Conseguir la bolas! ! ! ! !

we used to go in this restaurant quite often and the food is always excellent (from the dumplings in every variety to the main dishes). we chose to rate with four stars because the service is not always excellent as the food is and you need to be lucky to find the right waiters!

Jaja

Deliciously yummy. Freshly Handmade Noodle soups. Few selections only. Not bad for originality. Oh yes great Dumplings in steam/fried/grilled. Affordable prices too. More of Northern China way of cooking. Not your typical fast food dumplings.

No volveremos!

Pas cher, mais vraiment basique. Les plats manquaient d'assaisonnement. Restaurant alimentaire uniquement aucun plaisir particulier.

Ordered the fried noodles with vegetables, but the ration of veg to noodles was really low, and I cd have cooked better at home frankly. Noodles were also not very hot, or tasty. I don't think any flavourings had been used. No sauces like soy sauce on the tables either. Asked for some, and then had it served in a saucer. Won't go back.

I have happened to eat in this restaurant as it was close to my accommodation and located in one of the central streets of Glasgow. As I was alone, I have been attracted by the cheap prices, especially as for hot pot soups. In particular, I have tried the first time the sea food noodles soup (£ 8,80), which was quite big and tasty. The second night, I had dumplings and chicken noodles soup (£ 7,50). The service is quite quick and the quality of the dishes deserves a tip. Recommended place if you are alone and want to have a fast, yet healthy and good-quality meal!

My boyfriend loves dumplings, one of his favourite foods in fact, so when we noticed this little restaurant in passing we knew it wouldn't be long until we gave it a try - it didn't disappoint. We tried one of each of the dumpling fillings in the smaller 6 dumpling size, two in soup one fried and one steamed. All were delicious (although I wasn't overly fussed for the vinegar/sweet chilli sauce that came with them, I had accidentally thought the vinegar was soy...total shock when I took a big dip!). Service was average but perfect for the type of evening we wanted

Family ate here recently (errm.. several times 'recently' in fact! As often as we can since it opened!). Absolutely fantastic all round. Such friendly service from wonderful staff. The dishes are a steal at around £6-7 for noodles I think. The dumplings are also a bargain and are outstanding, fresh and bursting with stacks of tasty of fillings. We also had the chilli beef noodles, mince pork noodles and 5 spice spare ribs noodles, all highly recommended. The fact that the noodles are made from scratch makes an enormous difference. I think I could easily eat a bowl of them with nothing but veg stock and they would still be delicious. My son couldn't get enough of the grilled dumplings with pork and prawns. Definitely going back. Repeatedly. Wonderful to get such authentic food on Sauchiehall Street.

Went and had lunch here for some traditional Chinese. staff are nice and knowledgeable. The menu is compact and direct to the pont. Dumplings, soup based noodles and rice. Had chicken noodle soup that was nice. We both shared grilled dumplings... Amazing. My friend had chicken dish that was nice too.my beef noodle dish tasted like my chichen noodle soup with fatty\grizzly beef slices=not pleasant. They only have 3different fillings for the dumplings. It was good value for money and fantastic dumplings... Shame the beef and limited selection of dumplings was a letdown. It was however totally authentic Chinese cooking with no MSG or sweet&sour... Yippeee. I will be trying the "dumpling monkey" resturatnt next time for comparison: which I hear is fantastic. Will I return some day and hope things improveas it's got excellent potential

Chanced upon this place as I was working in the area and needed a quick feed, very friendly staff who were happy to recommend a couple of dishes.I had spicy beef noodles with some chicken and mushroom dumplings which were grilled. The noodles came in a huge bowl with a delicious broth and large chunks of melt in the mouth beef. The dumplings were very tasty although I could have done without them as the noodles were so filling.Noodles and dumplings both hand made on the premises, I will return.

I'd eat noodles for every meal if it was feasible and I love Chinese dumplings, so I was itching to try this place. All of the dumplings were great, but the north east style ones were particularly good. The soup noodle bowls are huge and tasty, although my beef dish could have had more flavour. My partner's spicy pork mince noodles were amazing though. I'll be back to try everything else on the menu.

I can't believe the other reviews give this place 5 stars. I tried this place for lunch and was completely disappointed as I love Chinese food and was delighted to think there might be a decent restaurant near my work. The chicken noodle soup tasted of hot water. I had a spicy beef main course and it was some of the worst meat I've ever been served, 70% fat and gristle. I also had a jasmin tea and it was as aromatic as the soup. Neither myself nor my companion ate much at all and we will never, ever go back to this place. Avoid at all costs. I think the name comes from the fact that if you go in, you're a dumpling.

After a recent trip to London and having the best dumplings EVER i was disappointed. There was a tiny amount of filling which did taste ok but nothing to scream about. On the menu it says 'seafood dumpling' when in fact its pork and prawn. I did point this out to management but didnt seem too bothered. The amount of dipping sauce is not enough for your dumplings but they are happy to give you more. The price is good, you get 6 for £4 or 12 for £7. I am going to try it again due to the fact that it hadnt been open long so i could understand the disorganisation....teething problems i hope!

3rd time here since they opened a month ago. My wife and I happened upon it by chance on the way to Loon Fung down Sauchiehall for dim sum and decided to give it a try. So glad that we did. Favorite dishes are their pan fried dumplings (northeastern style), spicy minced pork noodle soup (dan dan mian), and their marinated pork knuckles (thin slices of jellied meat flavored with chinese wine and spices). They make their noodles and dumpling wrapping fresh, and that makes a real difference. Their flavor balance is basically spot on--classic chinese flavor profiles for each of the different dishes. My wife and I usually end up paying £20 for lunch. The couple running the place is, i think, cantonese and the kitchen staff speak mandarin. The service is warm and attentive though not entirely professional (they will start greeting other customers while taking your order, ok!?). It's a family-run restaurant, what can I say. I wish their decor is a bit more hip but it's very comfortable anyway. Is it the best dumpling and noodle place? If you want vanguard top-notch chinese, visit Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong or even Los Angeles. But this is certainly my go-to place now for chinese noodle soup and dumplings in Glasgow.

food served as for. poor people I ordered chow main with chicken, they gave me just pasta with onion reheated from the microwave, it definitely wasn't fresh pasta because it was pungent, and the soup was even worse. it was made from a stock cube, no taste, no nothing, they added pasta and sold it, it's a shame, you people don't have any taste for a penny, you used to make very good dishes, now what you make is not suitable for eating, after all you can only eat pasta without meat The one I ordered was some kind of circus.
