Doner Daddy in Haringey

What an absolute disgrace. Service was rubbish, not asking for much but a hello wouldn’t hurt. The food was an embarrassment to Turkish food. If you know this kind food and like it - don’t go here. Waste of stomach space.

Lovel doner. They're always clean behind the counter, fast, and friendly. A very rare combination! Always happy to recommend them to people.

Great kebab shop with large portions for the price, would recommend and go again. Came around midnight and ordered 1 donner + bread (£8.50) and 1 large donner, bread, n chips (roughly £11.50). All good but the bread could be fluffier. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt light though it was definitely more of a takeout than a sit down restaurant.

If u don’t like Doner from the pot you can ask the guys and they will cut it fresh for you. The Shops gets busy and it takes longer to cook some customers are in rush and won’t wait.

This is an excellent place! Various options (including vegetarian and vegan), nice and comfortable seating area, amazing staff and most importantly, top level delicious food in great portions. Strongly recommended!

I order food from Donner daddy, sometimes the food is ok, noT TOP QUALITY but ok But today was really bad. When I call de place to tell them, they reaction was horrible and the person who talked to me was so cocky, and he said to me not to be worry about the food, he said to me that the next time he will give me a portion of chips for free. FMF MY ORDER 1 chicken wings and couscous What I received : chicken wings with rice 1 chicken wings with chips What I received: chicken wings with rice 1 beef meat with chips Beef super dry and chips are almost mashed potatoes. Of course, they doesn’t cut the beef from the kebab, they always cut the meat long time before and they keep it in a hot metal container longer enough to be dry and disgusting. Thank you so much DONNER DADDY but you do not destroy our Sunday dinner never again. I highly not recommend to anyone. Always when you order something, just keep watching because it’s very difficult to trust them.

Ordered a takeaway from Donner Daddy, spent £40, and it was inedible. The boxes were soaking wet and looked like they had been run over. The bread was like cardboard, and the meat and chips looked like they had been dropped from a great height. The only good thing about the meal was that the portion size was so small there wasn’t much to throw in the bin. Even the dog turned his nose up at it. I just feel really ripped off. Save your money—cook at home!

My husband came here after visiting woodgreen for snooker masters and he said its the best kebab his ever had. The service was amazing an the knowledge of the menu of the believe was the owner and his mannerism was world class. Would recommend anyone to go if in area.

Freezing cold food over an hour late salad wasn’t fresh either had a smell to it not impressed

This restaurant used to be the best place for a tasty, affordable chicken doner wrap. The doner was always tender and flavorful, the salad fresh, and the tortilla just lightly grilled. It was the top spot for this kind of food, hands down. However, over the past year, the quality has dropped drastically. Every time I order, the wrap arrives cold, which is unacceptable. The tortilla is soggy and cold, making it feel like I’m eating leftovers. It’s clear that attention to detail has been lost, especially during the night shift. To make things worse, the prices have gone up significantly. I’m not willing to pay £10.50 for a cold, poorly made wrap. In my recent orders I also didn’t receive a napkin or a plastic cover around the wrap, just the paper. So eating it is not a great experience. I’m sharing this in hopes that management will notice and take action to improve quality control. I usually order after 8PM, so hopefully this helps identify where things are going wrong.

You can't compare it with a kebab in Germany, but you don't have to. Priced high but probably normal for London. More red cabbage would be nice. And more sauce. Otherwise completely fine.

Honestly bad from A to Z. Stopped here for a quick meal on the way to darts. This ordering terminal may be for large chains but not for an authentic kebab shop. So everything is pretty impersonal. The food was just bad. German kebab is advertised but that has nothing to do with a German kebab. Above all, there is a lack of quality and good sauces.

Disgusting... advertising German meat. .. everyone who has ever eaten kebab is ashamed .. would rather have eaten vomit .. you can see in the picture .. I didn't even get half done ..

absolutely incredible food. delicious and a huge portion. came in very late and was still greeted with a warm welcome. perfect ratio of donner sauce and salad. owner even making the time to have a conversation at around 2 am

Rude staff, over priced, not good quality. Top of this staff member refused to give me small kebab (even after I told I have bulimia and I have to eat small portions to control my eating). DO NOT GO

The best lamb doner in Wood Green. Portion was massive, the meat was good and not oily. And the Turkish hospitality was 10/10.

One of my favourite places to get Döner. They're really friendly here, and the food is served almost instantly. The food is also really good, and looks hygienically prepared; also cool to see beef being served, for a change! It's nice to see it's an LGBTQ-friendly business, which is also reassuring! Always a pleasure to come here.

Food is delicious but this is the second time they’ve missed items we’ve ordered and I’ve had to request a refund. Makes me very hesitant to order again.

Have been a few times, i am a fan of lamb and chicken wings with couscous, cucumber tomatoes and lits of red cabbage with garlic sauce and Ayran yoghurt drink, lovely.

This is becoming the worse food delibery site. How can your delibery drivers mark the order as delivered, but never give it this is crazy! And appalling

Overpriced and unfriendly staff.

Doner Wrap, Large 14.00 was good and they followed my 'no tomato' note. Just Eat driver didn't even bother reading the 'dont ring bell dont knock' note and banged loudly on the door. When I complained and asked him to read notes he did not seem to care and walked off.

Recently done up to accommodate more eat in customers. The Doner is available in Beef and Chicken meats. Both are lovely. Salad and sources are available. With bread or wrap. Excellent value for money.

Portions disappointing for prices

I have often ordered food from this place and enjoyed my meals. However, my last order was not so good. I ordered a meal platter for home delivery and experienced a foul smell and taste from the Adana kebab, which I had to throw away, and my son was not pleased with the wings as they lacked seasoning. I have called Doner Daddy twice in a row, requesting to speak with the manager and provided my contact details. However, I have been fobbed off each time I call. I will not be buying any more meals as a result.

Went for a very late night, kebab reviews looked promising. I was greeted by a very friendly staff. We went for meat and chips with salad and drinks, which came £25 I would say overall the kebab chip was average but great staff

We are regular customers at doner daddy, the food and the price is always 10/10. However, we came in today - the service was good and we were treated nice- and the food came out being overcooked, salty and dry ! Not the most pleasant experience food taste wise, knowing the type of quality we used to receive w the previous staff. I must point out it wasn't busy in the place either, with no delivery orders, to my knowledge. The salads we got were wrongly made for us as well, containing vegetables we didnt ask for. The bread was soggy! For the price, today we expected more :/

The food in the restaurant is served on paper plates, the portion is very small for the price, I am not satisfied and I will not go back there.

they were almost 2 hours late!! usually the burgers tastes fantastic, far the opposite really, different taste, cold, not much flavour, also ordered rice pudding, it tastes as if they didn't know to cook it, immense kick of sugar, like they just added nestle cream or something, I am so disappointed!

Good food but portion was small for £15

Food came with little bread and no lemon. Out of 3 meals I personally don't ea5 the sauces only lemon s9 had to go to the shop then reheat the food. No happy this time

The store is lovely and not at fault here as the food is amazing as always however the driver who delivered the food was rude on the phone asking me to "open the door" which I'm not able to do without a incoming call on the intercom and when I asked where the driver was to go get the food from them they just kept repeating themselves to "open the door" either not listening or so incapable of communication that he cannot do his effectively.

I ate chicken doner from here a few days ago and I felt like I was eating only spices, the chicken taste never came, it was a bad kebab consisting of oregano and salt.

There is a good, fast and tasty kebab. You can easily get a better doner inbWG, but this one is close to the station. I ate it many times and only one (or many as one) it gave me a stomach ache. the problem is small salads and recently something has been missed from my order. Bread, salad dressing. They will happen often. Last time prices have gone up. I know everything has become expensive, but this place is more expensive compared to the quality. For a cheaper price you can eat better doner in this area.

Very convenient for Wood Green tube station and the W3 bus to Alexandra Palace. We chose here as it had ample seating. The staff were friendly and an honest mistake was easily rectified. The food was quick, freshly made and tasty. Very pleased with our 1/4 meal and reasonably priced with generous portions. My only feedback was the very slippery floor by the toilets, but I'm sure that is easily solved. We would definitely go back again if in the area.

All of the garlic sauce leaked out from the box and all of the other boxes got wet. Disappointed because the garlic sauce makes the donner delicious but all waisted

I’ll start by saying this is a very respectable establishment. The salads are good, the place is clean, and the service is friendly and efficient. It wouldn’t be right to give it a 5 star, but for a late night kebab or halloumi wrap for lunch this place is unreservedly great. If I could offer any feedback, it would be feedback I give to most kebab shops - please wrap the bottom of the wrap so the sauce doesn’t all come out! It’s very hard to eat the end of a poorly wrapped juicy wrap. But I digress, Donner Daddy is unexpectedly great - so, enjoy without hesitation :)

Won't order again, complete rip off, ordered large portions of chips, received the tiniest of pigeon like portions, if this is their idea of large, would hate to see small. Not recommended, used to be good, not so anymore, this is Wood Green, not the Shires.

Terrible they gave my order to someone else

We ordered a larger platter this time but it definitely wasn't worth the jump in price because you don't get any more salad, rice, meat or shish. We only received an additional lamb shish (4 cubes of lamb) yet we paid £14.50 extra so really don't know how they justify that huge jump in price when the portion of everything else is exactly the same, in the same container size (so technically we actually received less rice and bulgar). The wings also weren't very nice as were slimy and somewhat undercooked. It's a shame as we have ordered and eaten from Doner Daddy countless times but seems it's getting too expensive for what you get now.
