The chimney cake is incredible. Leave plenty of time for the chefs to make it - it is made in a purpose-built oven that is only fired up when a cake is ordered - but it is well worth the wait. Each cake is freshly made and arrives piping hot, good for eating after a meal or to take home and enjoy later. We had the cinnamon sugar one and it was fantastic.

Found this lovely little restaurant today and the food was fantastic. I ordered beef stew and potatoes (they even did parsley potatoes on request) and the wife have Beef goulash - both incredibly tasty and just like being back in Hungary. Also, fantastic value for money - main meal, cake and drink for £9.50. If you are in the area, it’s a must!

Unfortunately, nothing tasted good, the meat in the brasso was inedible, the potatoes were soaked in oil, the pancakes were unfortunately not tasty, the dough was hard and sprinkled with a huge amount of powdered sugar.

Amazing food, amazing service! Does take a while tho, order quickly.

Amazing value and delicious Langosz!!! Authentic, Hungarian, friendly and reasonably priced. What else do you need? I have been eating here about 3 times a month for a while and will continue doing so.

The food was really good, I would recommend getting the Lángos as I feel that it's the best thing on the menu. The chef was incredibly friendly and took his time explaining the items on the menu. The prices are quite cheap for the quality of food.

Food is always made fresh. It's a bit of waiting but it's definitely worth it. I eat there every week, and usually for 2 people dinner with drinks(they have awesome tea) and desserts I pay around 20-25£. I cannot praise this small restaurant enough. Try it if you're nearby and you're hungry, you won't be disappointed

Az étel kíváló volt. Az ár is rendben van. Ha erre jársz csavarogni, ne hagyd ki. És más jóság is van, ami az étlaon nem szerepel.

We found this place when we were passing by and decided to try it as it looked very inviting. Food was lovely - so affordable, large portions, everything tasted very fresh. I really recommend Langos with sour cream and garlic! So tasty! Will try and come back if we in town again!

Hired for my wedding for 60 guests all food served hot and delicious, they really are an amazing team! I cannot recommend enough.

Really good traditional Hungarian food made by two lovely people

Cons/Negatives: 1. Goulash soup had a “funny/chemical taste” could not be eaten. Chucked away! 2. In x2 other dishes: the home made fries and the fries - were friend in the same oil (I assume). Same flavour, no difference in between except the shape. Fries were excessively oily and not properly cooked. Chucked away! 3. For the fish and potatoes: the fish was (most likely) a frozen fillet which was not properly cooked as it tasted raw. Not happy with it, as I was excepting to actually see a fish and not some substance that tasted like raw fish. Chucked away! Positives: 1.chicken nuggets were alright, and from 4 different type of dishes my son actually managed to eat something, the rest of it being chucked out. 2. Everything was nicely wrapped, still warm and no spills. Quite impressive I would say. Overall…it’s a waste of money and a very poor culinary experience but a decent presentation. Good for pictures but not suitable for actually eating! Portions: apparently normal size…not to big or to small, but that’s just for display as I could not eat any of it.

Cada plato principal he probado ha sido perfectamente sazonada y condimentadas, con porciones generosas de suculentas carnes y verduras. He tenido el placer de comer aquí varias veces en el mes en que se ha abierto, y no me han decepcionado. Los platos son muy acertadas, y sin duda que sirven las mejores albóndigas y empanadas que he tenido. Este es un gran lugar para probar algo corazón warmingly familiar si sabes tu comida caribeña, o para probar algo nuevo si no ha estado suerte todavía. Todo esto es servido con una cara amistosa y una sonrisa, justo lo que necesitan, ya que el invierno atrae en!
