Dry Dock in North East Lincolnshire

Cheap cocktails 2-4-1. Although they aren't as tasty as other cocktail bars. Nice decoration, although very empty when we went in and very bright which didn't help to create a welcome environment.

Last night was my second visit to dry dock in as many months. Once again we attended as a large party, this time our booking was for 20 people. Overall this was a great night, there were a few hiccups but the cocktails were flowing and laughter was plentiful. This was a meal in celebration of my birthday and we were allowed to decorate the table, and put a cake behind the bar for after. The cake was presented to the table by the staff whos customer service was on point all night. A couple of orders weren't quite right and some of the feedback from others in the party was that their food was not as good as last time. I enjoyed all of mine except the vegetable fitters which i would say were much nicer last time. other than that though, cannot fault them at all and will be returning. Thankyou to all the staff for another wonderful night :)

Myself and a larger group of friends ate at Dry Dock Saturday night, the place itself is clean and nicely done inside. The drinks were wonderful, I had a fair few cocktails and enjoyed them all. It was two for one also, which was great! The food came out quickly and it was all very tasty, and nicely presented. The price was incredibly reasonable and for the quality you received it was surprising! Myself and my friends enjoyed the different dishes and left very full and happy. I would go back for another meal happily.

I attended as part of a larger group this weekend, in discussions after the night, we have mostly all agreed that it was a great dining experience. The place is beautifully decorated, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the food I had ordered, and the food the rest of my party ordered looked well presented. We had pre-ordered due to the size of our party so food came out quickly and was piping hot. We stayed for cocktails after our meal, which went down well at 2 for 1. I will definitely return here, I would like to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu, although there are some, I felt limited when choosing the 5 dishes for £20.

I went with a party of friends, but not even the flowing alcohol and friendly fun could keep us away from the disappointment that was the food at Dry Dock. At Dry Dock you order several dishes to the table to share and taste, about 3 each works well. Being we had quite a sizeable party, my friends and I were able to try a lot of the dishes, here is my review of the ones I tried: Fish goujons: weird smelling and tasting Scotch egg: bland and boring, the sausage was low quality and tasteless. Tempura veg: Wayy too greasy Chilli beef: actually quite nice although the vegetables accompanying it seemed pretty limp Continental Kebab: I could find a nicer one after a quick walk through Tesco. Scallops: Rubbery and bland Drinks: Well made and flavoursome. We all quite enjoyed the cocktails and they were nicely priced if ordering for two. I felt quite unwell the rest of the night with bloating and not amazing in the morning either. Unless there is changes I won’t be eating there again.

Friday night tea with the family and wanted to try somewhere different so thought we would give this place a go. Ordered Tapas, quite disappointed with the food and found it expensive for what we got. I was charged incorrectly but really couldn't be bothered to go back to the till to get it sorted seeing as it was insisted I pay extra for the scallops even though this was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. The place was empty and was really cold though the decoration is really nice. Overall it was just ok, expected better. Wouldn't be rushing back or recommending.

Great home cooked food in a nice place with views over the river head, probably the best little gem you will find in Grimsby Town centre.

Just love this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, never had to go to the bar once. We had the Seafood Platter and three of the Pick & Mix Deli choices. The food was excellent, and the service brilliant. Highly recommend it, we will be going back regularly.

I went with my friend for a meal and drinks , we both ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection and very large , we had cocktails which are 2 4 1 and were lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive and I would definitely go back .

After having a few drinks on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks ago we decided to go to the Dry Dock last week for our mid week tea.We were shown to our table in the window, the place was spotlessly clean and the decor and ambience were lovely.We ordered our drinks and food, the service was very good considering the waitress was on her own. The food was very good, the only complaint was that after ordering two items on the menu we were later told they were not available. Also so the sharing platter we ordered was not the same as was on the menu. All in all this is a lovely place for food or a few drinks a little gem in Grimsby.

What a surprise to find such a lovely bar in the town centre. If you find a lot of the bars are not your taste (as we do) then head here. Really well renovated an great cocktails at a great price. Order before 11pm to get 2-4-1 cocktails.

Had lunch here today and it was excellent. I had the Italian burger served with relish, hand cut fries and salad, my daughter the mushroom and garlic pasta. Both meals were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with the tables all well apart and comfortable chairs. Great place to stop for coffee.Lara the waitress was great and very helpful and attentive even bringing us fresh bread, olive oil and balsamic to nipple at while waiting for our meal.we will certainly be returning.

Be aware the food takes awhile to arrive but it’s well worth it and it’s not an issue if you know. The service is amazing the bar staff are so attentive and lovely. Got to say the best quality cocktails in Grimsby (best pornstar martini I have had in a long time). Just asked the waitress her name and Lara is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it there.
