E-Street Café in Glasgow City

Unbelievable. Superb flat white and possibly the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Get the Southside Johnny - the combination of the black pudding, spicy tomato and poached egg is insanely good. We will be back.

I’ve visited E-street many times now & I have to say I have never been disappointed. You are always welcomed with a smile, they have the friendliest team. The coffee is great, the hot chocolate is even better. They often do seasonal drinks too & they never miss! The food, wow. Never had brunch like it. I often opt for the Southside Johnny and it is amazing, the combination of flavours & freshness is perfect. We’ve also tried the French toast and anytime we have it’s been clean plates all round at the end. The hot cakes are also perfectly fluffy & tasty, the specials are always good to try. It can be busy sometimes but the wait is never too long & definitely worth it! Lots of on street parking too, one side is free & right outside there is metered parking. Again can get busy but usually a drive round the block and a space will come up. Really recommend E-street to anyone looking for a really tasty breakfast / Brunch / lunch

Glad we arrived when we did as every seat was taken just after we ordered. There were three of us and every plate was beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend and will return if we’re back in this part of glasgow.

This is a popular place and deservedly so. Great atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and polite. Great service. Lovely coffee. Nice vibes. And fabulous food. I had the Southside Jonny. And my partner has the avocado and egg on sourdough. Both dishes looked excellent and tasted divine. The poached eggs were perfect. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Food and coffee was absolutely fantastic. Whilst I enjoyed that, I left the cafe feeling not so great after another customer came in with a dog and sat right next to me. Unfortunately I have pet allergy and having a dog in such a small space is not ideal for people like me. Otherwise an all round fabulous café.

This is hands down the best brunch/Lunch place in whole of Glasgow to eat. Great family atmosphere and amazing food. Paul and Kerry are amazing hosts and you can tell by how busy it is. Coffee is unreal and pancakes are the best.

Been here for lunch for the first time; it was absolutely delicious and the folk working were so kind and friendly. Will be back for sure and would recommend to anyone else looking to support a lovely small business which also features excellent music on the playlist!

Nice little cafe in Glasgow. Great service. Would have liked a full English breakfast but not on the menu. Food was nice. Table bookings not taken in advance, so might be a little wait if all tables are occupied.

I went in with my laptop and the owner rudely ejected me without letting me pay for my coffee there were plenty free tables. If he’s simply said ‘look mate I’ve got people coming in for lunch soon, could you finish up?’ I wouldn’t have minded but he was aggressive and accusatory for no good reason.

Another excellent visit to E-Street Café. Family of 4 with two picky kids and nothing was a problem. Service was perfect we never felt rushed even though the place was busy. The quality of food and presentation is still outstanding. A relaxed atmosphere with the expected 'soul shakin' soundtrack. Can't rate this place highly enough.

On Clarkston Road ,on Glasgow's south side lies this very unique eatery. A Bruce Springsteen themed cafe It is small with only 7 tables, not chic but very cosy and comfortable Food is excellent provided by chef Paul. Presentation is first class. Foods first attraction cos if it looks good, it should in most cases taste good I had a dish called " Southside Johnny".See pic, sourdough, topped with bacon, black pudding and 2 perfect poached eggs. My friend had French toast and bacon with maple syrup. We had two teas and coffees. Total cost £34. Very good quality throughout 😏

Wow! I can't fault it.😋 My friends and I came in for brunch as we were celebrating Eid last week. The food was excellent and so tasty. The coffee was the best we had. It beats other well-known cafes. The staff and the chef / owner were so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere 👌 My two friends had been here before so they recommended to go here again. It was my first time eating here, and now I'm recommending it to everyone. 😍. I will be back!

An amazing brunch spot! We have tried so many of the popular brunch spots in and around Glasgow over the years and nowhere compares to E-Street....we now don't ever want to go anywhere else as we are wasting our money if we do. The quality of food and coffee is outstanding and it never fails to deliver on taste. The Southside Johnny is incredible but the entire menu is too. The fact that this place is owned by a local family makes it even more special as they actually care about every customer rather than you just being another number. The staff are so friendly and amazing with our two young kids. We cannot recommend this wee gem of a place enough! Big love x

Best bruch in the UK. I've been here 100 times and never had a bad brunch. Every poached egg cooked to perfection. A real family atmosphere from the staff. Brilliant.

We have been meaning to stay and sit in for food for so long as the coffee is great! We were not disappointed… it was DELICIOUS.. portions were massive, eggs cooked to perfection and the chorizo hollandaise was something I had never tried before. Staff are so friendly and extra points for being great with our pup Arlo 🥰

Visited here for the first time & the food was amazing. We had chorizo, tomato & fried eggs on sourdough, and a breakfast stack with black pudding, scones, bacon… The stack would have fed both of us. It was so delicious. Great service & really lovely, friendly staff.

Ми йшли у цей заклад більше години, під дощем, не спробувати їх бранчі було б дуже сумно. До речі, про бранчі. Це просто витвір мистецтва. І зовні і на смак. Неймовірно. Атмосфера закладу затишна і душевна. Дуже велике дякую.

What a place. As a family of 4 we had a stunning brunch; the food really was special - full of flavour, beautifully cooked & attractive on the plate. A feast too - the portions are generous & comforting. Enjoyed the Bruce Springsteen vibes/themes and the background music was great Highly recommended. Slightly chilly on the inside, so wear a jumper if it's chilly outside! BTW it's advisable to book at busy times....

Just up from the river on the edge of town is this magic wee diner. Had a nice lean bacon roll, and my partner had eggs benedict, all went down well. Nice service with a human touch, and prices good. Tickettyboo!

Tiny place but interesting menu. Harissa hummus, spiced roasted carrots, fennel yogurt with an eggs benedict?! Yes! Love that they incorporate more than your standard vegetables (ie spinach). There's milk alternatives if that's your jam, and still yummy meat and sweet things too.

Literally obsessed with this place, wanted to go for so long and it did NOT disappoint! The food is amazing, great atmosphere and the theme is on point. Love the food names!! And the staff are v friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Very good brunch menu. Classics with a twist, bringing a good bit of heat or spicing to what would be standard fare. If you like chunky bread and we'll cooked bacon it's for you. Interesting playlist...

Honestly the best brunch I've ever had, and like all stereotypical millennials I've tried a lot. Incredible attention to detail on the food and a really varied menu that goes well beyond the standard poached eggs on avocado toast. A real gem, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing food and service. There are lots of great places for breakfast in Glasgow but here is just that bit extra special. Staff are so friendly. I owe the girl who served us an apology as I had my nose in my phone too much and she was so lovely I hope she didn't feel we were ignorant. Going back this morning and cant wait.
