All staff were amazing and so helpful with our wheelchair. Drinks and food were almost as superb as the service. Will have to find an excuse to come shopping at dunelm again! Thank you!!

What a lovely clean relaxed cafe ,took my granddaughter who ate a lovely Easter biscuit dispute being a bit poorly, hence we sat in the corner out the way ,I had a lovely latte very fussy about my coffee ,and a millionaire s shortbread which was yummy ,we wanted to stay looking at the staff they seemed relaxed but busy but laughing whilst working which was great to see they seemed happy in their work but busy ,we then went to look around the store such lovely things but not enough penny's but we got a little something will definitely come back

Poor service. Tables covered with used crockery. Could look into kitchen whilst waiting in the long queue. Full trays on the floor. Have alerted Trading Standards.

Reasonably priced, clean and quick service. Unfortunately for us as cafe owners ourselves, the tuna melt isn’t advertised properly with onion and peppers in, which couldn’t be eaten, and I recommend using balsamic vinegar instead of a mustard dressing in case of allergies.

At all costs avoid the “American croissant” which looks great in the picture but is so dried up and dull I had to change it. The fruit scone was a bit lifeless too, but staff were helpful.

Staff are friendly and food is nice. So why only two out of five? Because the wait times are so woefully poor. I’ve been coming here for lunch off and on for the last few years (as it’s the only place close to work) and the queue is consistently so slow moving. The staff seem to dawdle around slowly all the while seeming stressed with one another. I just don’t understand how and why the service is always so slow!

Revamped cafe but much worse. The only gluten free option shown on the menu board was a chicken sandwich, which was out of stock. Why can't other sandwiches be gluten free? What about the soup? Staff couldn't say why the baked potatoes are not shown as gluten free. There were options of regular and large coffee but that isn't shown on the menu board. Toasted tea cakes are apparently available but also not on the menu board. What other options could I have had that weren't on it? We shop regularly in Dunelm but doubt we'll use the cafe again.

Visited the Cafe in Dunelm Exeter today. First impressions were very good, few people around ( good sign) the young girl that served us was very pleasant. We were only stopping for a coffee but ordered Hot cross buns too. The young girl put my drinks onto a tray for me & the next tray was filthy, wet tea stained napkins, used tea bags - really not nice. Our hot cross buns arrived quite quickly & smelt lovely. However when trying to eat them they were pretty awful, I have never eaten a tough hot cross bun before & hopefully won't be doing so again. Very disappointed.

I have been to this cafe a few times when shopping and thought it deserved a mention. The cafe is upstairs in the shop, but the place is always clean, staff friendly and it serves excellent coffee and quick food. Their bacon sandwich are some of the nicest I have had anywhere. The also serve very nice Lemon Meringue Pie. The place is suitable for everyone who wants quick good quality refreshment

Mothers day menu had 3 meat main courses and no fish option - vegetarian option was roast cauliflower and the starter was cauliflower soup. Staff were very helpful but service was very slow. The roast was overcooked and the cauliflower was burnt. The roast potatoes were overdone and all the veg overcooked and limp. Overall the food quality was extremely poor. The staff accepted this and said that only one "chef" was working that day. The wine waiter did not show me the bottle to check it was correct and did not offer the wine to be tasted before slopping it into our glasses. We sent back the food, paid for the drinks and left. Very disappointing.

Food was not got and the chicken in the kebab was poor quality. I also expected a naan with my kebab, not just a simple pitta

We always use this chinese takeaway, and have always been pleased. I don't mind paying if the dishes go up in price, but when you get less and pay more ,it's a bit galling. I asked the man on the phone why we only get 8 chicken balls instead of the 10 that used to come with the order. He said its always been 8, but when I said I was looking at the menu, he checked and said its an old menu. Well, it hasn't always been 8 then has it, no-one likes being ripped off, and don't lie.
