Dragonfly King's Lynn - Surya Hotels in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

If you want a tepid self serve coffee for £4 this is the place for you. Next time I charge my car I’ll just save this hotel the bother (it did seem like a bother) and hit the Sainsbury’s just before the roundabout coming from Kings Lynn instead.

DO NOT charge you car here. They say you need to enter your registration to prevent a parking ticket. I did so while charging, AND even bought a coffee - then two weeks later had a parking charge issued from some company called "Civil Enforcement Ltd". They give you no number or name to respond to and refuse to give any justification OR check any CCTV. Honestly I'm not even sure they're a real company. I don't know why dragonfly are passing on my details to this random company, but it's NOT a good look and I will not be staying or charging my car there again. The staff in the hotel seemed nice enough but the whole experience is really not good.

A very nice place. I have been staying for about two weeks and I actively recommend it. Being a bit far from Kings Lynn, you may think it is inconvenient, but it is really a 10 minute walk. The best thing without a doubt is the staff, very professional and very correct. They look for solutions to your problems quickly and effectively. And they never lack a smile.

Terrible hotel with an agreement in place to scam people parking in the allocated spaces. Take my advice, pick a better hotel that doesn't scam people and provides decent rooms. Even Travelodge is better than this (with no risk of dodgy parking fines).

No food on offer here until after 2pm so if you are in a meeting here please or course, you can't get anything to eat without driving out or bringing a pack up in. Also if you do bring your own food they won't let you eat it on their tables as they have a hang up about this for some strange reason. I would understand if they had anything on offer but they don't so why cry about it? Pathetic way to do business

Not so great an experience but it was a place to lay my head and rest for the night. I had to come down to take my food that I ordered. I wasn't even told about the features of what I ordered. It wasn't until the next morning that my friend told me breakfast was included in my option. I went downstairs only to meet that the food was almost gone and now cold. I didn't like that part at all. The staff can do better to be more friendly, accommodating and give the details of your stay. My room was small. I guess it came with the standard price.

Room was very comfortable and clean and once I had worked the radiator out, warm ! Noisy with people coming back to their rooms up until 12 midnight! Then quiet until about 7.30 in the morning with the same noise repeated by the same ignorant people probably! Maybe security could do a few patrols between 11pm and 12???

Good place where to stay for night

Great location, just off of the A47. Friendly welcome from the team who were very happy to allow me to check-in a bit early. Loads of parking, loads of signs warning about the charges and the staff directed me to the tablet to register my vehicle to avoid any charges. Room was a little worn in places and a bit dingy - it was quite dull outside and the only window overlooked a row of tress so not much in the way of natural light. I would have preferred a ceiling light rather than just the up-lighters. Massive TV, comfy bed, well equipped and spacious bathroom with a fabulous rain shower.

Easy and convenient place to charge our car, please note you will have to register to avoid a fine! I don’t really understand the other reviews saying they received a fine because they ‘did not see the sign’. There are multiple signs upon entering the carpark, and then there is a sign on every charger giving instructions on how to register at the hotel (which takes all of a few seconds).

Disgusting place smelly and the bedding as all marks all over it the worst hotel I've stayed in do not go there you'll regret it

Parked to charge my Tesla. There are a lot of signs advising to register for parking which is fair. However, to charge nearly £4 for a self-service coffee as a takeaway is a joke. It makes zero sense at all ripping people off, I live not far away and charge at this supercharger maybe three times a week. Knowing that they overcharge for a coffee does not want to make me come back to eat from their restaurant or sleep in their rooms as I would now imagine that to be overpriced too!

Clean and tidy rooms, decent quality food and friendly staff. Handy location.

We were surprised how good this hotel was, well above our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful. Perfect location as well

We found almost nothing wrong with this hotel. The breakfast could be improved on, buffet style but no fried or poached eggs. The sausages looked insipid, I would suggest some are well cooked to accommodate guests who prefer their sausages well cooked, they were a putoff. The beds were comfortable the shower was great. Our room was clean. Not somewhere I would stay for a longer period but fine for a few days. All the staff were helpful and cheery.

Nice hotel. Great bar, reception, restaurant and seating area. Our room was clean and quiet. Self serve Breakfast is superb. Good drinks choice and a limited but decent menu. Staff throughout were keen to please, helpful, friendly and professional. The location was a bit of a let down for us as there is only industrial units around it. I do appreciate that may not be a concern for others.

No hot water, reported this, someone came and checked, I had to get dressed. 7.00 next morning, still no hot water, rang reception bringing a a key for neighbouring room to use shower, had to get dressed again. Opened curtains to find pot noodle with fork in it behind curtains. Complained about all this, no offer of compensation or anything, not even a reply. And I would have stayed there again but not now.

If i could give 0 i would, vile hotel and staff.

Called in for a coffee on a wet Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff and serve yourself coffee machine

Stopped for lunch as wanted to support hotel when using the Tesla charger. Chips were ok but pizza poor, a very cheap supermarket one. Recommend just having a drink.
