Let me start by saying the food is always excellent. I always order from the just eat platform, The problem I have is they advertise as free delivery! It isn't it gets added on when you check out, i order every week and don't mind paying for delivery incidentally, but dont like false advertising. My real big issue is they chose to take part in a stamp card scheme on just eat, you pay for 5 takeaways and you get a slight discount on the 6th. But not from these guys!!!! because they don't honour the promotions they agreed to take part in, which I find very dishonest and slightly irritating. So here's the story I went on just eat last night and ordered my usual takeaway that I order every week. It was time to use my stamp card discount. GREAT. I placed the order which came to £42 added my discount brought the bill down to £24 only to have my order REJECTED, As I said before slightly irritated by this I decided to try placing the order again without using the discount I'm entitled to and SURPRISE SURPRISE my order was accepted and promptly delivered and excellent as always. HOWEVER I will not be using this take away again as I find the slippery way they treat their loyal customers is appalling and I don't like DISHONESTY times are hard at the minute for everyone your customers included but please don't CON them into a promotion that you will not honour DISGUSTING AND DISHONEST.

You can see them cook the food in the open kitchen, Excellent down-to-earth Indian food cooked by Bengalis, I have used it 3 times and the service was friendly and fast. I have not used the delivery service, so no comment on that. I did see 2 mature white delivery drivers.

This was the worst takeaway I've had! The delivery driver was ranting and raving at me on the phone cos he couldn't find my house and saying I was doing this on purpose, atrocious behaviour. The whole street I live on could hear him!! The food was cold and not nice, went in the bin!!!!!! Would never recommend this place. Intend to take this further and get a refund.

We use this place regularly using Just Eat and have never had a bad meal. Excellent menu, reasonable prices, fast delivery and always have a nice chat with the guy that delivers it. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered chicken tikka masala and rice and chicken tikka masala with chips both should of been 6.95 each were charged 18 pounds after waiting over 1 hour had reheat rice and chips both cold won't be using again we only live 1 and half miles away it should of been free delivery!

Did have take away years ago been taken over so tryed it tonite my starter was cold and no taste at all in my curry which should of had coconut in it will never have one from there again

Thought I’d try this again it’s been a few years and noticed it was under new management , and I loved it , being happy at the usual places I was wary , the garlic and coriander bread was delicious and the lamb chilli masala was bursting with flavour plenty of un fatty meat , and the lamb sambar was really tasty , I can’t see me going anywhere else for a indian takeaway from now on ,, thankyou

We have used this takeaway for the last 10 years. Its been taken over by new owners we ordered 2 onion bhaji and 2 chicken korma the bhaji we dry and flat like pancake the korma was dreadful the sauce had split and was swimming in water. We will never order from here again

Tried a takeaway delivery and no complaints. Food delivered early, no delivery charge and tasted good.

Used to get curry from here few times a week! Loves their food.. Gutted its closed now and become another curry place. Will miss Easten spice Leanne

Entregado a tiempo, comida de calidad siempre buena desde aquí con el calor y el gusto de las especias y mientras a probar otras comida para llevar, que siempre parecen volver a este lugar. Hace una buena clasificación de la gaceta de higiene, y eso es importante.

La comida increíble, no comprar comida india en ningún otro sitio. Siempre bien cocinada y llena de sabor! Gama completa en el menú de frutas de picante.

Over an hour wait for delivery but Saturday night must be busy. Always get lamb and it's always perfect ! Nice polite delivery driver too.

Took 90 minutes to arrive the food was hot but the chicken was so dry it was not edible! But the korma sauce was amazing!

Food was not very warm when recieved although it was on time. The pathia was lacking in taste which sadly let the overall thing down. It had a faint sweet taste but lacked any heat or any flavour.. Found the tikka starter a little chewy. Wouldn't be returning, sorry.

We love the food from here and again didn't disappoint - we always say after eating the food that we never have had a bad meal yet. The only issue that let our experience down tonight was that the food took 1hr and 20mins to arrive but we have never had this issue before. We will still continue to use this takeaway and their food is worth the wait ;)

Really great food but arrived an hour after the estimated delivery time.

Lovely as always. However, it did take over 15 mins after the adjusted delivery time and rice was missing, called and was here within a couple of mins so great.

Made a simple order , was told estimated delivery would be 1 hour, they then added an additional 10 minutes, eventually had to ring to find out where order was, to be told it had just left. Eventually delivered just under 2 hours after order time. Completely unacceptable. The food is great quality but dont order if you expect a quick delivery.

First time ordering from here and oh my goodness, the nicest Indian we have ever had. And great value for the price. We will defiantly be ordering again.

Food arrived as per stated time and delivery guy was friendly, however food was a major disappointment. Everything was do bland as if made in a hospital for those recovering from a tongue replacement, no salt, spices or chilli. Potatoes tasted like they had been reheated a 1000 times and the garlic naan appeared to have only ever seen a garlic in a movie in naan school and tasted like no garlic had ever encountered it before. Quite disappointed.

Food took longer to come than stated. Pakora And bahji were very greasy. Lettuce was past it's best. Currys had no flavour apart from water! What a rip off. Will not be using again. I would contact restaurant themselves but no website!

The Bhaji felt quite tasteless and I had thought that the chicken and salad would be on a stick.

All the other Indians Iv tried in the last few months have been disappointing greasy oily and dishes have not looked as expected but this little gem got everything just right the food was tasty hot and there was no oil or grease seeping through the lids as I unpacked. The onion bhaji were very nice tho would have preferred 4 smaller ones than 2 very large ones but were tasty all the same. Will be ordering again just wish they had included a menu with my order lol xx

Ordered after a long journey to Blackpool for a holiday. All I can say is fabulous. It was yummy, and worth every penny. Delivery was in very good time. Will probably order again while we are here!

Usually rate eastern spice, but my curry was watery. Didnt enjoy it. Probably wont order in a while until reviews pick up

We use this takeaway all the time the food is always first class and delivered straight to our door. All you need to do is spend over £12 and del is free locally. The onion baji are fabulous and chicken korma is to die for

Portions were quite small. Much bigger portions from Gulshan. Plus the food was quite bland, particularly the Bhuna. Ordered from here for a bit of a change from Gulshan, but wouldn't order again.

food tasted average, but that was it. there was no depth to the taste, me and my partner had competly different currys but they tasted the same and almost bland. the naan bread was yummy though.

I order from Eastern Spice on a regular basis! Normally I enjoy the meal very much! The last two orders I have had have been terrible! The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt...but then again tonight...not impressed! The curry was so watery, it literally tasted like spicy water, so bland! The potatoes in the side dishes I have ordered the last two times have been so hard, as though they are undercooked...again, not pleasant to eat at all. I feel I have thrown my money down the drain, and would have enjoyed some beans on toast more than I have enjoyed these curries! I shall not be ordering again from this place!

I'm running out of great things to say about this food. We just keep on ordering and the quality is absolutely superb and cooked fresh with great flavours. Won't go anywhere else and price is reasonable for this fantastic cuisine. Well done again Eastern Spice you never disappoint 😜

I love this take away. The food is lovely and hot when it arrives. The meat is tender, no tough chewy bits. The only one I use. Best by far!

Food was absolutely beautiful- the best Indian we've had in a long time. Just make sure you order a good hour before you're hungry! We waited just short of an hour and a half!! Worth the wait but it's a good job really or we wouldn't return.

After the meal arriving 25 mins late the starters and main were totally flavourless and spiceless called to tell the restaurant instead of leaving a negative review told someone would call me back in 15 mins they never did needless to say would not recommend and will not be using them again

Excellent food as always. Unfortunately though our meals were both lacking spice. Won't put us off from ordering again though.

We have used Eastern spice for a number of years but hadn't ordered from there for a while. I wish we didn't bother now a sour order of 4 main dishes, starters and sundries not only took 1 hour 15 minutes when I was told 45 minutes the food was all bland and lacking the flavours you would expect. Prawn Pathia normally comes with king prawns but on this occasion they had used very small cheap sandwich prawns.

The food was tasty, and not too heavy. Really enjoyed it, and used this Indian has there hygiene rating was minimum a 4. A little slow on delivery but sharpened the appetite. Would use again!

The order was late and only warm not hot like its suppose to be. Definitely need new decent delivery drivers.

A lovely meal and will defo have again..only problem was it was booked to be ready at 18:10 for collection, but wasn't ready until over 40 minutes later....I understand they were busy...but still seemed excessive wait in the shop....but, as I said food was great and the place is very clean
