JRC Global Buffet Wembley in Brent

I returned to the JRC Global Buffet in Wembley with high expectations based on previous experiences, but unfortunately I was disappointed by the changes to the menu and the quality of the food. In the past, this restaurant stood out for its generous selection of seafood – seafood salads, a wide variety of pizzas and diverse dishes. Now, although the food is still varied, the feeling is that you are always eating the same thing, without that element of surprise and freshness that made the difference. A big minus is the area where fish, shrimp and mini-octopus are prepared on the spot. Unfortunately, they have no taste, and the chef cooks them too hard, ending up burning them. This affects the dining experience considerably, especially for those who come specifically for the seafood dishes. Overall, the atmosphere is pleasant and the buffet concept remains attractive, but if the quality of the dishes and their diversity are not improved, the restaurant risks losing its charm. I hope they return to the old standards.

best buffet I've been so far with very accommodating staff.

I didn't believe others' comments and gave a try last Saturday. The food was fine, but the speed refilling the food was s***. After sitting in about 15 minutes, a reservation for about 100 people (children in non-UK school uniform and their teachers) arrived. The restaurant seemed not have an intention to refill the empty pots and trays of foods- the foods choices were very limited. I asked the manager and the refill was a little bit improved. Still, many of the foods on the menu were not seen. If this is the marketing stragety, I won't have the second chance dining here. Maybe other JRC would be better. Some other buffet restaurants charge more than £70 per head plus service charge, but for me options of foods are far more important. Overall, service good, staff are nice; but the food options are terrible, and this place is definitely not suitable for party or celebration.

Been a few times before and always found it lovely, however last night was a totally different experience. Food was cold, waited for ages for things to be replaced (the salad bar stuff never did ) the jelly pots in the desert were not set so they were runny liquid, the set up had changed and they didn’t have as much fresh fish choice, the duck pancakes were already made up but not everyone likes the sauce inside and the amount of duck was insane, you needed a magnifying glass to find it. We sat in a different area than normal and it was so noisy and not helped by the 2 waiting staff that were cleaning plates into their trolley right beside us, they were throwing the cutlery into a bowl which was very loud and quite off putting when your trying to eat, along with the bowl of food slop it doesn’t make you feel hungry at all. Toilets were dirty, it had just lost its appeal so won’t be heading back there again.

Really disappointed. There was no Chicken Shish only wings. The usual large spare ribs were missing. The dessert option was limited as there was no Eton Mess or Chocolate Fountain. Yet the price was the same.

A real letdown. Not as good as our last visit. What food was there was cold or warm rather than hot. No Chicken Shish only chicken wings. Only tiny ribs rather than the usual larger meaty ribs. No Chocolate fountain. No Eton mess. Yet, they expect to charge the same as usual.

Came here on a weekday around 4pm and it was very quiet, the restaurant temperature was cold which then meant the food turned cold almost immediately. Started off in the Japanese section, the sushi did not taste fresh and the options were basic, the fried food looked so good but all were cold and thus unenjoyable as the crispiness was gone - as an aside why would you have a buffet with a small light for heat? Other places have the closed heated facility to cover the food and keep it hot, which is clearly what this place needs. Moved to the European section, as shown in the photos all food is laid out with minimal heat to keep it warm, so no surprise that the food was so cold. Also the European section faces the entry to the buffet from the downstairs section which was very cold and so all the cold was directed to the European section and so all the food was stone cold here too, did not enjoy any of the offerings I got from here. Moved to the Chinese section, thought there’d be some hope in the food being hot since it appeared to be on heating stations. Tried the red Thai beef curry with the rice, by the time I got to my seat my food was not hot. Same with the steamed dumplings which were steaming when placing in my place but not hot either. The noodles on offer was also lacking and not very flavoursome. We ordered the pasta on demand which was freshly made and the only hot item due to this, it was more of a ramen and tasted very basic. Shouldn’t have been surprised since it did say it was from chicken stock and that was all I could taste. Dessert was mediocre too, the pineapple crumble was the only dish which was stored in a heated and covered container thus was very hot when eating. The chocolate fountain was not running but I assume it runs in the evening. All in all, the worst buffet I’ve ever had, shocking that all food is left in the open and this place does not have the facilities for the closed lid heated buffet containers like most buffet places do. Everything was unenjoyable and cold just like the restaurant and so my experience was not a pleasant one. I would never recommend nor would I return, the price paid is expected for this type of buffet but the food on offer is a disgrace. If you like your food cold and lacking in flavour, and want to sit in a restaurant that is equally cold, then this place is for you.

Majority of the food was freezing cold, even though we got there at 1pm as they just opened. Nowhere near as much choice as the Watford restaurant. Very disappointed. Who wants cold orange beef or cold custard?!

I came here with friends and we spent £32 each. We were met with raw steak, undercooked chicken, tasteless, gruely food. Around 30 mins into the restaurant, one of my friends went to the bathroom and disappeared for 15 mins. I went to check on him and he was non-stop throwing up. The entire 15 minutes. Moment he was relieved we packed up our stuff and left. A week later, I’m currently dealing with constipation or indigestion or whatever it is. The restaurant was good in the past but after what we had happen, we’re never coming back.

We were able to get a table without a reservation. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, including sushi, Indian food, chicken nuggets and fries, Chinese cuisine, and even lamb. It was my first time seeing lamb and chicken masala served at a buffet. The cost is £25 per person. Drinks are not included in the buffet price and must be purchased separately from a menu on the table. A glass of soda costs an additional £4. We had to go to the bar to purchase our drinks because no one came to our table to take our orders. We would come back if we are ever around again.

I paid £27 for the buffet. It was definitely not worth it. The food was cold and some of the dishes did not have food. The choice of food was not great. The only good thing is the grilled fish and prawns. I was not impressed with having to pay £4 for soft drinks. The seating and the environment is very nice.

Today was a brilliant day thanks to JRC Wembley, they did everything and more for us. An excellent day to remember for my mum who celebrated her birthday. A MASSIVE thanks to the staff and management 🥳

The food and service was ok but the atmosphere was quite good.They could improve on the dessert section by preparing all the different dishes more frequently and not keeping them there all day(probably) (I forgot to take pictures of my main plates)

Omg what happen to this place. I used to love going here. When I had a celebration I always bought many friends and family here, as the food was amazing. Went there for my birthday, man tried to charge me for entry, which normally free if it's your birthday. Got a 25 pound refund from the boss man. Went in. It was empty. Ok fine Started to look for food. Sushi was great. Went to the English part. Food was terrible, allot of it was cold. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Indian food was good, lamb was cooked too fast, not tender what so ever, like eating chewing gum. And allot of the time I was getting dagger looks from the manager and some Japanese guy working there. Won't return Mangerment have ruined the place. Shame

I'll always be grateful to how the staff set a different area for us when we held our wedding reception there. It felt like a private and intimate experience despite it being a buffet. 10/10

I visited JRC Wembley today 17th January 2025 and what a brilliant way to start the New Year. Although it was around 4 pm , the place was well prepaired and food was ready to enjoy. Large selection of food was amazing also so many vareties including shelled scalop , freshly made bread, Sushi , King Prawns , roasted lamb , large slection of fresh fruits and lots more. Wow, JRC Global Buffet on Wembley Park Boulevard is an absolute gem! I recently visited and was blown away by the entire experience. The selection of food was impressive, with cuisines from all over the world. From Japanese sushi to Indian curries, there was something for everyone. I also brought my ten year old son and there is a special offer until Chinese New Year thameans kids eat completely free! What stood out the most was the quality of the food. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The live cooking stations added a fun and interactive element to the dining experience. Watching chefs prepare dishes right in front of us was a delight! The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a family outing or a casual meal with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. Overall, JRC Global Buffet exceeded my expectations. It's not just a meal, but an experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a wide variety of delicious food in a lively atmosphere, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Food OK, some items too cold to eat, some bland, some clearly old. Nice atmosphere. Staff range from over zealous in clearing plates that aren't even finished to indifferent when actually trying to get attention. Process not clearly explained at all, and quite drastically overpriced for self service sub standard food, especially when not even soft drinks included! All stations which promise fresh dishes are unmanned and look like they have been decommissioned permanently. Disappointed and not in a rush to return unfortunately.

JRC is always my favorite place for dine in with family as well as friends.

I have visited this place before and the food was fresh and tasted good. However, I went yesterday and the food was all dry, no flavour, the fruits were few days old and to make things worse there was a fly on the food. For £30 it was not worth it at all.

We had two tall children with us, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old, and we ended up paying £25 each for them. Drinks are not included in the buffet price and must be purchased separately from a menu on the table. A glass of soda costs an additional £4. We had to go to the bar to purchase our drinks because no one came to our table to take our orders. Overall, the buffet has a good variety of food and desserts. When factoring in the cost of drinks, it ends up being £30 per person, but the food was tasty, so I think it was worth it. I'm not a fan of the policy of charging full price for children just because they're tall. Children who are taller than 150 cm will be charged the adult price. We visited this place twice while staying in the Wembley area. We would come back if we are ever around again.

10 of us dined here and although the food was tasty and of good quality it was let down badly by most hot dishes being cold. The food cooked from the grill was good but rice chips noodles curries and some meats very cold. Duck was so tough because it was cold. A great shame because I would of given a higher rating.

Great food and service. A good variety from the mains to the dessert. Washroom is clean and fresh. Staff are also very polite.

I am sorry but this place is not anymore what was once... They used to have chocolate fountain bit not anymore, they used to have refill drinks included in price, not aymore. Sorry but i was disappointed.

They got the chicken korma and chicken tikka masala mixed up and the chicken korma contained nuts which triggered my nut allergy. After confronting the manager he laughed it off with an apology. Do not reccomend this to anyone at all

Disgusting. Worst buffet I've ever been to. All the food was luke warm, poor choice, wasn't really busy enough to justify it being so sparce. Food is poor quality, really poor. Nearly of it has dried up under the heat lamps, just plain and simple. Place is Disgusting save yourself £25pp and eat out of a bin.

It was the first buffet my now husband when we began dating.Has a large variety to choose from....it's mostly Chinese....I love it

All food options were cold and tasted horrible. Half the options weren’t available. Staff weren’t friendly. And the price is falsely advertised outside the restaurant saying it includes drinks however once you have paid and got in they proceed to charge you at the bar for drinks.

Food was good with various of veg , non-veg dishes. There were lot of deserts but I would appreciate if they can update veg/non-veg note along with dish names. It would be really helpful to understand if it’s vegetarian or not.

Great spot for quantity meals after a long day out shopping with friends. Especially good for those who cannot decide what to eat it offers a grand variety of meals.

It’s the first time I came to this buffet with my husband for my birthday, from the welcoming tell the end everything was amazing the food wasn’t to heavy and you can feel that it was fresh not like the rest of the buffets we definitely recommend it 100%

Buffet price of £25 per person is not bad (have to pay for drinks separately). Enough varieties to catch the eye. Sadly most of the food is “COLD” and dried out Biggest ripoff was the lobster 🦞 which you need to pay extra, sadly when you get it, most of the real meat inside is taken out and replaced with cheese and again inside is cold and dry. Worst place for vegetarians ( not sure about non-veg options ) but couldn't think of one single dish which we liked. Would never visit again. food was cold and no taste at all. My daughter who could eat any tasteless pasta , garlic bread and fries at home couldn't eat there. Food quality was very cheap.Not worth the price and do not recommend at all. Only pro : went on my birthday so did not have to pay for myself .

Out standing food ambience and the owner was super active. The whole of the buffet was halal. But I would suggest to keep the desserts also halal anybody can eat by mistake. My experience was amazing and I would recommend everyone to try JRC

I visited the buffet restaurant on my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The wide variety of dishes was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating a special day, and the service was excellent. I’m really glad I chose this place for my birthday meal and would definitely recommend it to others.

The food was of very very low quality. The rice was undercooked every where, the taste of every food was way below average. There was a lot of variety as shown in my photos however the taste is horrible so if you are expecting any good quality food or good ingredients or good taste in this buffet, avoid it. Also the price is unreasonable and they don’t even offer any water or drinks and charge you extra for the same. The buffet is very cheap quality, staff is so impolite and very rude. They only give you one spoon at a time and the buffet is always cold. I tried almost every section and a couple of dishes we all took to share however the taste was so bad, we left most of it and the desserts are also very bad, worst desserts in a buffet ever.

Ate here this evening. Don’t think I’ll ever be back. Over priced for a lack of variety. The Indian and Chinese selection was limited. And dishes were either cold or dry. And the English / pizza section didn’t look any more appealing. The saviour was the sushi which was well made. The desserts were okay and had variety. But those can’t compensate for a poor main meal experience.
