Never felt compelled to leave a review before and this is only the first time I’ve been here but wow the food was fantastic! Best Chinese I’ve been to!

Food was amazing, arrived 20 minutes early and delivery driver was courteous and professional. Definitely ordering from here again!

1st time here, food average to good, but found the place had a odd smell in the building, and there was a TV playing 24hr news channel so little or no atmosphere. We prob won't be back. Seemed expensive for 2 people been over £60 for 2 mains and a shared starter.

The worst food I've ever had, and £32 for just one person, tried new place but should of stuck to my usual, it was absolutely horrible, smelt of gone off food from the start then my pork balls were so crisp I could of broken a tooth, diabolical!! I've got so much left food that has to go in the bin, never ever again, thanks. What a waste of money, I want a refund quick smart thanks.

The chicken balls were not like other Chinese takeaways, they were small and some were chewy, not worth the money at all for the amount you get. The chow mein just tasted of soy sauce and the char sui didn't taste like it should. when I pay £25 for a takeaway anywhere else there is ALWAYS leftovers for the next day because of the sheer amount of food, from here it was just enough for 2 people with nothing left, really disappointed

Staying in Saltburn for a few days and fancied a Chinese. We were a little apprehensive at first as we were the only people in there but it was a Thursday night. Needless to say we were not disappointed. The food was delicious especially the beef in black bean sauce.

Been using Eastern Paradise just recently and I can honestly say it is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time,always been delivered on time and food piping hot I'm sure they will take some beating so We all Done to all and thankyou for the amazing food.

The flavours were great and the spare ribs were so good. The fried rice was a little overly oily but that's the only negative. we'll be ordering again x

Terrible experience. Order arrived quickly, however all we could taste was salt and oil, so much so that we couldn’t finish our meal. Several hours after the meal I became unwell with stomach cramps and vomiting (all our dishes were vegetarian so this reaction is unusual). This was our first experience and we will not repeat.

Food never arrived !!!! And no option to select this has happened, this app is pathetic

The Food was subpar compared to other similar style takeaways in the area, will not be ordering again.

An awful experience - don’t use! We ordered a take away of soft noodles, seaweed, salt and pepper chips, curry sauce and veg spring rolls. All we could taste was oil and salt, to the point we could not finish the meal. Within a couple of hours I started to feel unwell, woke up early hours of the morning vomiting and spent the whole day exhausted and stomach cramps. I will be reporting to EH.

We ordered via just eat spending over £65 the food was diabolical dripping in oil cold every item except the soup tasted the same, of £65 we hot £7 refunded not good enough abd I will be reporting this to both trading standards and EH

The food was way to salty I ordered spicy veggie you give me crispy battered veggies and prawns when I wanted the the king prawns the order was wrong I didn’t enjoy the food at all it actually made my heart really bad becasie the amount of salt I also order Singapore noodles that are supposed to be spicy they was salty and disgusting there was mushrooms in there

Chicken balls were burnt and the chicken was dry. Noodles were all juice. Gravy had a mushroomry taste. Maybe just not to our liking. Expensive for the small portion sizes.

Absolutely terrible, ordered off just eat completely messed my order up, so I rang and a young girl answered being clever saying they can’t rectify it as they don’t have a driver that was a just east driver, so what happens to the orders not through just eat I ask? She then said she would give me a meal free if I came and picked it up, completely abysmal service from them, stay well clear

They messed my order up and when I rang to get it changed they said they wouldn’t sort it I need to ring up next time for a free meal

Great food, quality cooking you can tell these guys know they're craft. We had a takeaway but would happily eat in the next time we visit.

Quickly delivery piping hot and the mains are massive portions but I’m going to be critical now. The egg fried rice needs more soy and msg it’s tasteless and the crispy shredded beef needs to be more crispy and shredded strips rather than loads of tiny bits. I’m not sure if msg is even added at all at this takeaway and it’s needed for the flavour. The best is brotton by far that’s what a Chinese should be like.

special cantenese style - extremely oily batter, sauce just didn't taste good. salt and pepper chicken, again oily to the extreme, fried rice and chips both cold

Came really quickly and piping hot, tastes really good only thing I think is missing is msg, it’s more sweet than umami.

Never received ordered 9:35pm sat till 12 didn’t turn up, no knock on door or anything tried to push through just eat app after 1hr 30mins but didn’t make a difference. Not sure what happened but wasted two hours and thirty minutes waiting to go to bed, Ended up with no food and will now have to go for refund through just eat.

Absolutely lovely massive portion and tasted better than every other Chinese in the area, with quick delivery only thing I would say is add more msg and soy in egg fried rice

I ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night and I was really worried when it arrived 25 minutes after I ordered it. I thought it was going to be awful coming that quickly, but this was by far the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had in my life. I loved that I could choose how spicy my curry was going to be and all the food was beautiful. It was also amazing value for money. I'll definitely order from here again

Decided to get a takeaway last night as a lot of the restaurants in saltburn didn’t allow dogs in after 5 or they were fully booked due to it being bank holiday Monday. Went online to order from Eastern Paradise, said it wouldn’t take orders so as it was a stone throw from our accommodation I decided to walk over. From the outside in looked shut (the ‘open’ sign was off) so I tried the door and it surprisingly opened. There was one elderly gentleman stood at the end of the restaurant (I assume he was the owned) and zero customers. I asked if they were taking orders and he said they were, another lady popped her head around the corner and said she would be 5 mins. As I perused the menu the chap was literally shouting at the kitchen staff constantly which was slightly awkward, the lady in the kitchens response was ‘shut up you b@st@*d I am sick of you’. Not exactly the most customer friendly! Regards to the food if you’re a fan of peppers then this was ideal as the two mains we had contained at least 3 large chopped peppers - chicken in black bean and a pork Szechuan dish. Little meat just full of peppers. Kids had the duck which was on the bone. Disappointing all round apart from the entertainment to begin with.

Placed a big order but needn't have worried, every item was superbly prepared, packed, piping hot and absolutely delicious and delivered on time.

the nuggets were awful they were 100% asdas own nuggets and for the price i paid for them i expected better considering i could off saved myself some money abd made them at home, proper rip off !!

Lovely, flavourful food! I had one problem where I was missing the prawn crackers, no big deal but the lovely woman delivered them within minutes after. Would definitely recommend

paprika on limp strips of potatoe isn't salt n pepper chips. or not what I am used to experiencing elsewhere. the pancake fritter. one had nothing inside just a ball of batter the other had something along with what I think was strawberry jam. have they let Tony back in the kitchens?

The tastiest chinese food I’ve had in a very long time. Had the spring rolls, prawn toast, spare ribs, special chow mein, prawn egg foo yung, sweet and sour chicken, beef in oyster sauce and boiled rice. Massive portions, tasted so fresh. Great service, highly recommended

Delivery time was moved twice at request of restaurant. Food arrived, chips were clearly re-heated and tasted of old oil. Spring rolls weren't the best either. Ribs and chicken wings were quite tasty. Curry sauce was OK.

What can I say came to saltburn in motor Home for the first time today , hubby went walking the dog round the takeaways for menus , decided on Chinese omg the bbq ribs are to die for , beef chow me in n chips gorgeous would come here again just to visit this Chinese , phoned order in 20 mins later picked it up ,

By far the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, and definitely the most expensive! Salt and pepper chips tasted of nothing, prawn crackers looked and tasted about 6 months old, the chicken balls looked raw and were absolutely swimming in oil/grease. Will not ever be returning. £30 to literally just eat chips. Disgusting. Phoned up to complain to have absolutely no interest from the shop. Waste of time and money

My family and I had a glorious experience at the Eastern Paradise restaurant. It is paradise by name, and, frankly, paradise by nature. The look of the place could perhaps do with some work but in many ways, that is part of its charm… and of course the food is glorious; amazing sweet and sour and also garlic bread! 10/10 would recommend! Lovely staff, lovely place. 5 stars from moi.

First time here as normally use the Min do. But Min do bloody awful since it updated it's shop. The paradise is a bit dearer but the quality is superb. As I say first time used but absolutely no complaint at all. Delicious.🤟

Dont be put off by the outside . The food is always realy nice and massive portions . Very nice people , only downfall is no delivery otherwise i would only ever use this place its that good

Please don’t let the first impressions put you off, and yes I know you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression, but in this instance please make this an exception, and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant is up for sale, as the owner Tony, whose now 77 years young has decided to hang his Wok up and retire. However that hasn’t stopped them serving exceptional Chinese fayre. The highlight of the evening was the sizzling lamb in garlic and chilli, outstanding! We also had the mixed starter and the aromatic duck, which were also very good. I do hope someone does come along and take the restaurant over, and yes bring it upto date. But at the end of the day, it’s the food that counts, and at the moment it remains “ top drawer”.

Don't let the outside put you off, the food here is delicious, the healthiest Chinese meal ive ever had, lots of fresh vegetables, the meat was tender and tasty, The owners are lovely and can't do enough, The best Chinese 👌 we will definitely be back

Don't let the outside fool you! Lovely friendly family run feel to the restaurant. Lovely food and big portions. My partner said he had the best ribs he had! Green pepper chicken was lovely and a really nice spice. We will definitely be going back, a hidden gem!

One of the best black bean sauces I’ve ever had. What a hidden gem! All the meat in every dish was very tender and full of flavour, amazing value for money as well! 10/10 would definitely recommend. We will be returning!!

phoned in a delivery and waited an hour and 20 minutes for food...had to ring them up and ask where our food was they said they couldnt get a delivery driver and instead of ringing us and telling us they left us to wait for 1 hour and 20 minutes plus we would have to wait a further 30 minutes for the manager to ring us back...absolute disaster of service. totally disorganized and appalling way to treat customers.

Food lovely and portions huge. Nice range on menu to choose from. Place is very dated but that's part of its charm. Very welcome there. Taxi called for us.

Quite often visit with work colleagues after drinks in the town , food is always delicious and generous portions , Tony is a well liked character always polite and accommodating, the restaurant has a very dated decor but full of character like Tony 👍.

The food was great! Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go again! Loved the music, could have a sing along whilst waiting on food. Very good servser, even called us a taxi to get home.
