Dunsilly Hotel Bar and Grill in Antrim

Lovely setting. Very ambiant lighting. Enjoyable meals. 5 starts for the food. Recommend the salt and chilli chips. Would definitely revisit. Gluten free menu has good options. Not all seats have the best view but the food makes up for it.

Lovely hotel will definitely be back there.

We used the restaurant and the food was hardly average.

We did not stay at the hotel but went to the Sunday carvery. The staff, the food and the hotel are amazing. It is clean, crisp, with a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Dunsilly.

Really nice hotel with a great staff and the restaurant serves really nice homemade food, I was very impressed and it was a refreshing change from Premier Inns that I usually have to stay in. I would highly reccomend.

Food and staff here are out of this world I would definitely recommend coming here even if it's only for food. I'd say going by the staff and food the rooms will be just as good

The Dunsilly Hotel is a fantastic accommodation with excellent facilities. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is well-maintained and clean. The food is good, but to make it a truly five-star experience, there is room for improvement. The breakfast and dinner menus could be expanded, and the flavours enhanced. However, the dining area is spacious and well-decorated, and the service is attentive. Overall, I always have a great time at Dunsilly Hotel, and I would recommend it to others. With some improvements to the dining experience, it could easily become a top-notch destination.

We went for tea here, food very good. We stayed a while ago. Rooms lovely, staff are very nice. Location is brilliant fir shopping in Junction one or going to airport.

We go every year for the meal .entertainment and bed and breakfast on new years eve We were there last night.the meal and entertainment was excellent. There was 10 of us Rooms were clean and spotless.breafast was lovely.staff were great and I have to say 1 member of staff stood out and did a fantastic job. Her name was Stella.so pleasant and great at her job.nothkng was a problem.wel def be back next year.we have just spent another new years eve here..it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Food was outstanding. Entertainment amazing.and breakfast was lovely.i have to say Stella is fantastic at her job .she goes over and above.the dunsilly def wouldn't be the same without her..

Been here for a few work meetings. Nicely accessible from M2 and not too far from Belfast International Airport. Staff are pleasant and competent. Can't comment on rooms as never had to stay.

Nice food and good customer service

Nice reception area, bar closed as we arrived at 9.20pm. My room was changed from the rest of the group from the ground floor to the first floor. Door was propped open with a towel, all drawers and cupboard doors open, looked as though it wasn't finished being serviced as there was still a trolley in the corridor, trolley was still there in the morning. Room and bathroom were tired looking, the floor was definitely the creakiest, noisiest floor I ever walked on. Bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep.

They closed the bar early because they wanted to go home, and the cleaners were banging on the door at 10am to get us out of the room early. Wouldn't recommend a stay here.

Must of been 20 of us dining - I’ve been before in 2021 and 2019 - not sure if the management has changed hands but the food is in another league now. Absolutely fantastic - praise all around from everyone.

Great Place to stay, room was tidy and big enough, gutted about the size of the coffee cups as they were a bit on the small side. Staff were great and very helpful. Meal was good both nights we stayed. Good location and easy to get to Antrim and Belfast

The bed, I could feel the springs through the mattress, as someone recovering from a back injury it was the wrost. The shower was terrible, and felt like pins and needles hitting you all over. Super small TV not many channels. No room service, no spa and only semi close to the airport.

Dunsilly hotel / bar and grill is a very nice, clean, and welcoming establishment. The staff are very friendly and professional. The bar/grill has a wide variety of food and beer. The room (my room) is very spacious with good sized bathroom. Wi-Fi is free and has excellent coverage. Not sure if there is a direct shuttle bus to Belfast International Airport, but is only a 15 drive/taxi to the airport. Price of food and beer is no different to any other type of establishment in the area. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again on my many trips for business to the area.

Lovely, comfortable rooms. Excellent guest facilities. Attended for a conference and was well catered for with plenty of space.

We stayed in Dunsilly a few years ago and had a great stay. Unfortunately this time we were disappointed, the service was terrible. We had to ask for menus after waiting a while, we ordered a bottle of wine and it was dropped on the table with two glasses we were not asked to taste the wine. I feel the staff had absolutely no training. Breakfast unfortunately was the same five parties arrived after us and were served before us, we actually had to try and get attention from the staff. The only redeeming feature was the reception, the young lady at the desk was very welcoming and it was the same on checkout. Having spent many years in hospitality both in Ireland and Germany it was very disappointing to see such poor service.

While the rooms were perfectly fine, the real standout is the attached restaurant. All of the food in my party’s group was outstanding. I had the pepper chicken stack, and it was probably the best meal I had in Northern Ireland.

Only had sandwiches and tray bakes ,they were ok but not exceptional for the price

Gerry, the manager, is the most helpful, polite, industrious and well humoured manager I have ever encountered. The breakfast was great, the room comfortable and the atmosphere relaxed.

Stayed overnight before an early morning flight. Beautiful setting, with large bedrooms and common areas. The bar/restaurant is beautiful with outdoor seating available. Full menu - ordered fish & chips and my wife had lasagne. Both dishes were excellent and good portion sizes. Only small complaint (probably my own fault), on the website it says breakfast is from 7am. We had planned to have breakfast before going to the airport at 7.30am. However, breakfast at the weekend is from 8am so we weren’t able to avail of it although included in the price. We were offer the opportunity to go into the restaurant and choose some ‘continental’ items but declined. That said, would still highly recommend this place.

My sister and l called to Dunsilly for breakfast yesterday morning. We were treating ourselves as we'd just found out that my sisters SNUC cancer HADN'T spread to her lymph nodes. My sisters bagel had no soft cheese in it( she asked for) my fry was awful. Food cold and potato bread wasn't even fried!!!! In saying that we got discount and bagel redone with soft cheese but we'll never be back.

Hotel is easy to find - the staff are very polite, welcoming. It was a late arrival pasts 22:00, yet no issues at all. Quick check-in and in our room. The parking is big enough so no issues there The room was big enough, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast started at 8:00 but they allowed us in at 10 mins earlier as we were on a rush to leave to our competition. Food was ok - Full Irish self service and choice of cereal. Would stay there again but not for over 120€

Stayed here for only one midweek night. Great staff here, very friendly. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the bar, lasagne. It's taste was to die for, and the coleslaw. Compliments to the kitchen crew

Reasonable hotel, but really should update the bathrooms. Separate faucets on hot and cold water requiring mixing in the sink went out of favor, what, 70 years ago? Great staff.

Great location, centrally with nearby junction 1 and Asda and Lidl nearby for affordable groceries and/or alcohol. was there for conference but function room nicely decorated and laid out. Had nice soup and sandwiches. Also close by is castle gardens and loughshore park, would need to drive 5mins. But nice for a walk.

I was passing so called in for a coffee and scone, I take my coffee black loved the coffee and tasty scone. Had a second cup.

I went here for an anniversary dinner with my husband. The staff were nice but When I went to eat my food there seemed to be something akin to gravel mixed in with it. I only found this out when I attempted to eat my meal and thought that I had broken a tooth. I showed it to the staff, and my meal was eventually replaced. However my husband had already finished his meal. I was very disappointed and don't think that I would risk going back.

Was at Dumsilly Hotel on Easter Sunday, I have to say it was my first visit and I wasn't disappointed, the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. It was a Cavery but the pudding, tea and coffee were all brought to the table, along with any drinks ( i have to say the diluted orange was lovely, most places I've been you cant taste the orange so WELL DONE YOU'S) It is very disabled friendly, AND last but not least the food was delicious. If I had one small complaint it would be the Yorkshire Pudding I'm sorry but they need improving. BUT FOR EVERYTHING ELSE NO BETTER PLACE TO GO. Thank you to the staff. Oh nearly forgot WE were able to chat over dinner and HEAR EACH OTHER which is something very rarer these days.

It's a pleasant place with friendly service, and the restaurant is pretty good. However, the rooms leave a bit to be desired - the decor is tired and the bed isn't up there with Premier Inn standard. Even turned up to maximum, my shower was only ever lukewarm (I mentioned this after my first night, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed).

Just back from Dunsilly hotel,a we getaway with a friend,we both had a relaxing time,good food,service and friendly staff, rooms were clean and spacious,good value for money,would fully recomend this hotel and would deff go back

Very good carvery on a Sunday. £27 per head, so a bit expensive. Starters were the weakest point on the menu. Friendly staff. Would go back again.

We stayed on Friday, food was great as always, definitely recommend the restaurant. Could maybe train staff a little bit more as the knowledge of the menu was pretty poor. The hotel was nice, however I was corresponding with a member of staff via email and asked for a bottle of prosacco and some bits and pieces for the room as it was our anniversary, after receiving a message saying yes no problem and sending a payment for everything we arrived to nothing in the room which was a massive disappointment. When spoke to the receptionist who was so lovely, I found out that there wasn't even a message or nothing left on the system about the prosacco or any of the emails. A bit of a disappointment but overall was a nice night away.

Only in for a conference service was lovely we had tea / coffees ect very easy to get to overall seems nice. Another conference this time with buffet lunch food was very good sandwiches absolutely lovely beautiful roast ham sausage rolls yum yum 😋

Have eaten here a few times and the food has always been excellent. First came across it while searching for somewhere that caters to the needs of coeliac/gluten free diet. They have a separate gluten free menu, and the kids menu has a few gluten free options too.

Most excellent hotel the staff are very helpful and nothing a bother the restaurant has a good menu and excellent food from local produce bit slow but cooked fresh to order

We call in here regularly for a meal and it is delicious. The staff are lovely but the service can be very, very slow. However the food so far has been beautiful, which is why we return.

We had a Nice relaxing meal here. The main courses were good and lovely and warm, which is a must for me. Desserts not worth the money imo. Atmosphere was pleasant and service was good.

We hadn't booked for the restaurant and waited one hour for meal to arrive. Would book in the future. There were 10 of us. Food excellent, tasty good choices, variety of prices. We had a group of people and they let us pay individually. Which was brilliant.

We usually go here once a year on Boxing Day for a family get together. This was the first time since Lockdown tho, and I'm very happy to say, it's still great!

I arrived to late for evening meal which is always 5 star, breakfast this morning was very good full English as much as you can eat big pot of coffee all included in room price not an extra, except evening meal you pay for 5 stars all the way

Clean rooms , nice bar and friendly people. The breakfast was delicious but it was always the same food. Maybe a small change can be a good help. I had no car and I had to walk more than 20 minutes to get the Juntion Mall or the Dunsilly Park. It's a peacefull hotel.

Bins in room not emptied, mould in rooms, no water to drink in rooms. Reception staff are awesome tho!

I can't rate rooms as never stayed here. Located just off the m2 motorway at junction one. The hotel is lovely. Loads of seating areas. Big foyer. We'll staffed. Quick service and polite staff. Not noisy so can chat over nice drink. Food looks lovely. Carvery on Sunday. Self serve. Disabled friendly

I have only been here for business lunches, can't comment on the rooms. Good lunches with friendly staff - good range of food on offer. Handy location for motorways.
