twice ive been here order duck in orange sauce. Frist time it was pork in orange sauce second was duck but not in orange sauce. Didn't complain because both meals were tasty

Lovely food, would highly recommend. I will definitely be ordering from there again. Everything was perfect. My new monthly treat.

We have ordered from here on several occasions and have always enjoyed our meal however tonight was a disaster! Not only did we wait and hour and a half for the takeaway to be delivered but when it finally came we tipped out the chicken fried rice onto the plate and was disgusted to see not only black hair but a big knotted lump of hair mixed up in the rice as you can imagine nobody wanted to eat the food in case there was more hair mixed in with the food. When we found Easteat they said they would refund the cost of the takeaway. When we went to the shop they handed over £3!!!!! The takeaway cost £55!!! They also said it wasn’t their hair well it certainly wasn’t ours. NEVER WILL WE GO BACK!!!!

This evening we have had a takeaway meal from Easteat as a family. We ordered chicken fried rice and upon opening the pot and putting it onto the plate we noticed a knot/clump of hair wrapped around a piece of chicken which we pulled onto the side of the plate. Had it have been a single hair we probably would’ve put it to one side and carried on however this was a knot of black hair. The whole meal went untouched and everybody else felt uneasy about eating their food so the whole order was wasted, £50+ and we also waited an hour and a half for our order despite the website saying it would be 45 minutes. We called to complain and spoke to a lovely young lady on the phone who was very apologetic and advised we would be better to come down and get the refund in person as we had paid cash, so we did. When we went to the shop the man over the counter offered us £3, which wasn’t even the cost of the chicken fried rice. He then went on to say that the hair couldn’t have come from them, despite us showing them the picture. The man was rude and spoke over us the whole time, refusing to listen to our point of view. In the end we left without a refund as it was an argument we weren’t going to win. We were very disappointed as we have been regular customers here over the last few years, but after our treatment tonight we will definitely not be coming back.

Ordered off Just Eat and then read the reviews on here, so obviously at bit dubious about what we would receive. The order arrived in under an hour and was lovely. I had Sui Mai and beef curry and my husband had hot and spicy soup, followed by spare ribs. We enjoyed all of the meals. The Sui Mai was amazing. Don’t be put off by the reviews. I will certainly be ordering from here again.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Had to chase it up an hour and twenty minutes later. Was given a new time. The food still did not arrive for the new time. Phoned the restaurant and they just cancelled it. Two hours of waiting, no food. At no point did they contact me. I will not order from here again.

East eat Chinese Takeaway absolutely shocking food and poor customer service. Big pile of greasy food with no flavour. I emailed and messaged before calling to say I wasn’t happy.Ii was mocked that I had emailed and told no business reply to emails. So I asked why it was given as a form of contact. That was ignored and I was told I had an attitude for saying I wasn’t happy with the food and was even told ’how could it have no flavour, it’s a salt and pepper box’ I was asked what I wanted. I asked for a part or full refund. I was told it would be passed on. I’d steer clear of this place. I went to post this on their page but they have set it so no one can leave a review.

Ordered on just eat, within minutes they cancelled saying driver couldn’t find us instead of telling the real reason, takes longer to prepare food and drive to ours than the time to cancel so quickly, won’t be using them again as don’t like being lied to and this certainly was a bad excuse far from the truth, have told just eat the same, had they said no driver fair enough, now to see if refund takes 20 minutes or 5-7 days depending on bank as just eat informed me Disgusting service

Ordered via phone good service but when I arrived at my allocated time said it would be about 15 mins meals were not the best I ordered the special chilli Thai bomb bomb said it was extremely spicy and with Thai basil no spice what so ever and no basil crispy duck was dry and already shredded maybe serve whole to keep the moisture in daughter ordered crispy shredded chicken in orange sauce came in a small cardboard box about half the portion size you would get in a normal plastic takeaway tub tasted ok hardly any sauce very disappointing

Chinese takeaways in the UK generally have similar menu but this place differs and has the chefs' own specials added. They split the tubs into sections, so your choice doesn't get oily or watery and you get to taste the food, proper veg which has not been overcooked, seasoned and spiced correctly. Food hot enough to bend the cheap supermarket plastic forks I had bought years ago.

Really disappointed with the service. Items missing from our order, by the time the missing items were delivered, the rest of our food was cold! The girls attitude that works there stinks! When we complained her answer being “not sure what you expect me to do about it”. No discount was offered on next order, money back or an apology, we’ve order from here before, never again.

Please if you ever order a Chinese DONT from here! Chicken like bitting into Rock, crispy Noodles absolutely solid deep fried. NEVER AGAIN! Crap customer service

Can’t understand why east eat has bad reviews, honestly I love Chinese and I’m fussy about food and I can honestly say ordered for a collection from here and it was the best we have had in the area for a long time! And lovely friendly staff and lovely clean shop. Will definitely be ordering again the sweet and sour chicken balls were lovely.

Food was three hours late on 28th December so asked for a refund. Order today an hour and half later I ring to see where it is, she said she’s been expecting my phone call to say they aren’t doing it, even though they had accepted my order through just eat. Woman wouldn’t let me speak just kept arguing over the top of me, don’t ever ever ever order from there unless you want to be made to feel like absolute rubbish. Clearly doesn’t realise what people are going through, especially when the whole family I placed an order for are key workers throughout this whole pandemic. Disgusting.

Food delivery 3 hours late! Food dried up and horrible. We phoned several times and told they were really busy but we were the next delivery. After 3 hours we gave up and drove to the takeaway to pick it up. Food must have been sitting there for hours, it was hot but dried up. They had marked the food on Just Eat app as delivered so must have been cheating the system. Will never eat here again.

Ordered via Just-Eat app. Delivery was 1/2hr late so rang them. Said “it’s been busy, sorry”. No offer of free drink or anything. So customer service needs some work. Chicken noodle soup: Couldn’t eat it, tasted of the plastic container. Crispy squid: That was crispy batter, no sign, taste or visible squid to be seen at all. Thai green chicken curry: Phew at last, something good. Plenty of it, very tasty.

Initially disappointed as delivery late but soon forgotten, the food was absolutely superb definitely the best in the area, will be ordering again.

Always great food from here and the delivery is always early! Fave Chinese in colwyn bay! We are regulars!
