Dragon Cat is one of the few local original bubble tea stores in Hammersmith and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. They make their own original tea blends that they use in the drinks and everything is done from scratch upon order, so it can take a little while to make, but they don't use syrups or store bought tea bags to get the authentic flavours they produce. Their milk tea selection is delicious, and I would personally recommend the Sun Moon Lake or Earl Grey milk teas - if you prefer something sweeter, the Oreo version is pretty tasty too! They have a loyalty card scheme to get free drinks and also serve some different types of snacks now also done from scratch. There are lots of competitors in the region, but if you are around, I would definitely say making the trip to the Dragon Cat Cafe is completely worth it. Especially if you are looking for original, authentic bubble tea unlike anything else!

Bubble Tea and Milk Tea serving Asian spots have garnered lots of popularity in recent years. The unique Tapioca flavored drinks, teas/coffees served with smile and friendliness, that’s how I have mostly experienced at Bubble Tea spots everywhere and that’s how I want to remember them. Sadly, The Dragon Cat Cafe team defies all that. I visited for a cup of tea after visiting IKEA nearby. The guy at the counter seemed bored and tired. I asked for suggestions but didn’t get a reply, so I opted for their signature Dragon Cat Milk Tea. It took ages for the tea to arrive although there was only one other table with customers. The tea itself was made like someone just wanted to get over with serving the tea while mixing all ingredients without any passion, ratio and logic. It literally tasted like cold grocery store milk with added sugar. Couldn’t taste the tea or anything else to redeem the taste. This place committed the abominable sin of being first Asian tea spot to serve tea devoid of taste with cardboard attitude. Can’t grade it more than a single star just for this.

We saw the sign of the katsu rice burger and was immediately curious. Tasted so good, one of the best Katsu Onigirazu we had in london. So much so we forgot to take photos before destroying the burger itself. We Deffo would come again. The ladies at the counter were really nice aswell. :D

This is just across the road from Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, and we visited before a show. Paid £25 for two Katsu tofu burgers, two wheel cakes and two iced teas. The food was ready in 10 minutes and served wrapped in paper, on a cute bamboo tray. The burger was very fresh, perfectly cooked rice, salad, and tofu was succulent with crispy coating. We had it with spicy mayo, which was very spicy! The pretty wheelcakes were absolutely delicious. Good decor, and USB charger points too.

Absolutely great place for bubble tea and the wheel cakes are also super delicious! Really loved the lunar new years real taro & coconut flavour, would really love if real taro was added as a regular flavour on the menu for drinks and cakes (even without coconut) as it was so delicious and one of my favourites! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere of the place was lovely, we decided to enjoy our order inside. They also have tea tins and various other merchandise available. I can really recommend the metal reusable straw set as it comes with a large straw that's perfect for bubble tea, as well as two smaller straws for regular drinks.

We had never heard of wheel cakes before but as we were having a drink at the next door Craft Beer Company we saw the sign and wondering what wheel cakes were, we had to go on see as we love to try new food. We got the deal of four different ones for £8(usually £2.50 each) and just wow!! Got traditional flavours and oreo too and we loved them all. Cant wait to come back and try more....

Order from their site due to them being closed. Their site is buggy and failed to mention delivery fee. This caused apay more if you want your order, which (when I declined) turned in to a rant email from the owner, with a breakdown of his very small costs and the countries he sends to. Absolutely no apology for a broken site. Just avoid I suggest

I have visited this cafe several times since it opened back in years. Every time I can have something new there. The wheel cake and now the rice burger....It’s quite Taiwanese, while the wheel cake (red beans, bubble, matcha, tuna) wasn’t too sweet. The chicken rice burger has really juicy chicken meat inside.....add more spice.

Had 4-5 staff behind the counter, yet it took 20-30 minutes to make two drinks! Yet when the drinks arrived only one of them was filled to the top. More waiting around ensued, in total 45 minutes which is ridiculous for a takeaway drink. This isn't the first time this has happened with the speed of service and also the underfilling of drinks. Bad service, lack of variety and topping choices, underfilling, this once loyal customer will be taking their custom elsewhere!

I've only recently discovered wheel cakes at a street food stall at Spitalfields, and I was hooked right away, so when I learned about the new cafe at Hammersmith station specialising in wheel cakes and bubble tea, I knew I had to visit! They offer a wide variety of bubble teas which can be personalised with varying sugar levels, served hot or cold, and with a number of toppings including red bean, tapioca, jelly and pudding. They also have seasonal flavours, which are currently strawberry and watermelon milk, cloud and green teas. The wheel cakes are both sweet and savoury, with a weekly special on Wednesdays. Sadly, my trip to London was a day late to try the weekly special, but I ordered the special strawberry and cream milk tea with a mash potato and cheese, and a vanilla custard wheel cake. The cafe is small but very bright, minimalistic and charming. The decor is simple and modern, with several plants and small toys dotted around which add real character to the place. I found a small table near the back of the cafe and before long my tea and wheel cakes arrived; labeled so that I could tell them apart! Everything was delicious, and I was particularly impressed by the savoury wheel cake, which was very different to any I've tried before. My only regret is that I only had a small appetite when I visited, as I would have loved to try more flavours! I can't wait to return again to try something new, and I would highly recommend checking them out!

This place opened just 3 weeks ago by the Bradmore Square entrance to Hammersmith Broadway/bus/tube station. They're a small modern Taiwanese tea house with what looks like the latest machinery. When you order, you say what you want then how sweet you want it (0-100%) and how hot you want it (ice cold, cold, cold with no ice, or hot). They have a syrup dispenser that dispenses an exact amount based on your choice, and they very carefully prepare your brew (this can take time though) to a perfect strength. It's poured into a branded plastic cup and sealed by another fancy machine so it's air tight and you can take it with you (the straw pierces it). Now, onto the teas - they do your standard teas (black, earl grey, jasmine, oolong) as well as a Taiwanese local one (Sun Moon Lake) and their house tea (Black Dragon Cat) which reminds me of the tea used in Thai Iced Tea. They also do them with milk, or what they call Latte Milk (has some foamy syrupy milk on top of the tea), and cream cloud (which has toppings like cheesecake flavour and vanilla). They do matcha and flower teas too, and fruit teas. Teas can have toppings like tapioca (the balls that turn your tea into a bubble tea), jelly, red bean and pudding. My favourite so far is the Dragon Cat Latte which is very similar to a Thai Iced Tea, but without the condensed milk, and it's so refreshing. They put a lot of care into preparing the teas, and it shows - they're the perfect strength. I mustn't forget their wheel cakes - they serve freshly cooked Taiwanese wheel cakes, these are a similar batter to some kinds of waffle, they're round and a couple of cm tall, and filled. They have a huge wheel cake maker at the counter where you can watch them being made, and you get fillings like custard, matcha, chocolate, red bean, bubble tea, also savoury ones like tuna/sweetcorn and potato/cheese. All in all, I love this place. I love it enough to do the 20 minute walk from my flat to this place to get my tea and bring it home! They have all their tea bags neatly displayed on the shelves so you can see all the different varieties, feels like a proper tea house.

The food tastes more like fast food rather than a restaurant. The flavors are normal, but on the salty side. You need to order at the counter, and the staff won't serve you any water or provide any service, yet they will still charge a mandatory service fee. This restaurant also serves as a supermarket, and my friend told me that they bought moldy food here after I had my meal. I won't go a second time, it was a terrible experience.
