Pleasantly surprised. I'd worked very late and was just looking for a simple dinner. What I got was great food at a decent price. The discovery that made me choose to leave a review was the really well put together menu with an amazing range of ethnic Malaysian dishes, including some genuinely appealing vegetarian options. Well worth a visit.

I understand people have differing tastes and while some like one place others may not but the food we had last night was so poor it was almost inedible. The smell of some kind of vinegar that came of the shredded crispy beef when we took the lid off was overpowering and the salt and pepper chips had so much salt we couldn't taste anything else. Curry sauce had an unusually over sweet taste too. Chow mein would probably have been ok but with the other dishes spoiling our taste buds we couldn't be sure. Delivery time was good and food was hot on arrival but we won't be using Min Du again sadly.

Stayed overnight in Saltburn in motorhome and came across Min Du. Lovely fresh and tasty food, very impressed with the quality and compliments to the chef! Friendly and efficient service and would definitely recommend.

We've used Min Dubai few times now and have never had a poor meal. Chatting to the lady behind the counter we went away from our normal preference and allowed her to give us some guidance. What a great decision for us. The food was as good as ever and we would certainly get happy for her guidance another time. I thoroughly enjoy Chinese,Thai type food and this place so far has been up there with some of the best food I've eaten, and that includes some well known high street restaurants.

Excellent food, service and value. We all thoroughly enjoyed our respective meals. So much so we ate there two nights on the bounce.

Had two takeaways from here and we were delighted with both. Fast service and food was excellent. Will certainly use again when we visit.

Awful! Rice was nice, everything else was awful ... spring rolls were so greasy I couldn't pick them up and spare ribs were so tough!!

Always fast delivery , they always cater to your needs , will alter anything you ask them to change, tried normal chicken balls but with salt and pepper tonight and wow what a game changer they were unreal 👏 best Chinese take away by far everything is always piping hot , order is always correct nothing at all to fault , prices are spot on , always polite on the phone , always exciting food never boring , full of flavour and always packs a punch well done yous deserve a pat on the back

This is really more of a comment on a previous review as a lady spoke of very bad service and having paid by card. I don't think Min du have ever had a card machine in the 10 years I have been using it so I think she has maybe mistaken it for a different Chinese takeaway in Saltburn.

Didn’t seem much choice around Saltburn for Chinese takeaway so we tried here and it was brilliant. Really good food. that wasn’t greasy and tasted great. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick too.

The best Chinese Takeaway throughout the saltburn by sea area. Its the only one that doesn't use a microwave. The food is always freshly cooked , the curry sauce is lovely and the staff are always friendly. I can't think of one single negative thing to say about Min Du.

Friendly staff and excellent food. It's been consistently good over the years I've lived here and I've never had a dud meal. If you're visiting and looking for a tasty take-away, this is definitely your go-to place. We always call first then pick up - we never have to wait more than a couple of mins as the staff are super efficient. Big thumbs up and five stars for this Saltburn institution.

Came here for a takeaway whilst staying a night in Saltburn walking the Cleveland Way and were not disappointed..ordered over the phone..the food was ready in 15 minutes..the young lady at the counter was very friendly.. ordered the pork satay and house special noodles and both meals we're delicious.. large quantities and a very reasonable price..would highly recommend this Chinese takeaway..

Beef and mushroom curry had from Min Du numerous times for years. Last one was disgusting Beef so tough feared for my teeth curry really sweet not nice at all left most of it

Wont go anywhere else for a Chinese

I’ve had carry outs from here on quite a few occasions now. They’ve always been good, but there’s always something lacking. On this visit it was the duck! To charge what they do, you would expect more than six pieces of duck in a main course which is now just shy of £8.00. Take nothing away from the quality of ingredients, but I feel that now they’ve had near on a 7% price increase, at least the centre stage of the dish should be more pronounced.

Disappointed our local Chinese was closed so people recommended Min Du.We ordered as soon as it opened and the chips were last night's warm ups had to bin them as they were hard . 😢

I’m new to the area so decided to try the local Chinese takeaway. I had the set meal for 2 and it was delicious 10 out of 10. The sweet and sour chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted and you can definitely tell the sauce is home made. The shredded beef was melt in the mouth perfect. Lovely portions and all deliciously fresh and lovely friendly staff. I will certainly be back for more. Thank you.

Called in here after been on the beach all afternoon and was too tired to go back out for a meal. My mum daughter and I stayed at The artists Pad next door but one. The guy taking our order was very pleasant( sorry don’t know your name)The food is gorgeous we have not enjoyed Chinese food as much as this in a long time. This has to be my favourite takeaways, you will find a few different things on the menu, I hate spicy food but the schezwan mushrooms are 5 star, it is family run, they family are all very friendly and will guide you to some of the best dishes,. Mae is excelent and will help you choose a new dish when you fancy a change We love to get food here then go down to the beach to eat it

The nicest takeaway I've had for years. Just visiting the area, but I'd highly recommend. If we'd eaten from here earlier in our holiday, we'd have definately gone back another night for more!

I called in here for the first time yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. A charming Chinese girl was behind the counter, and I presume it was her father that did the cooking. You could see straight through to the kitchen, which is always a good...

Food is good and the price is not bad. I just missed some sauce given for some spring rolls.

Went to Min Du takeaway as it was recommended to us. However upon entering I was served by a horrid man. He was belittling towards me and chuckling at his own acerbic wit. I was treated like I was some kind of idiot by him....

Used too be lovely this place. The last two time we’ve been the chow mein was full of noodles hardly any meat in it. Considering it was supposed too be a special chow mein. Must have new owners or under new management.

Food tasted amazing, the place was extremely busy and the phone didn't stop ringing yet time and care was taken throughout to make the food taste perfect

We have used this place for decades, the food has always & still is great, but 3 visits ago we were given partially the wrong order so had to go back down, these things happen! 2 visits ago we were given totally the wrong order, had to go back (they did offer to deliver but within the hour) so thought one more chance so last visit, half order was incorrect had to go back down, come on guys dont want to have to drive to Marske ....

Portion sizes are smaller that a lot of other places but the cost is the same or more. Food was tasty

Competent takeaway with everything well cooked. Very extensive menu. First time we had a bit of a wait but second order was very quick - maybe order ahead of you're in a hurry.

Very nice lemon chicken. Asked for house special fried rice and sweet and sour but got sweet and sour pork with fried rice. Crispy duck wasn't shredded but very nice

What can I say about this establishment to anyone. It's absolutely fantastic. I've been using it for years and the food was absolutely fantastic then and still is now. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is brilliant. The prices are very competitive and represents good value for money and atmosphere is excellent. I'd not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is seeking a fantastic experience.

Used these for years the quality has gone down hill massively, if you dare complain they will tell you that you are wrong or simply tell you where to do, I can not recommend these at all, terrible customer service for below average food.

We had a mixture of Thai and chinese from here. The Thai was amazing! The Chinese was for the kids and they ate the lot. Would definitely eat from here again ☺☺
