Food was insanely good, service super friendly and welcoming, very reasonably priced. We will be back!!

Nice pub. Good wine selection. Didn’t eat there yet, but will soon. Friendly atmosphere. Rather busy Friday but we did get a table.

Great pub, great beer, and really great Indian street food..

The food is consistently excellent, but it's a noisy pub (and always has been). Not music, just the general hubbub. It's not often you get a nice pub that does good food. In there twice a week now.

Lovely pub and staff, but the chicken wrap I had was maybe the blandest thing I have eaten in a very long time . Dry chicken breast that tasted like Sainsbury’s pre cooked boiled chicken slices, some flavourless grey sauce that reminded me faintly of what I remember cumin tasting like. Two types of julienned cabbage, carrots and literally nothing else, No acidity, no ginger, no salt. Chapati was nice tho. ketchup I think was that spicy cumin maggi sauce you buy on the shelf but can’t be certain… oh and 12 QUID! This place is supposed to have an amazing reputation 🤷‍♂️ oh well, I felt pretty ripped off

Booked here on a recommendation, and it didn't disappoint. Exceptional service and the food was incredible. Small plates, but that's fine. I didn't leave feeling overtly stuffed, and that was fine, too. We had fries, Baingan Bhart, Paneer, Rice, and poppadoms. It was perfect for two people. I've already booked again for a visit next month.

Stunning. The pond water ale was spot on, couldn't leave it alone. The Indian food was just fantastic, as good as the best Indian restaurants we've been to. Brilliantly decorated. Impressive service by the friendly young lady managing multiple tables with practised ease.

Love this pub. Food is great and always a nice vibe. Not that many options for veggie/vegan though. Dog friendly 😁

Ordered beef biriyani and chicken fry from Easy tiger yesterday. We loved it. The taste was adipoli 🫶🏻 Just felt the portion of chicken fry was a bit lesss. Apart from that everything was top notch! Thank you :)

Very nice atmosphere and good selection of draught beers.

We have a great experience from beginning to end. The pub manager was veru friendly and had a great energy. we came today to try the amazing Indian food cooked by Sabu, the best in town by far. An amazing cauliflower in tomato sauce, crispi and tender... A grilled lamb chops platter, delicious a perfectly cooked and seasoned... A grilled tika chicken plater, perfect... And chapati on the side. Dom't miss the opportunity and try his amazing food with great vibes and aa amazing alcohol free wheat beer. BIG THA

This pub has become one of my go-to spots in the area. It has a brilliant selection of beers and an exciting venue; the food is fantastic! Give a different angle to Indian food, fresh and spicy!

Really great jazz played by some of Brighton's finest musicians. Nice bar staff. Perfect way to keep the weekend going.

We loved it! Great food..like really great! Lively atmosphere, and lovely decoration. Toilets were a teeny biy of a let down, but didn't detract from the overall effect. Definitely be dining here again!

Just a great spot - nice drinks selection, delicious Indian food, friendly and timely service, good vibes

We went for the Indian food, and it was absolutely great. The pork vindaloo was exactly as it should be, with a healthy vinegar kick. The lamb biriani was fragrant, warming and satisfying. The paneer dish was tasty, the sauce had a good balance of tomato and spicing. And don't forget the spicy fries with Sriracha dip, great for grazing... Chef Sabu is creating great food, and being able to have it in a pleasant pub is a bonus!

This place has a really cool vibe, great staff, a solid beer selection, and delicious food.

Lovely pub with amazing food. I don't even know how many times we've eaten here now, even brought the in-laws last time. The food never disappoints. Nice spice levels to the food too. I'm no food critic but I can clearly tell the spices and ingredients are high quality and not just some tinned ready mix! Pub has a good selection of beers and staff is super lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend :)

Definitely one of my favourite pubs in Brighton, great beer selection, the food is some of the best pub food I've ever had and there is also a nice garden as well.

Local pub? why not eh. 6.20 a pint. The pub itself is very tinny noisy. Chosee the beer garden which is nicely covered & a heater too. Whats worse for ASD.. tinny noisy pub or a noticeable bar tender watching you like a hawk. I'd choose the tinny noise anyday. Won't return. Crack a smile. Pubs closing down everywhere.

Lucky lucky me that this is my local in Brighton. Their service is knowledgeable, chilled, and attentive. The food is delicious, varied from vegan, veg to meat. The flavours are deep and warm with spices and blends of textures that make you feel happy. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and easy going. Highly recommended.

Great drinks, great atmosphere - I'm just sad I didn't get a chance to try the food. I'll be heading back for that, but in the meantime I can confirm that the vibes are great and it's a fun spot to spend some time in Brighton.

Heard about the Currys up here but never got round to going, but I should have much earlier. Super tasty curry but a Bit annoying that you have to buy the rice separately which just makes it more expensive. The keralan fried chicken was fab as well. Great atmosphere, nice to sit down, have a pint and some food food.

We’re here too often. A go-to for amazing food that is consistently mouth watering. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Love the beer selection - Pond Water is a particular favourite. 10/10 recommend Easy Tiger to everyone. Get the paratha bread - it’s to die for! Cocktails are also surprisingly good and creative!

The bar was fantastic. We walked from the street out of nowhere, not knowing they served Indian food and some of the best dynamics to come across in Brighton. We waited for a table, ate some of the amazing food and came across some of the greatest service I have had in my life, I believe the name is Zoe

Brilliant little pub off the beaten track but still very central. Full of locals of all ages. Brilliant Indian street food and a good array of craft beers and ciders. Staff are also very friendly. Not full of students and tourists.

Sabu catered for my daughters mendhi event. He was amazing! The food was delicious and loved by all! Thank you so much for making my daughters special day even more special! Can't recommended him enough... 🙏🏼

Absolutely delicious food! I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s incredibly tasty, just can’t get enough. They have an excellent selection of cocktails which look and taste fantastic, I’m looking forward to seeing what they bring out for Autumn. The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable about the local beers, natural wines & food they serve. It has a wonderful atmosphere and would really recommend a trip!

Excellent pub with fantastic beer and friendly staff. Food was very delicious but the menu could be a bit clearer about the size of the dishes. Some are main meals and some are sort of half way between a starter and a main. My wife ordered the fried chicken which was great but not quite enough. Just need to either explain that some dishes are sharers & some are full meals one way or the other. Not moaning here just honest constructive feedback!

Fantastic food. Good choices of ale beers

Absolutely fantastic!! Go with a group of friends and order as many plates to share as possible - there is not a bad dish on the menu!! My personal highlights were the Thakkali Kutan (sweet potato & aubergine curry), Kadhi Paneer, and Kerala Fried Chicken, but honestly everything I tried was 10/10. There is a really good selection of beers & wine, definitely something for everyone. I recommend the Wavy session pale ale - it went beautifully with the spices in the food. The service was relatively quick for a Friday night, and the pub in general has a really positive, friendly vibe. Will definitely be back!! 🐯🌟

...Street Food! Buzzing pub, lovely staff, great beers and mouthwateringly delicious food! PORK XACUTI was unbelievably sumptious...Truly! As was everything else, side chutney not as super as last time but these change and you go with the flow. Birianis are always super too...

Had great dishes here. All really tasty and different. Lots of fresh herbs too. Service was good. Dishes pretty small, but great opportunity to order lots of variety. Nice ambience, nice pub. Very informal.

Delicious Indian Street food, good beer and wine selection, friendly staff. There's a small courtyard out the back, and a large open wood-panelled bar area, plus a side area for a more cosy atmosphere. The room can be a bit noisy when busy.

Really good food, came out quickly and had lots of veggie/vegan options. Nice range of beers, small but nice outdoor seating, staff was friendly, busy and lively but not crammed even on a weekend. I just wish they accepted same day bookings!

Great food, great service, great space. Plus lovely beer that wasn't too high in percentage..I recommend the chilli Gobi for a side.

Friendly local pub with with welcoming bar staff.

Have been a visitor to the pub over many years, but this was the first time trying the food and oh my goodness it was well worth it. 6 of us ate and we chose a selection of dishes to share. Every one of them as delish (or more so!) than the other. We’ll be back.

Went for the Indian food and a few beers. Very busy on a Saturday night and very noisy but food superb and good real ale.

Bar staff are incredibly rude and childish. We were there as a group on a Saturday night and were snarkily and rudely asked to be quiet. I’d understand and be more accepting of it if A) we were a group of obnoxious rugby players chanting rather than a group of friends reenacting the BBC tv show ‘Traitors’ and if B) we had been asked with even the merest hint of politeness. We felt so uncomfortable we didn’t want to go up and order a drink. Charmingly, once the bar staff realised we were leaving for another pub down the road due to the atmosphere being killed they pointed at us and sniggered. Don’t bother going here, head to the Windmill instead.

Good selection of beers and great Indian food.

The food is pretty good, it's obviously a busy place and our sides of rice appeared long after the mains had been eaten so it was a bit random too. Beer selection is good and the price is pretty typical for Brighton (expensive)!

Nice beer. But place is too loud - needs some soft furnishings to absorb the noise, esp if one table on other side of the pub has a shouter

Lovely place with a beer garden. Love the interior design and they serve delicious Indian street food. The menu changes regularly and already looking forward to try out the new dishes. Highly recommend a visit.

Ok £18 for 3 drinks will just be something I will never get over, but I think that's all pubs now. I ate here and the indian food looked great and tasted authentic. They have a great selection of beer and ales and are kind to offer tasters. There is also a beer garden. It's ok, bit cold when I went.

£8 for tiny portion of fried chicken. Absolutely overpriced.

Updated again: just to say that a third review is thoroughly warranted, the food, and especially the paratha was fantastic, full of flavour and delicately but well spiced. Still ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ second visiting back and the beer and food were both as good as ever First visit back since the beginning of lockdown and as good as ever. Great choice of beers in keg and cask and the food was excellent - really enjoyed the paneer makhani

Extremely rude waitressing staff. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by waitressing staff rushing our food and drink due to another booking. The staff even threatened to cancel our food order if we over ran?!
