Simply the best pizza for Celiac/Gluten intolerant folks! We really enjoyed the food and service from Hannah. We mentioned to her that our experience with gluten free base has been like eating cardboard with cheese and toppings, she assured us that it won't be the case and the kitchen delivered, really pleased with our experience.

Very nice pizza, our coeliac friend very much enjoyed it. However, gluten-free is not a choice or a fancy upgrade, it's a dietary requirement. GF flour is a little dearer, but how you can justify £3.50 more for just one pizza?! I've attached photos of the online menus we used when deciding to purchase this pizza (takeaway) over a supermarket one. There's nothing on here to alert us to the extra charge. We felt a little robbed, and as such we sadly won't return. Our first and last Dough experience :-(

Not a bad pizza, but soggy in the middle. The outer parts were perfect, and hinted at what could have been. The service was lacklustre, with surly staff. Lovely wine though. Sadly we were sat by the door, which people kept leaving open, and became a pain. Overall not bad, but not memorable at all really.

My friend and I visited this establishment and had a wonderful time. The servers were very nice, and even gave us lots of extra time when we couldn’t decide on our order (my friend, not me). I got the cannelloni and my friend got the meat pizza (with a complicated name). I rated mine 8/10- it was very nice but I would have liked a little more tomato sauce. My friend rated it 6/10- it had a nice base but was a bit sparse on the toppings (more cheese and tomato please)! We got free water in a fancy bottle which was good. Overall, a lovely lunch.

Great pizza! Nice range of bases and gluten free well catered for. The toppings are high quality and the Mortadella on pizza my wife had was tasty and plentiful. It’s not cheap but pizzas are massive and service was very good. The waitress even gave my wife a tip of a gluten free app in your local city. Some good craft beer on the menu if that’s your thing. Perfect location to cool bars, pubs and shops.

Hidden in the alleys, but there is an endless stream of people~ Bath has a deep connection with Rome, and it feels like you need a pizza to match this style! This time I ordered two flavors: Mediterranean and shrimp. When the shrimp flavor was served, it was covered with green vegetables. I always thought it was a Mediterranean flavor! The hot sauce here is really spicy, so be careful with it! The store provides a variety of dough options. The base dough of the shrimp pizza has a special aroma, is darker in color, and has a unique flavor. It turns out that the taste of pizza can be played in this way, and the whole concept is multiplication! The size of the pizza exceeded expectations, it was so satisfying, and I was full after one meal!

I've been around the world a few times and what I've enjoyed here is that this is among the best pizza I've had. I've always found the best in the places I didn't expect and this one was so good I had to get an extra to go on my day leaving the city to take home. I know it's not the thing most people want to know, but I can attest to the fact this pizza reheats wonderfully for a late night snack. The service was quite excellent at this location as well. Definitely ask for the garlic and chili oils for your pizza.

My boyfriends and I visited the restaurant on Sunday. We had a great experience and were attended by a lovely young lady named Kiara who had a lot of knowledge on the pizzas, she recommended a special that was squash sauce instead of tomatoes which was convincing but we still chose a classic which was Devine. The starters were also nice and overall good value for money. Definitely recommend visiting if you are in Bath :)

After trying nearly all of the pizza places in Bath, Dough was next on my list. I must say, overall it was pretty disappointing. The service was quick, friendly, and fairly professional. However, for a Saturday, I felt they had too many staff for what seemed like a quiet service. A lot of them were standing around chatting rather than being more proactive. This is a harsh critique, as the service itself was good. The atmosphere was nice and warm, although playing an entire One Direction album felt a bit out of place for a pizzeria. Still, it wasn’t the worst ambient music I’ve experienced at a pizzeria in Bath. I opted for the ham and mushroom pizza, my go-to and favourite. The ham was fairly good but simple, lacking any real flavour. The mushrooms were scarce and so thinly chopped that I didn’t taste any throughout the entire pizza. The cheese had a nice texture but was lacking in flavour, much like the basic tomato sauce with just a hint of herbs. I wouldn't normally critique a sauce, as pizza sauce should be simple, but this one was completely bland. Now, for the main event—the dough! The impressive 12 dough options were nice to see, with a good focus on healthier and gluten-free choices. I went with their standard sourdough base, which was okay. The dough was fluffy and crispy from the electric oven but, like the rest of the pizza, lacked flavour. To be fair, they don’t claim their sourdough base to be anything extraordinary, even calling it “simple” themselves, and I’d definitely agree with that statement. Personally, I think a more flavorful base would have been better. The only saving grace was the garlic oil, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, the experience was just okay. I wouldn’t go again, even though the specials menu did catch my interest. In my opinion, if you can't get a simple pizza right, the fancy ones won’t be much better.

First time we’ve tried Dough, as a locally owned independent we were keen to try it. Arrived at lunchtime, plenty of available tables. The waiting staff seemed very inexperienced, New to the job?? Sour dough pizza was certainly different. You can pay an extra £2 to add things to the dough such as hemp or turmeric, but to be honest we preferred the normal dough. Some pizzas had a pumpkin base, rather than tomato, and again it was ok, but preferred the traditional tomato base. The special was not well described by the waitress, and not made clear it was a pumpkin base sauce. Also not mentioned that it was more expensive than other pizzas at £22.95. In all they are nice pizzas, standard range of drinks available, but a bit pricy. £6.95 for a small bottle of Ale. The waiting staff seemed a bit lost at time. I was offered chilli oil for my pizza, but she came back saying I’d have to wait a few minutes, in the end it never came at all. Give Dough a try, but there is better in Bath.

After visiting twice, I must say I love this pizzeria. Even my Italian friends from different regions approved the authenticity of the food, which says a lot. Their menu offers a wide range of options, including various pizza bases to cater to all tastes and dietary requirements, such as allergies. I’ve tried their ham & mushroom pizza, Calzone, and Margherita on different bases, and each one was freshly cooked to perfection. The crust is never burnt, and I love the thickness and evenly expanded dough, with a perfect balance of crust to center. The atmosphere is lovely, making it ideal for both dates and friendly meetups. Once, we visited as a group of eight without a reservation, and they kindly accommodated us with nice tables. However, as it can get quite busy, I suggest booking in advance. The wine menu looks varied, though I haven’t tried it myself. You can even see their oven, which adds to the cool vibe. The waitstaff are polite and friendly, delivering excellent service. I would definitely go back!

As Italians, we can confidently say that Dough Pizza Restaurant in Bath offers the most delicious pizza we've tried in the UK—remarkably similar to what we're used to in Northern Italy. The dough is thin, incredibly light, and perfectly baked, making it easy to enjoy a whole pizza without feeling too full. One of the standout features is their variety of sourdough bases, each crafted with care, offering a range of options to suit every preference. The gluten-free pizzas are exceptional—honestly, the best we’ve ever tasted, with no compromise on flavor or texture. The toppings are fresh and varied, allowing for a truly personalized pizza experience. Combined with the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, Dough Pizza is the perfect spot for an authentic, satisfying Italian meal. We can’t recommend it enough!

He has coeliac disease and was really surprised at the variety of flavours available in their gluten-free bases. He went for the meaty feast on the gluten-free turmeric base, and it was amazing! The dough was so flavoursome and paired perfectly with the toppings - he's convinced it's one of the best things he's tried since being diagnosed. I recently had a fantastic pizza experience in Bath and wanted to share it with everyone. The restaurant offered a relaxed atmosphere, and we were seated right away around 2 pm. We started with a bruschetta, superb! Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to whet our appetites. For the main course, we opted for the pizza mortadella. It was delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. While the artichokes were good, I think the pizza might be even better without them (a matter of personal preference, of course 😎!). Finally, we couldn't resist ending the meal on a sweet note with the Nutella pizza. The presentation was truly stunning, making it even more tempting. The combination of rich Nutella and a perfectly cooked crust was divine. And to top it all off, we finished with a refreshing Limoncello . If you are around Bath and you want to a good pizza try this 😉💯, I recommend it.

I know it has been said by others but I will say it again, BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA EVER. We had the regular gf crust and it was wonderful. The servers were friendly and it was an overall great experience.

Decent pizza but the dough is not really authentic...we tried to ask for a Marinara pizza with Burrata cheese on top but the waitress wasn't helpful so we ordered a Margherita and vegetarian pizza...the service was quick and staff friendly.

Today, I had the pleasure of indulging in afternoon tea at Square Grill Bar in Bath, and it was nothing short of delightful. The selection of finger sandwiches was fresh and varied, with the smoked salmon and cream fresh being a standout. The scones were perfectly baked—crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, served with a generous helping of clotted cream and strawberry jam. The sweet treats, including mini carrot cake and macarons, were beautifully presented and tasted divine. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure our teapots were never empty. A truly relaxing and elegant afternoon!

This is our go-to for “daughter-back-to-Bath-day”. Right next to Sainsbury’s car park where you have 90 minutes free. The service is amazing.. they get you in and out, without feeling rushed, in 45 minutes. The food is simply delicious.

Superb and authentic Neapolitan pizza! Pizzas came out quickly and were delicious, I particularly recommend the Quattro Formaggi which was one of the best I've had! Staff were friendly too and the music playlist was awesome too. Good prices, well worth visiting if you're in Bath!

this restaurant in Keynsham is hands-down one of the best Italian spots I’ve been to. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. The food? Incredible. The bruschetta was fresh, the pasta dishes were clearly homemade (the Tagliatelle Bolognese was rich and comforting), and the salmone was cooked perfection. Don’t even get me started on the Tiramisu—it was so light and creamy! The staff were super friendly and really knew their stuff, helping us pick the perfect wine. Honestly, everything felt authentic and made with care. I’ll definitely be back soon.
