Duck Duck Goose Express in Brent

Fue una experiencia terrible. Había cucarachas en mi contenedor. Mis dumplings eran grasosos y en general esta fue la peor experiencia que he tenido. No voy a volver.

I went here with my kids who used to love this place. I was amazed to see how expensive it had became. I ordered duck and noodles which was so greasy and the sauce on the noodles was sweet tasting, as if lots of sugar had been added. My kids had crispy pork which was also alarmingly fatty and greasy. The pork was almost pure fat with little meat. Their rice was lumpy and stodgy as if it had been re-cooked multiple times. The waitress was unfriendly. We all felt very queasy afterwards. How could this restaurant have gone downhill after having been so good? With a heavy heart I have to say I won’t be coming back.

I used to love Speedy noodles for the tasty chicken vermicelli with green veggies and onion but I had to throw it away this time when I got home as the bits of chicken were too big and tasteless. Also there weren’t any veggies, just the onion. The gentleman wasn’t very welcoming either. I used to go several times years ago and I went on purpose to remember the good times but now prices have doubled up and when I asked as the menu wasn’t updated online, the gentleman said Speedy Noodles had closed a long time ago and that prices had changed but weren’t online. When I asked to help me finding the prices on the menu, he just said them but did not move from the till to help me to point at the dishes on the menu. Oh well as a result of the poor customer service, the dip in the food quality and the prices, I know that I will not come back ever again. Even if there are now big tv screen showing nice dishes and the place has been refurbished, I’ll stick to the restaurant I have next to my house for the quality of the food, cheaper prices and customer service. Thank you Speedy noodles and the staff before the pandemic who made lunch and dinner a tasty experience.

Chose this as it was near to Kiln Theatre.It has air conditioning. I had chicken and sweetcorn soup followed by mixed meat and seafood noodles.The soup was fine if a bit on the thick side.The noodles were disappointing.A couple of prawns were the seafood.The majority of the meat was roast and crispy pork.I had a diet coke and the bill came to £16.60,not really value for money.

£13.99 for 2 type of meat roast pork and duck. There is about 12 cubes of meat and 6 small pieces of duck without much meat work out to nearly £1 for a cube of meat, my rough est. £100 a kilo. disgusting profit. seafood noodle burnt dry taste, not fresh. 4 prawns 3 squit, 3 thin slice fish cakes beef hofun burnt dry taste, not fresh 7 pieces of dry stale beef Service take it or leave it. couldn't care less. The Young girl waiter not friendly Food to avoid.

What has happened to this once excellent restaurant? I have been a regular for years and always had top notch food and service. Last time I went I ordered duck with noodles for lunch and it was unbelievably greasy! I could hardly eat a thing. I was surprised by the fall in standards. I will go back and give it one last chance and I hope to see an improvement.

Worst experience I never had in this restaurant. Third time I come to eat, first two times amazing food and amazing service this time they have been rude, unreasonable and unprofessional. First they don’t apply 20% off on takeaways even if the same articles has the same prices, after been forced to eat in to get the discount due to an health emergency I had to run away (my partner was feeling very sick) I kindly asked for a takeaway box and they charge me 50P for the smallest container I never seen in my life, when I asked to get a small bit more spicy sauce they said “they are not allowed”. I never paid in my life for takeaway boxes, and I never been treated so badly in any place in London. I really hope this review will let you understand this is not a good place, I’m feeling so disappointed and unhappy. I will not definitely come back.

First time visiting ordered the bbq quo meal thought it was really nice except the duck could of been rendered a bit better. Dumplings nice n atmosphere ok, the server was very knowledgeable which was great.

Used to be a regular, but the food and service have gone downhill. For a restaurant with duck in the title, they hardly ever have it available. Prices are ok, but you get what you pay for. Avoid any dish with beef - it's as tough as shoe leather.
