spring role was a little greasy, conversely the chicken satay was awesome.As a takeway however its as good as any I've had in Doncaster, and I'll be back for the Som Tum alone.If you want thai food in Doncaster which is authentic and fresh then eat here

First time I've tried, it's the best Thai take-away. It's very quick,fast and fresh food. I recommend to try this place.

I spend half the year in Thailand and the Thai food from this restaurant is right up there with some of the best Thai food I have had over there. I had a Penang curry, sticky rice, and chicken satay. All were awesome. Five stars.

Very authentic Thai cooking and excellent value. Very clean professional run family business. Lots friends are also repeat customers. I and my friends have plenty of choice and thus is one of the few take aways we return to and recommend.Well worth a visit.

We've been waiting sooooo long for a Thai takeaway or restaurant I Doncaster!!Massaman curry and sticky rice were out of this world, prawn cakes and pad Thai were great.Will definitely be going back for more!!

Its always a gamble trying new places to eat, when you use your local over and over again because its a safe bet ... well this time, we gambled and it paid off bigtime !! such a wide, varied menu which we ordered several dishes from, all very nice, full of new flavours and textures, its a bit on the pricey side but worth the treat. from phone order to empty plates, perfect .... will use again without doubt !!

I never leave reviews but everything we ordered tonight was delicious, nothing greasy, all fresh and the som tum was amazing!! I hope it's still here when I next come home

My fiancé & I love Thai food and the one thing Doncaster hasn't got is a Thai restaurant. We were very pleased when we received a menu for Eat Thai, we placed our first order tonight & were not disappointed. We ordered the set meal for two there was plenty for the two of us, the beef masaman curry was delicious & we really enjoyed the mixed starter, particularly the Sweetcorn fritters. Excellent service & speedy delivery will definitely order again!
