Easy East in Blackpool

Excellent value and very good flavours. Visited tonight for a family meal. Pleased we booked as it was busy. Staff were very friendly, good service and great food.

We stumbled across this place by accident . Set meal was faultless. Delicious good sized portions. really excellent ingredients and a friendly attentive service. Highly recommended.

Wanted to dine had a disability scooter spoke to lady In restaurant what a lovely helpful as couldn't get up steps,so she offered to go in back door..so could dine.brilliant meal so helpful would recommend to all. Thankyou!

We've been coming to this restaurant since it was the Mayflower many years ago. Thought to be closed forever, but no, it has returned as the Easy East and I'm thrilled to say that the food is as excellent as it was. The staff were brilliant, attentive and never pushy. The price of the food is very reasonable, so, all in all a fantastic restaurant and a lovely evening.

Prawn crackers to start, no plates given so crumbs everywhere! Ordered spring rolls, got 2, never been served 2 before, always 3-4. Mains was ok, expensive wine on menu. We like Pinot grigio which was £17 a bottle. ( that bottle is £7.50 in my local shop) Tight on the paper napkins! They are just napkins. Won't return, need to think of the customer's more not just the business.

We found this place walking into Blackpool and we went in, we goy a table straight away, and were served by a wonderful jolly lady. The food was excellent. If we were in Blackpool again we would definitely go back.

Easily the worse Chinese meal I have ever had. £44 we were in and out in 20 minutes. The started selection contained a spring roll that had a cheesy sauce it, a samosa (Indian I believe), a spoon full and of crispy seaweed, some strange chicken sweet and sour bites, prawn toast this cost £13.95, it was absolutely disgusting. The main dishes were equally tasteless and poorly cooked the egg fried rice tasted as if it was a boil in a bag ready meal. Even when I challenged the meal served and paid the staff just smiled laughed at me. I plead with you not to be conned as I was into dining here as they should not be allowed too serve food. I’m still in a state if shock.

Fantastic service, delicious food, great atmosphere and above all, lovely people. We will definitely return to this beautiful place.

Came in yesterday evening without booking and we were lucky to get a table. Food was beautiful, we got starters and mains and drinks. Very reasonable price, under £30. Staff were lovely and friendly and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful service.

We had a set dinner meal in this restaurant but my boyfriend found his bland and I didn't find the portion too big. I'd say it's quite expensive for what you get. On the other hand I think they don't add artificial flavours. The service was very nice.

This authentic Chinese restaurant has the most hospitable owners who are wonderful and the food is quite honestly the best Chinese food we have ever had. We have been coming to Easy East for years (we come annually to Blackpool) and wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese. Outstanding quality and very reasonably priced too.

I was so very happy to see this amazing eatery open again. The staff are so attentive and the food is to die for. Very reasonably price and the place is spotlessly clean through out. I shall be returning on my next visit to Blackpool

Absolutely Disgusting. Food came,and we couldn't eat it. Lady came and asked if everything was OK and my Husband said actually NO it's not,as he tried to explain, she sniggered and walked away.. If you want rubbish food and service, then please go to this restaurant.

We came to this restaurant after just coming across it whilst looking for somewhere to eat, the staff are very friendly and immediately recognised the voice of our friend who made the booking, we were immediately seated and our food came very quickly. Cannot rate this restaurant enough! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We was a family of 4 adults and 3 children and our total bill was only £83. The quality of the food was excellent, got to be some of the best Chinese food we have ate in a while.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and also interactive with the kids, trying to learn them how to use chopsticks. I can not rate this restaurant enough for absolutely excellent food, great wine selection that makes the food even more amazing. The staff are very tentative and always make sure everything is perfect for you. As a gay couple they made us very welcomed and make us feel absolutely welcomed. I can not rate the restaurant enough.

In Blackpool for the weekend and we wanted some takeaway food to take back to our room. The lady was really friendly when we asked if this was an option- it was. She gave us a card with their number on for us to call later, when we were ready to order. When we did call, she remembered us. The food was ready quickly, packaged neatly and tasted delicious. My wife and I called on spec to this restaurant and they found us a table straight away, it opens at 5 pm and we got there at 5.30 pm and it soon started to fill up as we got there. The food was really nice, I had Chicken Fried rice with chips and a curry sauce and my wife had Chicken Chow Mein, we both really enjoyed our meal. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and you can watch them cook the meals which is nice. The staff are nice and friendly which is a must in my opinion. I have no qualms about giving this restaurant 4 stars, to get 5 the decor could have been a little better but it was all clean and tidy which is the main thing. To the owner, if you read this, thank you for a pleasant experience.

Only two seems a bit stingy, the norm is usually three.Cha Sui Chow Mein - BORING, limited meat and even less bean sprouts.The restaurant is tired, it needs a coat of paint, better lighting and better food.I hate to say this, it needs a kick up the arse, it’s on the main promenade and could be busy like it’s next door neighbour. Spend some money on decor and stop penny pinching on ingredients, you’ll get the custom.

We called in here Thursday evening.A few other diners in.Very friendly welcome given.Starters of Peking hot n sour soup and spring rolls very good.Mains of chicken chow mein and chicken curry equally good.With 2 pints of lager each bill came to £27,excellent value for money.Can recommend if you're in Blackpool.

Never seen food come out so quick .Ordered crab and sweet corn soup and prawn toast . All arrived in under 5 minutes. Both very good . Mains sweet sour prawn also very good . Char Sui chow mien . Ok but no onions . Just noodles and beenspouts. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We went here because the best Chinese in the vicinity were full and no room for hours. It was basic inside but clean. Me and my daughter had Sui Mai (dumplings) and Bbq Spare Ribs to start, dumplings were good as were the ribs although I would have expected more than 3 ribs for £6. We both had the Roast Duck Chow Main which was average because it only consisted of Noodles, Beansprout and Duck; I have never had a chow mein before that didn't have any colour like spring onion, carrot and also expect water chestnuts and bamboo shoot for a bit of crunch or texture. So that was quite basic and un-colourful (Chef make note). Duck was also over cooked, in fact daughter said cremated as was like a well done steak and she likes it pink. Drinks were average priced but a small coke was very small, not even a can size.

We were celebrating my daughters 9th birthday when we visited. The service was quick and friendly,food was fresh and delicious, and the price was reasonable for 4 of us with drinks. I would absolutely recommend.wont hesitate to visit again next time I'm in Blackpool.
