Always amazing food, great delivery times even on a weekend and excellent prices!

Ordered the special fried rice. Nothing special about it. Dry egg rice with a couple of prawns, chicken and whatever it was. £11 and no prawn crackers

I ordered a chicken chow mein and chips. It was decent, I enjoyed it. It was hot, good portion size and tasty. The prices are the most reasonable in the town, other chinese takeaways are extortianate! This takeaway is CASH ONLY and this was a bit inconvenient for me as I was on a bicycle. All in all, the dish I ordered was very good.

I had Char Siu fried rice, it consists of rice, egg, roast pork and peas, spices and condiments but all I could taste was salt. Take that bowl of salt away from the cook and give him a one hole salt cellar.

I got a munchy box from here from me and my son to share and the chicken ball are still pink inside everything is burnt just thrown into the box don't know what is chips and what is chicken and also don't state that it comes with vegetables and halapinos and curry sauce 😒 raging a waste of near 30£

I Don’t recommend coming to Dragon House for anything at all! Cold Chicken Noodle Soup. The chicken in the soup is over cooked. The egg fried rice is frozen hard. The chicken with sweet and sour chicken is has no flavour. The sauce is the only thing good from this Chinese Takeaway. Just Don’t come here at All!

Order lemon chicken nd two chicken curry's 3 egg fried rice and 2 chips. All the chicken was still half raw took it back to shop from them to try say it was powder 🤣 tried to call police on me cause I asked for full refund told them I'd wait for them. Ended up getting my refund and then they took it upon there self to text me and say I was banned like I would ever go back after how rude they was to me and there raw food never going back

Absolutely disgusting 🤢 our munchy box was like a deep fryer everything was crunchy and greasy and the curry sauce u can't even explain the taste and then it was so salty and the prawn crackers were like they were left open for 2 days and closed again

Everything was room temperature and hardly seasoned. Spring rolls were 80% pastry and the fried beansprouts looked, smelled and tasted awful. Entire meal tasted like someone's leftovers. Not good

Worst take away I have ever had. Could not eat it as tasted disgusting. I wanted to take it back but my husband said no just put it in the bin. I would not usually put a bad review but I have had to purposefully post this. It has that they are closed just now but I have definitely just bought a meal so either someone has broken in to try and sabotage the place or the we site is wrong.

Waited 90 Minutes for the food. Once it arrived, the food was cold/barely warm. I had a Chicken Chow-mein which was cold and tasted awful. The Chicken Fried Rice was good however not that warm and the Chips were cold.

Absolutely shocking food bland salty no taste and looks like something you wouldn't eat . Very poor all went in the bin .

Got to be the worst takeaway I've ever had. My hubby and I had prawn chow mein and chicken curry which we had half each. Hardly any prawns the sauce was awful, as for the chicken curry we couldn't eat it, I'm sure it was tripe or something similar, it was thinly sliced and slimy, definitely not chicken. NEVER again 😒

So bad i had to return the food and get my money back .

We visited this place two weeks after it opened. My hubby had Singapore Chow Mein then and I had Chicken Chow Mein. Mine was as hot (Chili wise) as hubbys and shouldn't have been. He said his was not what he had from other Bigger City meals. We didn't go back until Sunday night when he had the same dish hoping it had improved.....not so it was even worse if that can be possible. The Noodles were overcooked and were congealed in the container and when he tipped it out onto his plate it fell out in one big lump. I decided to try Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls, they're were eight in total measuring 4"×2" but that was mainly the inedible batter surrounding it. We paid £16.40 for it and we ended up putting it in our food bin. I'm not sure who is cooking or if they're even qualified to cook, but we won't be going back there again ever. We should have realised there was a problem when we were told to pick it up in 10 minutes and when hubby arrived 10 minutes later it was already in the warming box.

This was the worst curry I have ever had,come without rice,phoned and was told I had to order rice the rice separate,my partner had a Duck Chow Mein the duck was over cooked the chow mien was dry no sauce in it,he also ordered pineapple rings,they were dripping with grease,couldn’t eat them. Won’t be ordering from them again. Disgusting mess very little eaten. Never order from them again.

Very poor quality food. Chicken chowmein is like raw fish in stodgy noodles. Crispy seaweed smelled and tasted chemically/oily. We thought it was the box at first. Disgusting, even dogs wouldn't eat it.

Another excellent take-away from Dragon House. Food was delicious, huge portions and delivered quickly. Would highly recommend.

Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had, the only thing that was good was the Salt and Chilli chips! Never been before but we got a menu through our door and thought we’ll try it… Prawn crackers were the cheap rubbery type and they cost £2.50 for a small bag! Never in my life had I seen a pink chop suey till today🥴 Asked for plain noodles and got what was like spaghetti with veg and sauce Chicken fried rice was served with sauce!? And in the same container!!? Tf Definitely will never be back and will tell people to stay away and go to Peking Palace instead!

First time we've used this chinese since it was taken over a couple of years ago. The take away it replaced, the 'Yau Li', had been a firm favourite since I was a kid & suppose that I was hoping this would be the same. The fact that it is a cash-only establishment should have been the first alarm bell. Firstly, as others have said, the smell of the food was a bit strange to say the least. Although it didn’t taste too bad within half an hour both my wife & I were feeling nauseous & throughout the night cramps, vomiting, & diahorrea we’re had by us both. We had different meals so can’t put it down to just one. We hadn’t eaten anything else out of the ordinary during the day & can’t say it was definitely from there but I see a call to the council environmental health department on the horizon.

Got bad belly of the food not good at all

Would not recommend, got a order tonight the food smelt and tasted so bad, I called dragon house and got nothing but abuse of them wouldn’t give me money back either so £15 wasted I will never be back!

We ordered a Chicken and Mushroom Curry with Fried Rice & Chips. Mushroom Soup and Fried Rice & Chips arrived. The guy (english very poor) on phone says that's what we ordered?l!!!! Why on earth would I order soup and rice??? 🤔 Anyway, eventually redelivered said curry and charged us EXTRA and requested the return of the soup! 🤪 In addition to all this the curry was inedible as the mushrooms were defo past their best! Never again! 🤢

Ordered pork curry with fried rice. It turned up with chips. Spoke to the man on the phone who could hardly speak English. Was told my rice was at the shop and he would get it delivered. Never turned up so I phoned again to be told that I ordered chips which I didn't he said he would deliver and it still never turned up. Wouldn't rate the experience it was awful. Won't be going there again

Excellent, couldn't fault my dish. The chicken was tender and portions were huge.

Ordered a PLAIN chow mein tonight... it came and it was 75% bean sprouts. I have sensory issues and bean sprouts is one of them. Absolutely ridiculous and very expensive. Although it was very quick.

This is not the first time my family have received awful food from here. Tonight we ordered 2 all in one boxes and a portion of shredded chicken in satay sauce. The shredded chicken in satay smelled off and did not look like typical satay sauce, it was like a yellow colour and really thick and there was hairs in it too. We also received chips in sweet and sour sauce which we never ordered but were still charged for, however we thought we would still try them since we were charged for them and the sauce tasted off. This was a very disappointing experience, to add in something that we didn’t order and be charged for it and then it not even taste nice was just embarrassing. We will not be going back to Dragon House again.

Quick take away fir my son's tea. A massive disappointment when we got home to Inverkeilor. Worse munchiebox I have ever seen everything was awful burnt to a crisp just thick disgusting batter most of it burnt black. Waste of £17.50. Never ever again. First time for every thing....

My bbq ribs were an inch thick in oil on the top there were more bones than meat and the chips were soggy as anything

Very disappointing meal tonight. The combination starters were cold, satay chicken tasted awful. The main meals were inedible, rice and chips cold. We live 2 minutes away. Been good when had previously.

It's terrible service. Went in to the shop to get some food and they don't accept card payments. Is this really possible in 21st century?

Bad service, recieved wrong order and when our food finally came it was cold.... dont order from this place! Doesn't even deserve one star!

My partner and I had takeaway from here this week. We ordered mushroom curry and honey chilli chicken, both were extremely oily and had an unpleasant taste. The chicken batter tasted fishy? Could be something to do with the oil they are frying in. I also thought it was very expensive compared to other Chinese takeaways and honestly was verging on inedible.

Probably the worst Chinese I have ever had the non privilege to eat. Burned to a crisp chilli chips and sloppy non edible chicken in a so called green pepper sauce. Never ever go there

I wasn't a fan... I wanted to try here for a change and found the portions to be small for how much you payed. There wasn't a lot of flavour. The service was okay but I wouldn't really recommend. There is a horrible mess of paint outside of their shop also, sadly hasn't been cleaned.

Very disappointing experience. Flavorless food, not a lot of meat, mostly fat skin scraps instead of chicken or duck, not recommended.

Had chicken fried rice and not alot of chicken and it was either off the leg or thigh and not alot of it will not be going back!

Stayed in Montrose for 6 nights and had meals from here 4 times , lovely food. Fried rice ,chinese noodles comfort food.

Been here twice now. So far it's been great. The service has been quick and the food tastes fresh. The building has been refurbished nicely and the staff serving have been good. So pretty impressed so far 👍
